The accommodation - like a mini-villa! We had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living area with table and kitchen, and 3 balconies The cleanliness The location - quiet area, feels quite remote and relatively un-touristy, but within 10 minute walk of supermarket / tavernas A small but perfectly decent beach very close by - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive Pool - nice to swim in, and quiet, plenty of loungers etc if you want to spend the day there 2 other beaches within 5 minute drive The on-site restaurant was one of the best in the area Close to the airport - just 10-15 minute drive We stayed a week, and could have stayed longer!

Leaving and having to come home?!

Nice and spacious apartments. Great seaview. Nice pool area. Good WIFI conx.

A little slow service at dinner time and food often cold which means more waiting...

We had a 2 bathrooms 2 sleepingrooms apartment (number 6). With 4 balconys offering a beautifull sea view. We had a warm welcome by the host, so it immediately felt like home! We went a few times to the beach nearby Stavros which was a great place for swimming and relaxing.

The twinbed was a bit small for two persons and you definitely need a car to go to the closest supermarket and the beach.

We were treated so incredibly friendly by all of the staff. The chief of tersanas village organised a taxi for us which brought us to Agia Triada and then to the Airport as we didn't have a car for rent. He also called a car rental for us! Moreover, they have an amazing Restaurant from which you can really watch the sun go down over the sea. Just amazing! We ate there 4 times, for lunch and for dinner. And everytime is was soo good! Before we decided what we would like to eat they guided us into the kitchen, explained everything and even let us try, so we couldperfectly choose our very personal Food! We have never seen something like that before. All of the facilities and the Appartement were perfectly clean and spacious.A Little bay to go Swimming is only a ten minutes walk away. And we enjoyed some Cocktails for 3 Euros between 7 and 8 pm at the Poolbar. Thanks to all These aspects we enjoyed our stay so much!

    The view to the sea.

The city bus goes there every 2 hours and if you want to go to airport, you should first take the bus go to city and then take another bus, which makes it difficult. Taxi is expensive to get from there. If you rent a car, it is a good place to stay. The rooms have very basic furniture, maybe you can get better place with the same money you pay for there.

We stayed here for the very first day in Crete. Hotel was perfect for staying for one night. We liked it, so we decided to stay here and on the last day of vacation too. Wifi in Crete is terrible, as you have to go to the hotel's lobby for it. Here in Tersanas hotel you have wifi in your bed - perfect.

Hotel does not fit if you don't rent a car, as sea is about kilometer away. But if you like, you can take a walk.

The apartment was very spacious and clean, and the owners very accommodating.the views of the sea were fantastic and a very peaceful location.

You would need to hire a car as transport links very poor.Wi-fi wouldn't work from the rooms.

Spacious 2 bed apartment, lovely setting, great views, plenty of sun beds, lovely warm pool, great restaurant and authentic Greek home cooked food, poolside bar open from 10am until late, great cocktails etc!!

Shower a bit small - if you are more than average size you would struggle!!

Tersanas Village is a beautifully situated small development, 12-15 mins walk to the nearest shop if you go left at the gate and the same to a fabulous, small harbour beach if you turn right. However both are step walks so beware. I cannot praise Giorgos and his wonderful family enough. His mother, Maria, cooks the most wonderful homely Greek traditional meals (she also gives lessons!). It’s a lovely place to relax and the guys at the pool bar are really welcoming - thanks Michel and Manole. The bus to Stavros beach and/or Chania town leaves up near the shop and it costs €1.90 to go Chania (about 5 buses per day). The apartment was lovely and had a balcony with furniture, had all the kitchen stuff I needed as I ate at the restaurant or pool bar most days and I really only made coffee in the room. Loved, loved, loved Tersanas. Thanks all.

A little out of the way - which is what I wanted - However, if you have any walking difficulties I'd recommend hiring a car.

The team at Tersanas are incredibly friendly and helpful. Giorgos will do everything he can to make your stay enjoyable and hassle free. There is an atmosphere between both staff and travellers that is very special. The food at Maria's taverna is excellent, Manoli is wonderful and Michael & Bobby at the Sunset bar are just lovely - and full of great local hints and tips for days out and about. It is not high end accommodation, but the apartments are spacious and the pool is clean and a good size. The view of the sunsets from the taverna are truly spectacular. Our family cannot recommend this fantastic place enough and are determined to visit again as soon as we can. Thanks Tersanas Village!

We arrived to find we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite which was more than we needed but very much appreciated. There is a pool, small pool bar and restaurant on site and the employees exude Cretean hospitality at its finest!

    Kitchen basics could be better.

Most everything was great...clean, spacious, friendliness, walking distance to excellent restaurants, pubs, beaches, swimming pool, pool bar....all in all a really wonderful place.

The Shower. Just a small bracket to hold the shower head would have sufficed...trying to shower one handed and being a contortionist at my age is not good.

Chose this for our last night in Crete because of proximity to airport but wished we could have stayed longer. The facilities were fantastic. We enjoyed dinner at the lovely sunset cafe, and breakfast the next morning also. It would be a lovely place to relax, sitting by the great pool, and it has easy access to Chania if you have a car.
