The location was perfect for site seeing. It is just next to the the United Pedestrian Walkway and very close to the metro station Acropolis. The service is good too, with the staff speaking very good English. The rooms are tolerably small, given the price they charge. But they are clean and modern. The view is perfect on the roof top and good in our street facing room. House keeping is not that forth coming in providing toiletries and daily needs in the room. |

Very friendly staff although I arrived in the middle of the night. Late check out was possible in spite of a fully booked hotel. Great breakfast on the roof garden with view over Athens! Great! Internet use should be included in the price. |

The view was really great and the accessibility to the sights around Athens was excellent. The front desk staff was very helpful and seemed to truly enjoy what they do. The elevators were slow and very cramped. |

This hotel is great, and almost new. The location is perfect, aside of the Acropolis. The rooms are large enough, breakfast is excellent on the roof terrace of the hotel, with a 360 degrees view on the city. Absolutely nothing, when arriving in Athens by plane, we suggest you take the metro up to Acropolis station (a 1 minute walk from the hotel), or actually the X95 bus (which is temporarily replacing the metro line that is closed for 6 months) up to downtown Athens, and walk 6 minutes to your hotel. |

The staff were invariably friendly and helpful. They answered even the most demanding requests with good humour. All in all an excellent experience and I shall recommend the Athens Gate to friends. |

The room was clean. The breakfast is tasty. I stayed superior double, but it was located on the 1st floor and I could I barely see Temple of Olympian Zeus. The street was noisy. I could have been informed previously. |

The location is excellent for visiting all of the sights in Athens, accessing the train and bus, dining, shopping. The breakfast is wonderful. The view from the roof-top restaurant is amazing, as is the view from some of the rooms. The elevators are rather small. There are two of them and they only fit 4 people comfortably. This should be taken into consideration by potential guests who are physically handicapped or elderly and require an elevator. Should not be an issue for others who can simply take the stairs. |

The location of the hotel was excellent for visiting many of the city's attractions. The view from our 7th floor deluxe room was spectacular as were the views from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food in the restaurant did not match the views. The downside of being on the 7th floor was that we were beneath the restaurant and were kept awake by the noise from above. |

From arrival to departure the staff seemed to know who we were and nothing was too much trouble and I observed the staff responding in the same way with other guests |

Staff were helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace where a very good breakfast buffet was served each morning was outstanding--gorgeous views. The room was a bit small but we had a lot of luggage, this being part of a longer trip. |

The proximity to shopping and local attractions was great. The buffet breakfast was very good. The street below was very noisy. When we asked one of the females at the reservation desk for a phone book to look up a phone number, she would not give us one. Other than this particular person, the staff was helpful and friendly. |

Location is perfect for seeing the ancient sites of Athens. The temple of Olympian Zeus is right across the street and it's very easy to walk to the Acropolis, Plaka neighborhood, Parliament building, etc. Spectacular panoramic view from the rooftop bar. Traffic from the busy street in front was a little noisy. |
