Champagne buffet breakfast, the free transfers from port and airport, the hotel swimming pool and proximity to the town of Fira (walking distance). The rooms are not well maintained for a 5* hotel and half of the rooms with 'volcano views' are actually facing the main road. Those rooms facing the other side may be better but they have a narrow staircase, without a bannister, leading up to the gallery/bedroom which was not practical. The biggest disappontment was the number of iunexplainable flys in the rooms. We changed rooms 3 times but just could not get away from them - not something one would expect to find in this level of hotel. |

Almost everyone on the Hotel staff is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is good and the pool is excelent. The Hotel location, although not on the beach, is very central, and that allows one to reach every beach of the island in about 20 minutes by car. The breakfast is good, but could be improved considering the price one pays to stay there. |

The food was excellent, it was on par with a five star hotel. The swimming pool is beautiful, very big and clean. I would not rate this hotel five star. The rooms are basic and the staff aren't very helpful (even though they do try to be but don't know how to be). Seems to me that it is considered to be a hotel only for tourists so they tend to get away with a lot. |

The rooms were nice and comfortable. (1) The hotel price is extremely expensive considering the location. (2) It's not in the first line of Phira center (it requires aprox. 10 minutes on foot) and it's far away from the beaches; and the acommodations; (3) and services are not good enough for the amount paid. |

Overall I would recommend this hotel. A good location with amazing views of the volcano and caldera from the rooms with a volcano view. A well designed hotel, very spacious with nice public areas. Pool is large and big enough to have a good swim. Meals at the pool bar are very good and reasonably priced. Good range of food at breakfast. The hotel is on main road into Fira and so volcano view rooms get traffic noise in evening and morning - take your earplugs and it will be fine. Crocus restaurant has nice food, but doesn't have quite the right atmosphere to feel like a real gourmet experience, service was slow and staff were continually dropping cutlery and crockery. Some of the hotel staff are excellent, others are aloof. |

overpriced for its quality. the room was relatively small compared to the other hotel and i found a stain on blanket... however, the pool and sunbed was pretty good. i really enjoy the sun and swimming. hygiene and cleaning |

Staff were really excellent and made it what it was, Speak to George at the Bar, and Maria at front desk they are just beautiful people... the location is a short walk from the main town, but not too far, the rooms were good and bed was comfortable, bathroom was great, we had bad weather but i can imagine it is just awesome in warm weather.very happy. pools are not heated, and there is no jacuzzi, fairly exposed to wind (which i understand is fairly unusual anyway) but really quite good. |

Majestic hotel is located just few minutes away from Fira town centre. we loved our volcano view room with awesome balcony..perfect to enjoy stunning sunsets. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free WiFi, free transfer to/from port and airport awesome. we enjoyed breakfast everymorning included in the room rate. Swimming pool location..looking out the sea fantastic! There is a dirt bike track below the cliff opposite the hotel that my husband used for fun, when we hired a quad bike for a day :) |

it is an excellent property with good rooms each of which comes with a wonderful view . It is right at the enterance to the fira town so it is just five minutes walk from town . being on the narrow strip of land high on the begining of caldhera it gets views on the sea from both sides.well laid out spacious rooms with good bathrooms .being equipeed as a business hotel , cum leisure hotel as they also cater to business conferences , they have many electrical points in the room so you can charge your camera , laptop and phones all together. wireless internet was efficient and free. I would certainly recommend this hotel for its ammenities , well trained staff and yes also a well trained massuse in the SPA and an excellent & attentive chef. |

good size room. helpful staff the location is about 10 minutes walk from fira. So you do not get as good sea view as you would with fira hotels. |

Good customer service, attention to detail. Excellent linguitic ability of the staff. Very welcoming and helpful with travel and dinner recommendations. Pool and pool bar could stay open longer. What could really push this to a higher rating would be to have the staff set up lounge chair towels for you and circulate with drinks menus etc. It was basically a self service pool with none of the finesse a hotel as expensive as this should have. |

Breakfast was very good. Hotel itself very pleasing and modern - exactly what I expected from the pictures on the web site. Swimming pool area very nice; used the gym a few times. Hotel lacked ambience and atmosphere during day and evening. More background music during day or evening activity would have been good. Rooms were not cleaned properly each day. For two days we did not have clean glasses. For price of room would have expected a lot more from the room i.e. wine glasses, proper hair dryers, white rather than grey towels which were not soft. Spa treatments too highly priced. |

Most staff were very friendly and helpfull. Also they appreciated that guests were not getting what they expected. Rooms were of poor quality and the hotel was understaffed to give 5* service. Cold food. No Swimming after 19.30! Off duty staff getting drunk at the bar. |

la piscine, le confort de la chambre localisé en dehors de Thira, pas de navettes prévues pour venir chercher le clients qui sont dans Thira. se veut design, mais les choix du beige et du bois ne sont pas en accord avec la clareté des autres batiments grecs qui sont eux blancs immaculés. mauvais commentaires car déçue d'avoir eu l'hotel en dehors de Thira |

No es en absoluto un hotel de 5 estrellas, si acaso esuno de cuatro. lo unico bueno la ubicacion cercana al pueblo, pero el hotel es un 4 estrellas en toda regla Las habitaciones son muy, muy pero que muy ruidosas, poo confortables, con camas incomodas y las vistas tanto las del volcan como las otras no son tan bonitas. |

todo, el ervicio el desayuno, la cercania con Thira,la capital de laisla, se peude ir volver caminado. La habitacion nuestra era una de las que dan al amar asi que veiamosla puesta del sol desde la terraza que tiene cada una de ellas. |
