Staff were ultra helpful, conveniently located
Located in the city centre, not far from the beach and bus stop. Very nice personnel always ready to help.
The cleanliness of the hotel and proximity to sea and good restaurant ants
Noisey night times outside
Really excellent service from the Manager. Completely organised with regard to marathon day transport plan (taxis). Also a nice area by the sea, although I didn't get to see it apart from in the rain and dark :-)
A bit of wear and tear, had to ask for a hairdryer but good value for money. A bit difficult to get to by public transport.
Staff were friendly and happy to give advice whenever asked. Staff were happy to recommend local restaurants and easy ways to travel to airport.
Excellent breakfast, lovely helpful staff
The staff was very nice and helpful.Close to the Sf.Efrem Monastery.
Wonderful big room in a great location. Very helpful owner and great breakfast.
Attentiveness of staff
Some noise from local bars
Arranged transport to and from airport and very good rates. Lovely hotel and pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
The Staff at Thomas Beach Hotel were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast was great and the room was perfect for our stay.
Staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel in a great place near to beach and bars. The pool area at the hotel was fabulous. Bed was comfortable and room was clean, but rooms could do with a little improvement.
It was near the beach and we had a nice dinner at a local Italian place.
Booking page showed as an airport hotel 19 km from airport. It is actually >40 km and an expensive taxi fair. Hallways not lit so difficult to see. Hotel furnishings well worn.
Location staff pool breakfast
The staff couldn't be more helpful, they even collected us from the airport and then dropped us to the port. We only stayed for one night so we didn't get to use any of the facilities provided at this hotel. The hotel is in a good location.
The rooms are outdated and needed some DIY jobs! The walls needed to be repaired as you could see gaps between the door frame and the walls.
A good hotel with a nice swimming pool. The owner and staff were very helpful and a transfer service from the Airport is available on request. The beach and all it's facilities are a few hundred yards away.
The taxi's at the Airport are used to taking visitors to Athens. Our taxi driver had not heard of the Hotel's location and continually got lost and in the end got quite bad tempered. Therefore use the Hotels transfer service
Large rooms, with balconies, good WiFi connection, very good, active staff, close to restaurant area and port. Not far from airport.
Noise insulation could be better
This hotel is located in a suburb called Nea Maki which is a small town next to the sea. It is safe, has lovely shops and restaurants and is a nice alternative to more expensive airport hotels. We arrived at the port from Hydra, and took the Metro to Pellini and then 2 buses to get there. It was easy and everyone was very helpful with directions. The hotel's staff are super welcoming and the owner also ensures you are satisfied with your accommodations. The beds are very clean and comfy, the air conditioner works well and the wifi is reliable all through the hotel. The carpets are a little worn, but very clean as with the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is included, and very good. We were very satisfied and happy to stay there. The hotel arranged for car service to the airport which takes one half an hour at a cost of 25 euros which we found very reasonable. We were glad to experience a different area of Greece and appreciated their efforts to make our stay enjoyable. The location would, in our opinion, be a little far for Athens center but in our case we had already been to Athens and were glad to be out of the busyness of the city.
- helpful and friendly staff - good location close to Athens and the airport
- hotel needs some fixing, carpets and bathroom were quite old and not clean enough for that price - potentially noisy area - either from the beach bars / clubs close by, or by the stupid chicken on the yard next door
Big room, ok breakfast. Good hotel if you need a place to stay before or after taking a ferry from Rafina.
Great location and very friendly staff. Love the pool and the breakfast was great.
Rooms are half renovated, looks like they are either in the process of renovation or ran out of money.
Very friendly stuff. Owner advised correctly when to depart to airport and which way to take. Supplied breakfast at 06.30 even though we were ready to leave without...wouldn't agree not to give full service :-) Renewed Hotel, almost finished, good located , lovely garden with small pool . Easy to find. Good refrigirator.
Should finish renovation, change curtain, fix and finish some small things. Room and bathroom a bit small but has a nice veranda Elevator needs ventilation. Great bathroom all new!
Nikos the manager/owner was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful with directions of how to get to Athens. Free use of internet. Room was good, modern and clean, as was bathroom. Breakfast was good, fruit, yoghurt, Croissants, cereal and bacon and egg.
Nothing really. a barking dog on one night was the only thing
The Hotel is very nice and I liked that it is indeed very close to the beach. The room is cleaned every day and they change the towels daily too. The Manager is absolutely great, he will provide every assistance you will need. Great view, to the sea.
I would have liked the breakfast to be more diverse as Greek products are certainly available (cheese, olives, fish, fresh vegetables were missing). It is the same every day, although it is good. Close to the hotel are some night clubs and especially during the weekend the noise can bother you a lot if you want to sleep with your window open. I have no problems with this, but if you do have such problems, you better ask for a room with a view to the other side, the pool.
