Very pleasant people...

A very pleasant surprise. NNew hotel, nice, well equipped, with very welcoming staff. Direct access to the beach and shopping area. Good breakfast. Parking near the hotelului.Un pleasant place to accommodate you.

The staff were friendly and responsive to our queries, but ultimately they couldn't change the fundamental problems of the hotel (comfort, location). It was worth paying 20 € more per night and stay somewhere nicer. Still, if you're on a tight budget, it is a reasonable choice for Paralia.

Hard mattresses, small double bed, on a very noisy intersection, breakfast with undrinkable juice and 'mystery meat'.

Tropicana is excellently located, 200 m from the beach, not too close (so it is quiet and you can rest during the night), and also not too far (you can hit the beach in 2-3 min walk). Everything is sparkling clean and looks freshly new, a real family business venture, owners are very dedicated, polite and experienced. Our stay at Tropicana was really excellent, our kids liked it so much, we extended by 1 day at the end. Breakfast is good and consistent, served by owners at hotel's very nice terrace. Wireless internet works perfectly everywhere, there are good parking spots aside at the hotel, or across, where it looks is like a public parking, and there are a lot of parking places available (if you choose locations closer to the beach like first 2 rows of buildings, you will have real trouble parking in this resort). Not to mention the hotel has an elevator, we used it only for the check in/out for luggages. So, our stay at Tropicana was really excellent, very good value for the money, the owners are really nice and professional.

It is an excellent hotel. The staff was great! We do not have any complaints as we received from our stay what we expected according to the class of hotel and the excellent reviews on booking.com. We will definitely return to this hotel.

I don't think I can say anything bad about this hotel. Everything was perfect, from the hospitality of the personnel to breakfast and room cleaning. We must say that the family that runs this business are the nicest people we've ever met. Hospitality is the main word for this place. The location is ideal, a quiet zone, just a few steps away from shops, a mini-market and the beach and you have free parking just across the street. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who desires a wonderful vacation in Paralia Katerinis.

it's close to see, clean, staff is helpful.

The staff were simply fantastic. We had no trouble whatsoever when we wanted to change our room. We were even given essentially a triple bedroom for the price of a double. They even gave us a lift to Katerini when we were stuck for transport. Very polite and friendly people. The cleanliness is second to none and we were very impressed! They even tidied up our mess, e.g. folded our clothes and ordered all the random small things neatly in groups! We were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are simple and finished up to a high standard and so are the bathrooms. Very nice to relax in, especially with the shutters closed against the scorching heat outside. The hotel is literally 50 seconds away from the nicest part of the central beach, yet it is quiet and away from the noise. Supermarkets and all else are at your doorstep. Perfect location. We had a fantastic time in Paralia Katerini and we are definitely going back to Tropicana the next time we visit.

The thing that did not impress us at all was the breakfast. It was too little and exactly the same every day. We liked neither the coffee nor the juice. But mind you, I think they generally do not have much breakfast in Greece anyway. In addition, the breakfast in Tropicana was still way better than that at another Greek hotel where we stayed next in Thessaloniki. I guess it was relatively good after all. The only other thing was the pillows. They were not comfortable and both my friend and I woke up every day with a stiff neck. Minor issues though. We had a brilliant time in Tropicana overall!

Dieses Hotel besticht durch seine Sauberkeit. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gründlich gereinigt und auch der Rest des Hotels war absolut pefekt sauber. Die Lage finde ich optimal. Nicht direkt an der lauten Hauptstraße aber trotzdem ist man in fünf Minuten im Zentrum oder am Strand. Parkplätze sind auf öffentlichen Plätzen direkt vorm Haus ausreichend verfügbar. WLAN war im kompletten Hotelbereich empfangbar und es war noch dazu ein sehr schnelles. Für das Frühstück bekam jeder Gast seine eigene Wurst- Käseplatte, Marmeladen sowie Eier bzw abundzu auch ein Omelett, O-Saft und Kaffee.Wir waren damit sehr zufrieden. Ein besonderen Dank noch an das Ehepaar die dieses Hotel führen, sie hatten immer ein offenes Ohr für unsere vielen Fragen über den Ort bzw. Griechenland. Fazit: Wenn wir wieder nach Paralia kommen dann definitiv dieses Hotel

I absolutely loved the hotel. It is sparkingly clean, everything is polished and tidied to perfection. The location is excellent, it is really two minutes walk to the beach and the main street and there is a supermarket across the street. Also, if you are lucky to have your room on the side of the football field, there is no other building facing your balcony and you have a view over the mountain. The breakfast was delicious and quite quite plentiful. And most important of all, the family who runs the hotel is among the kindest people, I've met in Greece, helpful and accommodating. Some f them speak German, some English, no problem with communication. I would definitely recomment the hotel to any friend, who is going to Paralia.

Hotelul Tropicana fata de alte hoteluri din Paralia Katerinis este un hotel decent,curat, cu personal serviabil,excelent pentru tranzit.

μου αρεσε η εξυπηρετηση, η ευγενεια των ανθρωπων του ξενοδοχειου ,η καθαριοτητα και το καλο πρωινο. το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα και σε παρεες φιλων αλλα και σε οικογενειες.

Service

Desi hotelul era foarte aproape de plaja, acesta era situat intr-o zona destul de linistita. Deasemenea, ne-a impresionat amabilitatea staff-ului . O surpriza placuta a fost existenta liftului.

Micul dejun a fost indestulator dar, cam monoton. Deasemenea, am fi preferat existenta mai multor sortimente de pâine: prajita, neagra, chifle, batoane, eventual niste produse de patiserie. Au lipsit la micul dejun legumele proaspete: rosii, castraveti, ardei. Camera pentru 3 persoane ( cum a fost in cazul nostru) era mult prea mică.

Curatenia, personalul

nagyon tiszta, légkondicionált, kedves személyzet, tengerpart 150m-re van, bár az a rész nagyon zsúfolt, mi kb 1km-re elsétáltunk, ott sokkal csendesebb, tisztább strandok vannak

reggeli elég szegényes, kicsit zajos, de ez majdnem egész Paraliara jellemző

Nagyon jó helyen található! A teraszról még a tengert is látni lehet!A szoba nagyon tiszta és kényelmes!Na meg,hogy van klíma és redőny, még pihenni is lehetett, annak ellenére,hogy milyen élet volt az utcákon!!

A fost frumos, o ambianta placuta un personal ospitalier si amabil, curatenie mic dejun bun, o parcare generoasa in fata hotelului aproape de plaja.

Tropicana este un hotel primitor si linistit. Ne-a placut pozitionarea hotelului, intr-un loc linistit, intr-o statiune animata cum este Paralia. Personalul hotelului este foarte amabil, zambitor si creaza si ei o atmosfera placuta si primitoare. Am fost foarte multumiti de toate conditiile puse la dispozitie si de faptul ca au fost atenti la nevoile noastre, avand in vedere ca am fost in concediul cu baietelul noastru de 1 an si 4 luni. Zilnic se facea curatenie iar la doua zile se schimbau lejeria si prosoapele. Ne-a placut si terasa unde se servea miculdejun pentru ca era in aer liber. Mi-a placut ca erau peste tot flori si arbusti ornamentali si ca erau foarte bine ingrijite. Acest lucru dadea un aer placut si elegant hotelului. Ne-a placut de asemenea ca aveam spatiu de parcare a masinii chiar linga hotel. Ne bucuram ca am ales acest hotel si atunci cand o sa mai revenim in aceasta zona o sa il alegem, cu siguranta.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, hotel is extremely clean although not especially modern furnished. Additionally I would like to mention the amazing view to Mount Olympus.

The near roads are quite busy.
