Only one complaint: the WiFi was lousy, but then perhaps it helped us enjoy our holiday.
Generally everything ok. On arrival we were assigned a room on the ground floor, looking directly on the swimming pool and the hotel's bar, so I feared it would be a bit noisy at night and asked to be moved to another room. A very kind receptionist gave us another room, with a balcony overlooking an olive grove. A nice view, complete silence, amazing starlit sky, with the extra bonus of a rooster that sang every morning at dawn, with the clock regularity of once every 12 seconds, five times a minute on average, roughly 300 times an hour... I DON'T mean to complain, we were looking for a touch of authentic Cretan countryside, and we found it :)
