Close to Skala's sandy beach, this charming hotel offers affordable accommodations. It lies in a peaceful location just a 5 minute walk from the restaurants and local taverns.

Most of the elegant rooms at Vasilaras Hotel are situated on the fringe of the island's extensive pine forest and many offer sea views. Each room has been carefully designed and decorated with your comfort in mind. A delicious continental breakfast is included in your rate and provides a great start to the day.

The hotel's peaceful location allows you the option of having a relaxing day or enjoying the nearby nightlife. A 5 minute walk from the hotel will take you to the sandy beach or Skala's lively center, with its great variety of bars and beaches.

Soak up the atmosphere in Vasilaras' friendly, family-run taverna, which has an excellent reputation with both locals and guests.

Apart from the Continental Breakfast that is included in the price of the room, there are also other breakfasts available from the hotel's menu.

The family-run taverna and bar surrounds the fresh seawater pool. Enjoy drinks and cocktails among the romantic surroundings, or treat yourself to a meal from the extensive Greek and European menu. Live music entertainment and barbecues are held on a weekly basis, throughout the summer months.

Room information

The double, twin and family rooms have balconies that overlook the sea to the neighboring island of Aegina or the hotel grounds. The rooms have showers and separate kitchens.

The Sea and Mountain View Double Superior rooms contain either their own private Jacuzzi or bathtub, with overhead showers. Guests can choose from a view of the sea or Agistris famous pine covered hills.

The Maisonettes are beautifully furnished, with sea or mountain views. They have a spacious bedroom with private bathroom with Jacuzzi and a shower. The sitting room, alongside its comforting and romantic fireplace, has a dining area off the kitchen. You will also find a second shower room on the lower floor.

Please note that smoking is only allowed on the balcony.

Maria and her daughter were so attentive to every need, so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Maria herself is a superb cook and every meal was both inexpensive and delicious.You feel very spoilt when fish is caught and delivered to your plate fresh every day, even freshly caught lobster is available! Agistri is such a relaxing island with good beaches, friendly people and with a hire scooter (10 euros per day) many places to visit. Very safe friendly family orientated environment. Very near seaside and town center. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and children could play freely. My daughter and I felt welcome and very well cared for. Many of the other families had returned to Vasilaras for many years, we felt we had found a great place. We made many friends and we will return. The Island is very authentic not full of party seeking Brits! It's peacefull and not very comercial. My daughter chose the Island, it was ideal for our vacation. The marble steps down to our apartment were slippy when wet, I slipped down them and hurt myself, one other person did the same thing.
