- Perfect location: everything is within walking distance (bars, taverns, shops, small art galleries, the port, the beach) - The charm of a 500 year old house (and patio): first it felt a little claustrophobic, then it was just cosy and very welcoming. A home away from home, and a shelter from the strong winds during our stay. - Beautiful details: antiques, traditional curtains... very tastefully equipped.
- Beautiful bed, but a little small. Mattress could be more comfortable.
Location in the old town means that everything is accessible without being in the centre of the holiday apartments, so it is both quiet and central. The host is very enthusiastic and always keen to help, which makes the experience even better. Rooms are airy and plesant to be in.
Nothing that I could say we didn't like, but that's not to say some things might not be a problem for some guests. Bathroom is clean and suited us, but is relatively basic. Also, if in the studio, noise from the neighbouring apartment can travel, but that's easily remedied.
This was our third stay at Venetiko. We love the light and airy top floor apartment, and the location.
Would be great if to add a small pan and a kettle to kitchen equipment
Location, Room, Beautiful courtyard garden, the owner came to meet me at the dock.
Some better instructions about checking out would have been good. Written instructions in English would have been helpful, as owners English was not great.
Very beautiful place ( small garden)
Very attentive host - lent us a guidebook and DVD, and brought us home made jam. Great central location, charmingly furnished.
Mattresses could be more comfortable.
The location and settings was fabulous. We were close to the town but quietly tucked away. The building was lovely and the owner had made it really special.
Venetiko Apartments is a beautiful place to stay at with amazing staff that show great hospitality. I recommend the place for anyone who wants to experience living inside the small white traditional greek-island houses.
I loved the location right in the heart of the old town labyrinth, the patio was out of this world and my room was perfect.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Comfortable accommodation and well located for all the facilities of the town. Traditional Greek decor and pretty courtyard with flowers. Apartment is compact so book one for three persons if you are a couple. The owner was helpful.
No privacy if sitting in the courtyard.
We were a couple travelling to Naxos and we loved the furniture in the room. It was right near the castle and walking near the narrow streets was incredible.
It was hard to find.
- owner was friendly and collected us from the port - beautiful little apartment with a functional kitchen with all the equipment you need
- hotel is a little hard to find, down some small alleys in the old town - wifi was weak in some parts of the apartment e.g. the bedroom
Location to the castle and Venetian museum. Picturesque setting in the old town. Pleasant courtyard to sit or eat in.
Shower facility awkward like many others in Greece accommodation.
Small courtyard, no privacy.
Fantastic location and great little apartment. The owner was very helpful and even gave us some delicious homemade marmalade.
Very cute and comfortable studio in the old town gives you the real feeling of living in Naxos. Walkable to town and buses too.
The owner was very friendly hand helpful. Location can't be beat, in the old town section of Chora, easy waling distance to tavernas and shops. Courtyard outside our room was lovely, and we spent much of our time out there.
"Family room" is small for 4; would be OK for 3, and I think rooms for 2 are fine. Given how inexpensive the rooms are, we should have just booked 2 double rooms.
We had a wonderful welcome from the host who met us at the port. We loved sitting in the courtyard garden with easy access to the old town and all it's facilities and restaurants. Our host provided fruit and jam from his farm as well as information about Naxos. A wonderful oasis.
The beds have been to hard. We decided to change our accomodation after one night. If they change beds, it would be a good place to stay in a historic building.
Close to shopping & waterfront restaurants. Our studio was in a bldg believed to date back to the 1500; it was very quaint with modern conveniences.
Part of town where one could easily get lost. It is a maze of alleys in Old Town. Need to take advantage of pick up at port, for it is too difficult to find on your own. We were promised a 2th key which we never received. Management is not on site. You either have to call or send e mail.
Good location - in old town. Authentic appartments.
Very little, but well equiped kitchen. Windows are opened to courtyard, so if you want some privacy, you have to close windows and shutters. Plus, most of them are on the basement level. May be due to the season (end of april), the appartment was very wet and cold. All our clothers, even in the bags, became wet. It was so uncomfortable climate in the room, that we avoid being there.
Wonderful old apartments situated in the old town. Host is brilliant. Everything is within a stones throw the port, traditional bakery, sites, the castle, shops. Miss it already and can't wait to return
Venetiko Apartments, located in the "Old Town" of Naxos were just amazing. Over 500 years old, beautifully preserved and presented. They were perfectly located to the port, local restaurants, shops and local amenities. We would recommend them to anyone travelling to Naxos, especially if you like a warm welcome, personalised service, attention to detail, cleanliness and exceptional accommodation. We would stay here again in a heart beat - just perfect!
Although the check in was supposed to be only until 11pm, we had to arrive around 4am because of a strike in the port of Athens, and we were picked up in the port at this time. (it was bad that we only new in the last minute that we actually would have the transfer and chance to check in, but in the end there he was waiting for us). The building is especially charming, a house with typical architecture of Naxos.
The location is not very easy to find because the streets of Naxos are small and confusing like a maze. It would be a problem if we had to go there by ourselves, but because the transfer from the port is included in the price, it was not really an issue. In the end it was good to spend one night in the middle of this charming town, and getting a little lost in the small streets is part of the experience.
Location is quite convenient – in the old town near the Castro. If you go by ship there is no need to think about transfer as the hotel can be reached easily by foot from the port (if you don’t have a lot of luggage of course). Owner Vagelis met me at the port even though I had made my reservation late night before the day of arrival. Hotel is located in historic building and you can find in the rooms some vintage things, including furniture. My apartment was on the second floor and had balcony with nice view to the yard. Room is very clean, comfortable and cozy, traditionally designed. Wi-Fi is fast and stable. No any problem with hot water. To tell the truth no any problem with anything at all – everything works right way at this hotel. The owner pays personal attention to each his guest. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Feeling was like at home.
