Villa Evgenia

All the reviews that I have read before I booked this hotel were true. According to this me and my bf we enjoyed the swimming pool especially the fact we were alone almost all the time at the swimming pool area and loved the water. The room was all right with a reasonable comfy bed and a nice little balcony overlooking another pool from the neighbours hotel. We got to the airport and no one was witing for us but we managed to contact George the owner and he came to give us a lift.

The bathroom was appauling: very narrow with a squiky door that woke us up every time we used the loo in the night. The shower cabin very small, no hook for the shower, hot water ran out quickly so by the time my bf wanted to take a shower he ended up in using only cold water. The toilet had problems flushing Regarding the Wifi you should be careful as it has a limited range (15m) so we had to shiver in the cold outside every night until late to be able to have internet access which is restricted to the outside lounge area. The villa itself is about 15 min walk away from the town centre and you have to put up with the narrow and crowded roads when you come home. I wouldnt recomend it for honeymoon or people that have problems with long walks and distances. Pricewise on the streets you can buy 1 peach and 2 plums for 3.5 Euros (Harrods sux)

The manager George is nice and efficient. The best part is that he is accomondating and will pick up/drop off guests at port/airport if his schedule allows. The hotel is 10 min walk to town and at the quieter edge of town.

The bathroom of the room we stayed in was too small. The show stall was bearily big enough for people to turn inside and we are petite women. George recommands the Wine Musuem which was not that great of value for money.

The staff, Giorgio the receptionist, was extremely kind, giving us all sorts of information around the area and helping us with everything we needed, On top of that, he drove us to our ferry back to Athens. The hotel is charming and well located

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room with lovely balcony. In a quiet location. Lovely little pool. Very relaxed and informal small hotel. Nice to have a fridge in the room.

Basic shower unit and room just a bit on the small side

the room is small. breakfast is poor, for kids, a small bowl of cereal changed 5 euro. long distance walk from the centre, not easy to find it.

Pool, cleanliness, close location to Fira, hospitable staff, easy access to internet.

Georg ist sehr bemüht seinen Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Nette Ruhige Anlage.

Il personale è molto gentile. George è simpatico e disponibile. La piscina è piacevole e tranquilla. La pulizia è buona. La colazione è normalissima, ma è 5 euro a testa extra prezzo della camera. Non conviene più di tanto.

Il bagno è davvero ai minimi termini, quando si fa la doccia si allaga completamente. E' abbastanza lontano dal centro di Fira, e l'alternativa è : o percorrere la main road molto stretta e trafficatissima (perciò, dal momento che viaggiavo sola con mio figlo di 10 anni, con un bambino è decisamente pericoloso) o fare una passeggiata anche piacevole, ma di un quarto d'ora e in salita sotto il...

We werden opgehaald bij de haven. De accomodatie zag er van de buitenkant erg leuk uit, mooie stoelen bij het zwembad, leuke bankjes rondom de kamers.

De wc stonk nogal en de badkamer was erg klein.

Η καθαριότητα του ξενοδοχείου και το ότι η περιοχή είναι πολύ ήσυχη.

Το μπάνιο είναι πολύ μικρό και άβολο αλλά για μια μικρή διαμονή αυτό δεν αποτελεί πρόβλημα.
