a quiet, uncrowded small town with taverns by the sea; I went to "Kontra Flocos" 3 nights out of 7 because everything I ate was amazing;the fresh swordfish was amazing!
At Ideal Greek Taverna-Pizzeria I ate a pizza prepared on the spot better than in Italy !

Kokkini Hani is a very quiet little village.
Kokkini Hani is a very quiet little village. The only noice the airplanes, but see them landing makes you feel like you are on holiday on a beautiful island. It's part of Kokkini Hani. Kids will love the planes. Worth to try the local tavernas, where service is homey and kind. Greek traditional food is delicious, local people are so kind. Atmosphere is very relaxed. I felt time has stopped for a week :)

Peaceful village but with easy communication with Heraklion.
Peaceful village but with easy communication with Heraklion. Several travel agencies, car rentals, a lot of restaurants and fast food, among others, Taverna Pratsínis with a charming garden, where you can dine under the shade of citrus trees, is worth recommending. A pub with cheap food ΓΙΑΝΝΗΣ on Annapolis St with a very nice owner, tasty and cheap fast-food - Fwlia pizza grill house and many more. Several medium-sized supermarkets. There is a large holiday resort, the beaches are rather poor and better crowded ... Nirou excavation attraction closed despite opening hour's information.

This was such an amazing villa , as gorgeous as the photos show . If you turn left out of the villa walk to the end of the road and turn left there is a small supermarket and a coffee shop opposite ( 4 min walk ) , if you carry down to the end of that road there are a few shops , bars and restaurants . If you turn right at bottom of road outside pizza shack there is a bus stop which will take you to hassonisos- lively touristy town massive recommendation restaurant called FRESH . 2 euros each per journey .
If you turn left and walk down to seafront from Willa lovely restaurant called JOZ .
We got a taxi to water city ( water park ) from villa - 10 minutes .

We didn’t walk much outside the hotel but it didn’t feel like there was much to see. The are a few mini markets, pharmacy, and ATMs and a beach. It seems like a place for resorts, nothing much other than that.

Beautiful and clean apartment. Directly located at the beach with an amazing terrace to relax and a stunning view. Enough space for 5 people. Dimitris was a great host from the start of our journey (contact via whatsapp) till departure, we could contact him anytime we needed something, got great tips (next supermarket, beach bar, restaurants, taverns, etc.), apartment got cleaned during our stay while we explored crete. All in all our expectations were exceeded, can only recommend!
Due to a booking mistake we were transferred to their sister property Anemos suites. We never saw Anemos Inn. The staff at the suites couldn’t be more helpful and friendly! We stayed for 3 nights after an international flight . It could not have been a better place to rest and prepare for our vacation on Crete. Nice beach 100m away. many places to eat nearby and a 10 minute bus ride into Heraklion.
Nothing to complain about especially the staff upon arrival who is very welcoming. The resort is very well kept, very large and nice rooms, a large selection and good food from the buffet.
The facilities exceeded our expectations especially the pool area and even you can have excess to the nice beach Infront of the hotel.
Surely will have to visit again!!
The hotel has a great location, very close to the airport, but also in a quieter beach area. The pool was superb, but also the beach was very close. We moved around a lot by car, for which the hotel was a perfect start, they provided parking space free of charge, and there were several rental services close by.
Nice swimming pool, quiet area, which is near the bus stop and supermarkets, stores and restaurants. You can order nice food and drinks at the hotel restaurant too. The room was spacious with everything you might need, but the chairs were a little uncomfortable. The beds, however, were comfortable.
Julie is a great person and she had great recommendations on places to eat and visit, both locally and in Crete. Just ask her and she will tell you everything. The kitchenette is well equipped with everything you need for a trip. We were well received by Julie, who made us feel welcome.
The rooms were quite big and spacious with a private balcony outside. The staff of the hotel is VERY helpful and super nice - they helped us with any request and even a late check in. The hotel is very close to the airport so good if you have an early flight next day.
Loved the location opposite the beach and with lots of small restaurants nearby. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic - fresh and cooked really well with amazing choice for a smallish hotel. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.
The most important thing to said is the amazing and beautiful people working there. María and the test of the staff makes us felt very comfortable. Very kindness and the best persons in Crete. We ended up feeling like our home.
very nicely furnished room with a view of the pool and the sea! There is no beach directly in front of the hotel, but you can still get into the sea via stairs! the breakfast was good and the staff friendly!
The owners are lovely. They welcomed us warmly late at night and gave useful advice as to where and how we could spend the rest of the holiday in Crete.
The location is close to the beach (about 150m).
The view is fantastic - right in front of the beach, and the sand was pleasant to touch.
The food was OK and varied. The food in the nearby restaurants to the hotel was also delicious.
Staff was very nice, and we really liked that hotel had its own beach, even though a small one. Food was delicious. Swimming pool and area next to it was nice and modern.
The hotel was excellent; everything was well-organized, the food was delicious and varied, the drinks were excellent, and the staff was incredibly helpful and kind.
We loved the private beach, sun beds by the pool with great music, delicious frape from the hotel beach bar, friendly staff members, and equipped apartment.
