Score from 127 reviews Good
Nice room, as we stayed in Grand hotel Murano, except Villa Murano (same boss), perhaps closed because of end of season!
A bit far from centrum of Fira! Leaving at 11am and not 12 and not very available staff!
Simple decent hotel, friendly staff
The pool was small and right next to the road
Location, parking availability and receptionist.
Room was small with just beds. Washroom was also small, and was old style.
I very much appreciated the pre-arrival follow up emails from Adrianne that way, I was assured that they were expecting us as well as a friendly hello and goodbye from the pick up and drop-off. The location is quite good to watch the beautiful sunrise and how the moon reflects on the water...Magnificent :) It is near a mini market and a lovely restaurant that serves great meals. There was a good and strong WIFI connection.
Kindly provide a mop or broom for the bathroom especially since it is small. Perhaps also consider putting additional sockets or at least an extension for the rooms with multiple guests
Reception counter is extremely friendly.
The air conditioner in my room was not functioning. Wifi is only available in certain location.
Staff was helpful
We asked for a double bed and instead we had to push to single beds together with a relatively wide space separating the two beds.
Free pickup and drop off from port to airport
On a busy road
1) no air conditioner We stayed here for two nights. They said the air conditioner has broken. It is impossible to fix that during our stay. We asked for another room. They said all rooms are reserved. It's impossible to change. We asked for two fans. They said no, only one fans. Hence, we needed to open the window slightly in case the room temperture is too high to sleep. But.... 2) terrible Mosquitos There were a lot of Mosquitos to come inside. We were bitten. My arms and legs have a lot of red spots. After I was bitten, the allerge come to me. Now, it's five days afte stay. My arms and legs still itch. How can we have a great stay under that situation?
Angela was very sweet and helpful. The owner was super nice too. Free transfer from and to the airport. Walking distance to Fira Center. Sun at the pool in the mornings.
Noisy because of cars. Pool is right next to the street. A lot of Mosquitos at night. A bit hard to find when walking around. No shop or supermarket nearby to get snacks or coffee.
Good location and port transfers
Lots of Mosquitos at night and wifi wasn't too good unless you stood right outside the office
No credit card facility.
- Moderalty far from downtown (10mn walking through the city, even if part of the road is a bit dangerous)
- Small rooms, with little ventilation and strange noises all the night from the bathroom - Very bad air conditionning - Minimalistic and non-fonctionnal bathroom - Dirty swimming pool with muyky and troubled waters - Dangerous road to cross, with noise all day long - Free Airport Transer: arrived 45 mn late! We experienced several hotels in Santorini island, this is definitely the worst one! (guys, this should cost 20€ max per night !)
Hotel with a strategic position, just few minutes walking for the downtown. Some rooms have the sea view even if in front of the hotel there are not so nice landscape.
Breakfast: not included and very poor with low low quality of products (yogurt second rate, buiscuits old and not fresh, no fruits, no milk, just a cup of tea) Rooms: very norrow and tiny, no any chance to manage the luggage inside. Reception: basically not opened 24h, not furnished (no printer), and not kind with no any attention to customers (they brought us 4hr before the flight cause they had other customer to pick up)
Has a good pool & great staff
Wifi dose not work in the rooms only at reception, not right in the heart of the nightclub area about a 10 minute walk, had a cold shower everyday
Location too far
Its not too far from the centre
Mosquitos came into our room, many bites on my face The shower area didn't have a shower curtain so all of the bathroom floor would get wet
The price for santorini was decent
We got there at about 8 o'clock at night and checked in. I had specifically booked a room with a private balcony, 1 double bed. What we got was a room with 3 single beds and no balcony. When you walk out of the room you are immediately facing a very busy road with lots of traffic. The booking also said breakfast included, which there isn't even a coffee maker to have some coffee in the morning. An overall let down that I wouldn't recommend to anyone!
The price for Santorinin was unbeatable. Location OK as it was a 10-minute walk to Fira centre, though some of it uphill. Small pool but again worth it in the unrelenting daytime sun. Large-ish room with double bed, shower-WC, towels, etc. However the best thing & worth a lot is the pick-up & lift to & from the port located at the southern end of the island. The receptionist Angelika was small, cute & helpful - her restaurant tips should be listened to as her advice on Oia, which was true!
On Santorini, visitors don't go to lounge around in hotels - that's a waste of time & money. No breakfast was a drawback, but meant getting up & going into Thira for it by the cable car overlooking the caldera, which isn't so bad. Watch out for mosquitoes too. The sune came streaming in at sunrise in the little window high near the ceiling - the only one which did not have double glazing with a blind! Otherwise, no complaints at all. Just small negatives.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. This was the only place we stayed with an actual double bed, compared to the two singles other places offered. There was a swimming pool which I wasn't expecting. Great value for money! Great view! I would stay here again! Thanks so much!
Angela was very nice and really helpful!
Villa Murano is located right next to a busy street and with the constant island traffic, it made it difficult to sleep. It is a good 5 to 10 minute uphill walk to town, depending where you are going. The bathroom was old, rusty and small, so everything would get wet when you showered and there was no place to put your clothes. There was also no soap or shampoo. Luckily, Angela had some at reception, which she gave us to use. The bed linens were dirty. We could not tell if the stains were rust marks or dried blood. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and we would definitely not stay here again.
Angela was really helpful in helping us settle in. She's friendly and resourceful, as well as concise in giving us the directions to the town centre.
Poor bathroom drainage.
The room wasn't clean. Very small swimming pool. The hotel was close to the highway!
Nice personels well for its price Service for airport
Little bit far from fira Bathrooms should be more clean
-receptionist was very helpful. gave us advice for places to visit. helped us open the umbrella next to the pool. gave us extra towels and fork when we asked for in the evening. -nice view even though it was too close to the main street. -nice outdoor environment for leisure.
-the owner was rude and mean to the receptionist in front of the tenants. -the owner the customers´ passport/ID and didn't give it back until they paid. (not legal) -Some tenants argued about the price since they didn't have hot water and the owner told them that he will not give them back their passports unless they give the full amount. -the swimming pool is tiny
Angela was really kind an helpful!
