It is close to the center of Fira and at the same time it is quiet and calm. It is geting cleaned every two days. Also there is a small swimming pool. Finally there is a basic (not something special) brekfast included in the price. It is ok, not something special but not bad. According to my opinion it should be a bit less expensive in order to obdain better value for money. The staff was not always available. Upon our arrival there was nobody at the reception and we had to call the manager in order to get directions from the phone to our room. It was incovenient with all the laguages and after the 9h trip from Piraeus. Next day we were brought back from the beach in order to move again to another room. It is unaccetable and unprofesional not to be met by anyone, and not to have anyone to (at least) voluntear to help with laguages. I would recomend it under circumnstances for travellers that want basic accomodation, and not without second thought.

My kids enjoyed the small swimming pool right next to our room. The cleaning lady was very kind and provided all we need during our stay. Bath room was comfortable and large. 1. We would like to mention that we were upset when arrived at the hotel, after walking under the hot sun dragging big suit cases and kids. Our information from the staff was not matched and we walked much more than what we really need. Thus It will be best, before booking, to check that there will be shuttle services for the time you arrive there. When we were leaving, the hotel provided a shuttle and it was much better. 2. Cave house was small for our family and was not comfortable for us because there is no window and air circulation during the night. 3. At that night, there were some guys next to the swimming pool, drinking, laughing and talking loud, thus we were not sleeing well.

The swimming pool is great to relax. You can hear the old wooden doors slap in the morning and in addition to this there is a young hostel next to the hotel and it's very noisy at night. People make noise in the swimming pool at night. The owner came to our room 5 minutes before of the checking out time. We almost ran out toilet paper and they did not replaced it. We put one towel on floor because it was stained but the did no change it.

Near the main street It was an horrible experience. For this trip, we have booked 5 hotels by Booking.com and this was the only one that we can't recommend to anyone. First of all, we've confirmed our arriving by email two days before, but John wasn't in the airport to pick up us and didn't give us any appologies. The staff, John, was very unkind and impolite. He didn´t give any information for us about the hotel or the town. The bathroom gets all wet after the shower and they didn´t changed our towel. They quarrelled loud in the reception for 3 times when we were trying to rest in the room at the afternoon. It was very unpleasant. Didn't accept credit card

Excellent and helpful owner. Gave advice about the island. Location was good, a few minutes walk to buses and to the amazing Thira views. The pool was very small but nice, but in the morning there is no sun and can be a bit cold. Also, very affordable rates for a city that is notoriously expensive for tourists. Buffet breakfast was not very large, but was decent for a start in the morning.

Fair price for the centric location. And the hotel manager (clerk) speaks fluent English (doesn't happen in all hotels in Greece) and was very nice and good in giving us touristic places to visit. The swimming pool was open for us since they were painting it, we were offered another swimming pool of the hotel next to us that we could use but we did not feel comfortable with that arrangement. Also the location of the hotel is close to the center but you have to walk a lot up and down on stairs from the main road to the hotel. Also the bathroom was very nice, clean and new but no shower curtains, I would have definitely appreciated it if there were shower curtains.

We only had one night, as part of our journey back to the uk from Naxos. Being met and ferry, and being taken to airport was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The position was excellent for easy access to great views, restaurants etc. The view from the balcony was good. The price was very reasonable too.

We spent 4 nights in Villa Popi and established a great connection with the staff. Otherwise the place was properly located, quiet and at the same time central. It's a great deal considering the price. I would stay there again. Just would like to had a proper place for showering without transforming the whole bathroom in a swimming pool. A small investment would spread wi-fi coverage to all the rooms - however it was announced that it would only work in common areas and so it happens.

For the price, this hotel had it all! Breakfast, Free Shuttle for the port, location (next to Caldera, next to central bus station), clean and basic. What else does someone need? Of course, for those that like staying at a hotel all day it is not for you.

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable stuff. Beautiful pool. I particularly like its location that it's buried right in the residential zone of Fira which makes you feel like you live there every time you walk to or from the hotel. If possible, ask for the rooms in the back. Those rooms have pretty awesome view of the sea hidden behind the hotel with a spacious common terrace to enjoy. The beds are a bit flat and thin which needs some getting use to. The Wi-Fi connection in the lobby is a bit unreliable but not much of a big deal.

The hotel arranged a transfer from the port, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and a good size, and the hotel had a nice breakfast area and the pool though small was appreciated. It wasn't too long a walk from the town centre and cliff edge. We also got a good price.

Location is good, walk around 8-10min to Fira city but there are many steps before go to hotel, it's not convenience if you take heavy luggage. Small pool is nice but behind the hotel, no sunbath. The receptionist is nice and helpful. Can't connect wifi everytime. The bed is too soft and noisy.

Good value for money. Good location in town. Service was good and free transfers to and from port is an added bonus. If you are looking for something cheap and cheerful this hotel is worth a look. The walls are thin so you can hear people walking around and opening and closing doors especially at night. Our bathroom was small.
