Cleanliness Breakfast Free transfer to Santorini Airport Popi at reception :-)
The staff was very kind.We had a nice balcony with view over landscape and sea in the east. We just stayed overnight.
The hotel is well located in Fira, close to the center, but still quiet. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They always keep the place clean and tidy. Very good price (including breakfast) !
Wifi only works in the reception room.
good localization, good price benefit
Very friendly staff ...very clear sunrise from room no 5 balcony .we stay on October ,rate are very worth to stay.will introduce more friend...
Friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. Extremely close to main square, cable car. Clean rooms.
the location was very good. The pool was very nice to have since it was so hot out. Short walk to everything!
I had booked online... the rate changed because I wasn't a student!? They over charged me for another day. When I arrived I wanted to add on a few more days. The receptionist said no more days then she let me stay for 7 nights. She did this to other travelers. Not sure why?
Nice sea views, quiet room
Airport/port transfers don't start until 11am
Staff very friendly and try to please Shuttle to and from port provided
The price was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to everything in Fira!
We were in a room right off the lobby. Great for wifi but the crowds got noisy in the morning when having the free breakfast. If possible, request a room farther away from the lobby.
Sea view from the balcony.
We booked double room in Villa Popi with extra crib for 1 year old baby. As our special request we wrote „we will arrive with 1 year old baby, so we'll need a crib”. When we entered the room after check-in, in the room wasn't the crib. We asked why but young girl from reception all the time laughed and said that they have only 1 crib and now somebody else exploit it. We proposed extra pay for a crib if they borrow it from the other hotel (although the crib was included in the price of the room). After few houers receptionis and the owner said that it is not possibly to borrow the crib and we have to connect two beds and sleep on the edges of the bed with the baby in the middle. It is unaccepted. I rent the room and I can sleep wherever I want (even in the toilet). I don't need advices like that. In effect we didn't sleep 2 night because we had to be very careful, baby cried almost all the nights and nudged us. For us it was the same situation like room whitout bed. They shouldn't booked room with crib if they have only the one and somebody else booked it earlier or they should send us message about it. The staff is not serious.
The owner is very very good as she provided us a very good service and helped us a lot. Really thank you for the extra check out time!
This hotel was a good value for your money since Santorini is onw of the most expensive places in Greece. The staff was very friendly.
It was confusing to arrive at first to this hotel. It is kind of hidden in the narrow streets of Santorini and the are not signs with the name of the hotel.
Relaxing pool area with great view of bay & sunset.
Info on bus options could have been clearer.
We loved our family unit situated behind the swimming pool which was well laid out and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was within walking distance to the centre .The old part of the building gave Villa Popi that feeling of old world charm. Well done!
We were not to excited about the breakfast.Cereal is not a traditional meal in Greece .Yoghurt and honey -------mmmmm. Just a thought!
The hotel is situated in the center, 3-5min walking distance. The lady in the reception is really nice! She told us where to go. Although the room is small, it is so cosy and we had a very good sleep. When you open the door, you can see the sea already! And great value! It is better to stay in fira than oia, as it is much cheaper, and there are buses going back and forth between fira and oia! ( unil 12pm). Will definitely stay in this hotel next time.
Poor connection of internet. And the toilet is quite dark.
Pleasant, attentive and caring by the administrator at the reception.
not a stable Wi-Fi! permanently lost contact. little bit poor breakfast
Really nice stuff and excellent location
The breakfast was to basic, no fruits and if you wanted water you needed to ask for. The baby bed was in very bad conditions. Difficult to find the hotel, there are no directions.
The location was great and only a couple of minutes from Fira town centre and to the bus station which will take you to the rest of the island.
We had a basement room which had no light as the shutters were locked. The beds were not comfortable and there was mould on the walls. I emailed the hotel 3 times to ask about the free transfer service from the port but they never responded so we had to get a taxi which was €25.
The noise- you could hear every conversation that was going on outside your door
It had a small pool and loungers which was great. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was great. Location was good. Only a hop slop and a jump to the caldera. There was no view but I knew that when booking and that was reflected in the price.
The wifi didnt always work and was only available in the public area. I emailed three times to arrange my arrival before I heard back. When I did hear back about being picked up from the airport, I was told just phone us when you arrive because sometimes flights are delayed (which mine was by an hour) so I rang on arrival from my personal nz cell (costing a fortune to make a call) finally my call was answered after about half an hour. I was told "you didn't book a pick up and the driver is at the port, you can wait an hour and he will get you". I said dont worry ill get the bus. Problem was the bus timetable was wrong and i waited an hour for the bus any way! Got there in the end.
The location is great and the room was clean. The water stream of our shower is very strong compared to other hotels in greece. The port drop off service without additional charge is appreciated.
The breakfast is poor compared to other hotels at the same rate in greece. The wi-fi connection is not storng at the public area and there is no wi-fi inside the rooms at all.
HEALTH POSSIBLE TRY CHANGE DAY TRY RECEIVE MONEY BACK TRY A LOT OF THINGS AND THE ANSWER WAS NO
NO HOTEL ALL THAT I ASK WAS NO
Before we arrived, Popi, the owner, offered us a room in Caldera, as it had been previously cancelled, with a view at the volcano. Not only was the view breathtaking and the room spacious, appropriate even for four people, but also the price remained the same, which was extremely low for such an accommodation in the particular location. The room was 7 min away on foot from "chora" and the route until there was absolutely magnificent! We were walking across Caldera, enjoying a panoramic view of the island and the sea. Popi was, also, very kind and helpful and she made everything to reassure we would have an unforgettable experience. It was absolutely a dreaming stay!
The hotel is very close to the caldera and the shopping streets.
