Perched at the top of the Caldera in Santorini Island, Kavalari Hotel enjoys panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the old port.
Score from 307 reviews Very good
Featuring a courtyard with flowers, Pansion Zaharoula is located 600 metres from the main square of Fira with several taverns and bars. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 205 reviews Excellent
Family-run Sofi Rooms is a whitewashed, Cycladic building, in central Fira, right on Santorini’s caldera. It offers traditional rooms with a balcony overlooking the volcano and the Aegean Sea.
Score from 82 reviews Very good
Featuring an outdoor pool with lounge chairs, the Antonia Hotel is a typical Cycladic property located 260 ft from Fira main square, in Santorini.
Score from 212 reviews Wonderful
Is a nice place to stay, the hoy tub was great. The woman of the reception was very kind, and his mother toó, they help us in everything. You can delivery food to the room, they can call it for you.
The bathroom was very small. If you dont have car, you have to walk by The road, its not too far but is better with car.
Katharina the owner is very nice and helpful, i like a bit of walking and not the crowded fira, but if you want direct caldera-view than this is not the right property
We loved how kind, helpful, and accommodating the staff were, especially Katarina. Everything is very clean and very charming. It is a family business and they put their heart into their business. We also appreciated the shuttle to the port.
Location is a bit of a jaunt if you are walking and don't a vehicle. It is do-able but it will work out your bum ;)
Very good position, only 10 minutes walk to the centre od Fira. Very nice nad helpful staff, they came for us at the airport when we came and delivered our suitcases to bus station when we were leaving. They called and organized boat trip for us..they changed towels and cleaned room every day..great place for vacation..
A quiet rural area, an opportunity to leave the very touristy area Santorini and from experience a different way. Cheap price and a good value for the money
It took us an hour and a half to find the hotel. No exact address was written in the web site, the address said that it is in the center of the city so we looked for in the central area but the local people referred us more and more to the countryside. If we had a map of the location of the hotel ir could have been easy to get there. once you know where it is it's very simple. I would highly recommend the hotel to map the hotel location because otherwise it is very annoying to look for the hotel. the pool was cold..
The man in the reception I think his name was kosak was very helpful and with nice personality I love that he took our bags to the bus stop
That the hotel is far for the people who did not want to rent a car or moto
This is a nice place with a very friendly and helpful owner and clean rooms.
The hotel is on the windy side of the island and 20 min walk along the road to the town centre with no pavements.
Good location, close enough to Fira. Room was big enough and the view from the balcony was amazing. Pool looked nice, although we didn't have time to use it. They arranged free transportation from the port.
Bathroom was unconfortable and old. Toilet almost in the shower. Besides, bathroom would flood every time we shower. Don't buy the breakfast, it is not worth it. You can buy a very decent breakfast for that price at Fira. Walking to Fira is kind of dangerous at night because there is no sidewalk or lights in the road and drivers are a little crazy. If you rent a car then it is no a problem.
The hotel itself is very good - clean spacy rooms with balconies, a normal-sized pool, free transfer from the port, friendly stuff (namely Kosmas the manager).
While the hotel is close to the center of Thira, the location is not picturesque, and you'll easily get lost trying to find your way back in the night (we actually had to hire a taxi after fruitless search for the needed turn).
Staff was amazing, so friendly and helpful Swimming pool + Jacuzzi Nice big rooms with nice view
Loopafstand naar Centrum, maar werd meer dan goed gemaakt door vriendelijke eigenaar en mooi uitzicht
Very friendly, helpful family. The villa was lovely and the rooms were a good size with nice balcony. An uphill walk into town, but it was nice to relax in a more peaceful setting with pleasant views of the sea.
The family that owns the hotel is amazing very friendly very helpful the hotel is a bit far from the city center but who cares when you get to see more and more of santorini I recommend this hotel to everyone its the best with the best staff !
The family feel of the hotel the friendliness of the staff and the amazing pool :)
Romantic Spa Resort is a REALLY family run business and a very kind-hearted place! All family perfectly clock-working in order to make sure your vacations will be more than relaxed and enjoyable! Rooms are super clean, tidy and spacious. Surroundings are very well maintained and breakfast is basic but of good quality (however, if your tastes are different than what they serve, they will do anything to satisfy you! A big THANK YOU for that!). Overall, a highly recommended accommodation!
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Though the rooms were a little basic, they were clean and comfortable with pretty views from the balcony.
The only negative would be the distance to the city center. In the heat, it was really difficult to do what would otherwise be a pleasant walk. But its only about 15mins to get there.
LOCATION BEAUTIFUL VIEW
BED MATTRESS SMALL BATHROOM SOME BUGS ON THE MATTRESS SHEETS WITH HOLES
Kosmas and his family are great! We received great atention.
We were a group of friends and the hotel was to quiet for us, we would have liked more party people. But we knew this when we rented the rooms.
I went in August with my boyfriend to Santorini and we stayed in Villa Romantic. It was one of the best choice of my life! They are too nice, it's clean and the breakfast was AMAZING. Seriously, go there.
It's 10 minutes on foot from Fira so you need to rent a quad or a Bike but this is normal for Santorini.
First, I gotta say this has been my second time at Villa Romantic so when you repeat in a hotel is because the first time you did like it. The staff (Kosmas and the rest of his familly) is really friendly and helpful. The swiming-pool is great. Everything at Villa Romantic is extremely clean and care. Perfect atmosphere to rest and to relax. Definitely, I´ll repeat
Nothing in the hotel. The only one point i the access to the hotel from Fira during the night. There are just before to get the hotel about 300 meters without streetlights on the road but to improve it it´s doesn´t depends on Villa Romantic. It depends on Municipallity.
Friendly, helpful owners
Staff was helpful at satisfying our requests. They arranged free one-way transfer from the ferry port after midnight. On the way back, we wanted the same service and they arranged for an extra price (12 Euro).
Although the location is only 10 minutes walk to Fira center, there is no pedestrian way at the road. At night it feels a bit dangerous with Santorini's crazy drivers.
The owner was very friendly and helpful to a point. He wouldnt make phone calls for us. The pool was very refreshing and the room was a good size with a balcony.
It was not "romantic"--it was a long dangerous walk to the town (uphill) so we ended up renting a car after one day. The breakfast was very basic with no real choices although they did give me a tomato when we asked. Would not recommend to mature couples.
The room was clean, breakfast was fair enough. The place is quiet for sleep. The ladies that work in the breakfast room and cleaning are very nice.
The place is far from the city if you want to walk. You might need about 20 minutes with a fast pace. The road has no sidewalks and limited illumination, with curves. Is dangerous to walk at night, you must need some type of transportation. After been transported from the port to the hotel, the manager informed us that the hotel only covers the transportation to be picked up at the port, and if we wanted him to arranged for us to be returned to the port we must pay 7 euro per person. I would expect that to be pre-informed in the internet since it was only mentioned that transportation will be provided to their guests, giving the impression there were no additional costs for that. I had been in Santorini before and other Greek islands and all the hotels provided this service free of additional charges.
Great, very friendly staff giving valuable advice in perfect English; excellent breakfast (huge portions allowing you to skip lunch :-)
The place is not so easy to find, but staff picked us up when we called them
- Affordable price - Pool
- Access: 15min walk down hill from Center of Fira. In summer, it is not easy to walk with heavy luggage - Staff availability: Staff was out of hotel quite often. Pick up from port and to city center was supposed to be included in price, but he was away and we had to take taxi. - Jacuzzi costs 5 euro.
