Area information

Hersonissos Port is located 16 miles east of Heraklion on the road to Agios Nikolaos.

At Hersonissos, the entertainment possibilities range from high speed activities like bungee jumping and go-carting to the relaxed atmosphere of Aquaworld, which features the local sea life and reptiles. The nightlife is also lively and has much to offer.

Hersonissos is in a central location of Crete and provides a good position for excursions to other parts of the island. This is an ideal holiday to unwind, relax and enjoy a range of exciting activities.

Nearby sightseeing includes three traditional housing villages up the hill to the south and the famous Minoan palace of Malia (3 miles away).

Close to the boulevard with restaurants and bars. Owner of the hotel is very helpful and also owns the jewelry shop that is below the hotel. Possible problems are solved immediately. It's right across the street from the beach and it is conveniently close to both stores and restaurants. The nicest part is that it is just far enough away from all of the clubs that it isn't too noisy but still close enough to go out. The view is great. The staff were incredibly nice! My Husband and I have traveled all over the world and this is our favorite place. We were treated like family. There are many exciting things to see and do in Crete and our room gave us a wonderful, charming place to relax after busy days. The room was large and well appointed but felt cozy, homey, and serene. The veiws are amazing and it is a minutes walk to a great beach. Non consiglio la camera deluxe.praticamente nessun benefit rispetto alle altre (a parte il balcone molto grande) e per tutti I soldi spesi (100 € a notte che per lo standard cretese sono tantissimi) mi sarei aspettata per lo meno le pulizie giornaliere anzichè ogni 2/3 giorni.Lontano dal poter essere definito di lusso. Anonymous Young couple Italy July 29, 2011	Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato presso Villa Sonia e ci siamo trovati benissimo, il rumore del mare di notte era stupendo e la vicinanza ai locali notturni è incredibile: sono proprio sotto l'albergo ma non danno assolutamente fastidio per dormire. Le uniche cose negative sono state il tipo di spiaggia di fronte a Villa Sonia: spiaggia con sabbia grossa e tantissimi scogli, che venivano superati dai moltissimi olandesi con decine di materassini. Perfetta la posizione, a due passi dalla vita notturna , ma abbastanza lontano da potersi addormentare con il rumore delle onde. La cucina è fornita di ogni stoviglia per cucinare. Ad essere pignoli il getto della doccia è veramente debole, ma questo ovviamente è solo un appunto. Близость к основной тусовке - ресторанам, и в то же время достаточно тихо. Хорошее отношение к гостям. Нормально работающая сантехника. На первом этаже - ювелирный магазин с русскоговорящей сотрудницей. Соотношение цены и качества. Беспл. wi-fi интернет работал то нормально, то вообще не работал, часты обрывы связи, постоянно приходилось вводить логин-пароль. Anonymous Mature couple France July 3, 2011	La chambre est agréable et la vue superbe, le balcon est assez grand mais il manque des transats.Les gens sont très gentils, ils parlent l'anglais mais pas beaucoup le français.Séjour intéressant pour découvrir la région mais pas pour se reposer. Chose curieuse pour un hotel pas de réception ce qui est un peu déroutant. Les restaurants sont en bas de l'hotel en plein air, c'est pratique mais très bruyant. Difficile pour garer sa voiture.
