Villa Manos  

The only two good things about this hotel are the view and the people on the front desk, very nice ones.

The location is terrible, you are not in the city (Thira) and you are not close to any beach. To get to the city is not far (10 min walk) but there is no sidewalk in a really busy road you need to walk, is not very safe. To get to any beach you need to rent a bike or take the bus. The bathroom and the room are very small, to take a shower is very difficult because is so tiny and you need to hold the shower, is terrible. The las thing about the bathroom is the toilet sit, is smaller then the toilet so you need to sit on the toilet bowl, not very nice!

Villa Manos was fantastic!!! The owners a husband and wife are friendly and amazing hosts showing wonderful greek hospitality. They helped us book excursions on a budget, book mopeds to sight see, and also helped up map out how to beach hop. Since we came at the end of tourist season, they even upgraded our room to the suite free of charge, we didn't even ask. We stumbled on Villa Manos on accident, but we liked the comfort and homey feel that we booked an extra night. The hotel is clean with a nice view of the ocean and the owners are welcoming. In my opinion, Villa Manos gives you more than what you are paying for. Definitely would recommend the hotel to friends and would stay there again!!!

One downfall is: we visited Greece when they were having taxi strikes so we had to walk about fifteen/twenty minutes to downtown (not a hard walk). Villa Manos is close to the city center, but it is not quite in the center so it is more peaceful.

the hotel is very clean, its location near the city center, and it is very suitable for the families. The room equipment was excellent and every thing was smooth and nothing to worry about it. they also provide free transport from the port to and to hotel and the opposite is true. the offer very delicious breakfast at very good price (5 euro) per person and i suggest to put this offer on their site.

Wir haben uns im Villa Manos wohl gefuehlt, die Besitzer sind supernett und hilfsbereit, alles ist ganz sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Der Pool ist relativ gross und schoen (freute besonders die Kinder). Toll auch, dass man vom Flughafen bzw. vom Hafen abgeholt und wieder hingebracht wird (ist inklusive).

Einziger Nachteil: es fahren haeufig LKWs (Wassertransport) am Haus vorbei, d.h. es ist relativ laut, obwohl man die eigentliche Hauptstrasse nach Thira gar nicht so hoert.

Het hotel ligt buiten het centrum van Fira en is daardoor lekker rustig. Poppy en haar man doen er alles aan om je verblijf zo makkelijk mogelijk te maken. Dichtbij het hotel ligt de bushalte naar de stranden en naar het centrum van Fira. Van de bus naar het centrum hebben wij geen gebruik hoeven te maken omdat de lieve man van Poppy ons steeds wel eventjes bracht! Taxi van Fira naar hotel kost 5Euro. Het zonterras is groot en het zwembad is heerlijk. Aanrader is om het eiland per quad te bekijken.

De douche zelf is erg krapjes, maar we zijn erachter gekomen dat vele Griekse douches zo zijn.

Roligt hotel, hvor vores familie stort set havde poolen, for sig selv hele ugen. Meget søde, venlige og yderst hjælpsom personale.

Mangler køkken. Desværre for langt til indkøb efter vores smag. Vejen ind til byen er meget ubehagelig at gå med 3 børn. Der er meget traffik, men kun fortorv på ca 1/3 af vejen.

Η διαμονή μου στο ξενοδοχείο Villa Manos ήταν υπέροχη. το οικείο και οικογενειακό περιβάλλον μας έκανε να αισθανθούμε πραγματικά σαν το σπίτι μας. οι ιδιοκτήτες του ξενοδοχείου ήταν πολύ ευγενικοί και ειδικά η κυρία Ποππη ήταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας εξυπηρετήσει.Το πρωινό ήταν χορταστικόκαι το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και άνετο. και η θέα ήταν καταπληκτική. ειδικά την ώρα της ανατολής του ηλίου.ό,τι καλύτερο για μία ρομαντική απόδραση στη σαντορίνη... σίγουρα θα σας επισκεφτούμε ξανά!!!!
