Great service and staff, awesome view, very good breakfast.

The hotel was lovely as was the views. The breakfast was also delicious. They provided a shuttle into town.

There were a lot of steps involved on the grounds-just to be weary for older customers.

I guess the east building with the view of vineyard is totally different to its sea view site. It's just another hotel share the pool and restaurant with its main building. So nothing good to say but cheaper. Its volcano view building must be much better.

Very old facilities , small tv, refrigerator buzz all the night... Everything looks cheap and old. Just be cautious not to book this cheap east site building if want to enjoy the real volcano view.

This hotel provided everything I need, and even more than I would ask for. The best hotel I've ever stay. A word excellent is not enough to describe my feeling about Vocanol View. Perfect view, Clean housekeeping , wonderful restaurent,and most important is the stuff their. They treat me like a family and provide me lots of help. I 'll recommend it to every friend visiting Santorini.

It had an amazing view and was a little bit away from fira which we enjoyed the seclusion.

Amazing views, fantastic design of villas, well furnished & equipped villas and incredibly friendly, helpful & informative staff.

Our host Nick made our stay even more fantastic than we expected. His passion for Santorini is infectious. He made us feel very comfortable. The shuttle to and from Fira was great. The villa was fantastic. Nothing like a private pool to make you feel special. The sunsets from the balcony was beautiful.

Everything - especially the view

Oh where do I start! We were in Greece for our honeymoon. I booked us a sea view room. When we got there we found that they were going to upgrade us to a Villa with our own private pool! We were thrilled! The hotel was overbooked from what we heard and do to us only being their the amount of time the villa was available we were lucky enough to have this location. We were the last (Artemis villa) villa on the cliff. So it was fairly private. We had a backyard with a view of our pool and beyond that the caldera. You could see the port down below and the cruise ships as they came in. It was stunning! You could enjoy Oia in the distance as well. Niko the Villa Concierge was amazing! He told us about a catamaran trip that we ended up booking and had a GREAT time! He also without our asking reserved a table for us at a beautiful restaurant not far from the hotel that wasn't too expensive. The food was amazing! We didn't have to do it and he would have cancelled if we hadn't been interested. He knew we weren't Villa customers and that we had only lucked into this, but you'd not know it based on how he treated us. It was so wonderful. 10 stars to Volcano View from us!

No wifi in rooms. Aawful reception staff. In the town they rent bikes and cars for half the price.

The staff were great, they upgraded us to a duplex apartment and the views were amazing!

The pools were a little small and not enough shuttle buses to and from town.

Volcano Hotel was an amazing experience for us. We stayed for three days and enjoyed every single day. Not only the view is impressive (and cannot be described by words) but the staff and the hotel facilities definitely improved our stay in Santorini. At our arrival we booked a room (inland view) and stayed there for two days. The room are much cheaper than the others and are about 30 sqm, ours had Jacuzzi. Although the inland view is not as stunning as the one from the hotel, the view in Santorini is amazing everywhere, so if you don't want to spend too much, in land view is perfect (just a tip). After the two days of stay, We decided though to upgrade to a see view room and the experience was obviously fantastic, we were given a stunning room with view on islands and sea. To recap: View is Fantastic, Staff very friendly and prepared, excellent breakfast and hotels room.

The location of the hotel on the cliff facing the volcano and allowing one of the best views of the world, the sunset.... Amazing view, great people serving at the hotel without forgetting the lovely bar tender at the pool area .... catherina We should not forget the access to the hotel and the availability of free wifi

I didn't like loosing my money :) coz each and every year I must pass by the hotel for two to three days. It is almost my second time their and hopefully I will get again and again

The pools were the highlight.

The shuttle bus service to Fira should be more frequent in the morning after breakfast and before the evening meal every day.

Kind of expensive for what it offers! Room furniture & room design could have been more modern and detailed considering the price. The nice view only defiitely did not justify the price per night. We did not feel it was a complete package of satisfaction

Unique view. Wonderful place.

We have stayed here few years ago and choose to stay again for the impressive view and for the design of the rooms. Unfortunately here I have to stop with the good points. FYI: If you come to Santorini you definitely need to rent a car (or bike or ATV); After 2 weeks stay and visiting all the island, we highly recommend Taverna TO PSARAKI, above the port of Vlychada - the best and the most fresh food on the island. Also, there is a better point to see the sunset (not in the crazy busy OIA spot) - you can go on the other end of the island at FARO after AKROTIRI. All in all, Santorini is a perfect destination for a quiet romantic holiday.

1. poor breakfast, bad coffee (unless you order a good one and pay for it), very bad juices; personel was just waiting to be asked if you wanted something (like a clean table or to order something and to pay for it); very few tables outside. only one guy smiling and trying to make conversation. 2. there was a fight for the sun beds around the swimmingpool. people were that crazy that I guess they were putting their towels since the evenings and keeping the beds bussy with the towels even if they were sleeping (when others would have like to actually use them); the hotel should do some rules for this. 3. people at the reception should try to be more helpful and nice; we have asked for only 1hour late checkout (after 2 weeks stay) and they told us it is impossible (not even trying to find a solution) 4. very expensive for what they are offering
