Xifoupolis Apartments Hotel & Studios in the picturesque area of Xifias in Monemvasia, are ideally located 3 miles from the castle and 110 yards from the beach. The Complex boasts a large swimming pool with hydro-massage section for adults and a separate smaller one for children. All self-catered rooms are equipped with a kitchenette, air-conditioning, and internet access and have large balconies with sea and mountain views, overlooking the Castle of Monemvasia. Just 100 yards from the hotel there is a convenience store and also the best tavern of the area, offering traditional Greek food. Within walking distance from the hotel there are numerous taverns offering fresh Mediterranean fish food. The visitors to Monemvasia may arrange daily trips to nearby places of interest, such as the famous Caves of Dyros and the lagoon of Gerakas. This is a wonderful family hotel quite close from the outstanding Bizantine/Venetian castle of Monemvasia. The owners are so nice, they really made us feel like at home. I strongly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel; Very comfortable rooms/appartments, a pool, a very nice beach on walking distance and an even better beach a little further, Monemvasia close by (5 nminutes by car), very friendly staff. What more can you ask for ? The next door restaurant is excellent.

Clean and quiet, very friendly people, excellent personnel behavior, close enough to Monemvasia Castle and nice beaches in the area, enough and safe parking space, good sized pool and very clean , excellent homemade breakfast, try the orange cookies!!

Hotel Xifoupolis is a small, family-run hotel, just few kilometers away from the fortress-town of Monemvasia, in Southern Peloponnese, Greece. It is quite new, enjoys a superb view of the Aegean sea and is surrounded by olive groves and scattered country houses. The place is very clean and quite pleasant to spent an afternoon or an evening, if you decide to avoid the crowds squeezed in the narrow cobblestone passageways of Monemvasia. I would especially recommend it for families, since the beach is a walking distance away. Prices are ok. Overall, it is a lovely and pleasant place, worthing every penny you pay.

Yakov and Katerina were excellent. The place was in a great spot and accommodated out large group. We stayed in the villa! Couldn't have asked for a better place. The pool at the main hotel was great!

This is a very nice hotel which is really appropriate for family holidays. It is clean and close to the beach. We were there with tow kids and they offer nice family rooms. We had a problem with the car and the manager and the staff were very helpful and supportive.

This is a great hotel! You are about 5 km south of Monemvasia proper, but it is worth the extra few minutes drive. The hotel staff was exceptional! They brought us coffee after we checked in and just made sure we were comfortable. They were always smiling and were happy to help with any questions we had. Breakfast was fantastic, the pool was beautiful and the scenery was divine. The room was clean, well kept and very large. It also has a kitchenette with some dishes so you can get food in town and cook it in your room.I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to get to Monemvasia, but also wanting a relaxing stay in the countryside.

We arrived late on Saturday night after a long drive in the rain and our hosts were amazing. Too tired to search for somewhere to eat we were treated to some delicious snacks in front of an open fire. We had booked a smaller room but seeing the size of our party (3 adults and a toddler) we were given a larger room that was fantastic - clean, spacious and fully equipped with a small kitchen. After a very comfortable nights sleep we woke to bright sunshine in the morning, an amazing view from the balcony and a hearty breakfast.The hotel is only a short drive from Monemvasia which meant that we were treated to come spectacular views as we made our way back along the coast to explore the town. All in all a hotel we would highly recommend and great value for money. The only thing I could fault the hotel on was the shower set up - the low hung shower curtain made showering an interesting experience for taller people!

πάσχα 2012: εξαιρετική τοποθεσία 7-8 λεπτά από την μονεμβασιά. το τετράκλινο δωμάτιο πολύ άνετο και με θέα εξαιρετική. πολύ ευγενικοί ιδιοκτήτες με παιδεία,ευγένεια, ανυπόκριτη οικειότητα και επαγγελματισμό. πρωινό με σπιτικές πινελιές.πισίνα μεγάλη και καθαρή με πολύ μεγάλη προσπάθεια απο μέρους των ιδιοκτητών. το πιο value for money ξενοδοχείο που έχω συναντήσει τα τελευταία χρόνια, που όταν εξοφλείς το λογαριασμό ξέρεις ότι άξιζε κάθε ευρώ. το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα. η ντουσιέρα αποδείχθηκε λίγο μικρή και άβολη για το μέγεθός μου.

Xifoupolis Hotel is within walking distance of the beach overlooking the castle. Has an excellent breakfast (mrs Katerina makes the best apple pie I've ever tasted),swimming pool, cleanliness rooms, friendly service and reasonable prices!

We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen door de eigenaars van Xifoupolis, supervriendelijke mensen. Ook de kinderen genoten van het heerlijke ontbijt met zelfgemaakte cake, koekjes en sinaasappelmarmelade. Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten autorijden van het indrukwekkende en gezellige Monemvasia en op wandelafstand van een leuk strandje. Zeker een aanrader!

La amabilidad del personal extraordinaria, Son apartamentos muy amplios con terraza y con todo lo imprescindible, muy limpios, comodos y las camas son muy nuevas.Es todo muy nuevo. El desayuno tradicional pero casero. la ducha se podria mejorar: el grifo iba mal, la cortina no funcionaba y no habia para colgar la ducha

Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται μόλις 4 χιλιόμετρα από τη Μονεμβασιά, ακριβώς δίπλα στην παραλία του Ξιφία. Πολύ όμορφο ξενοδοχείο, αρκετά προσιτό όσον αφορά την τιμή και με πολύ ευγενικό και φιλικό προσωπικό. Ευχαριστούμε ιδιαίτερα την κα Κατερίνα για τη φιλοξενία και την προθυμία της να μας βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Θα το συνιστούσα ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον επιθυμεί να κάνει διακοπές κοντά σε παραλία.

Самый большой плюс - очень гостеприимные и доброжелательные хозяева гостиницы. Вместо забронированного двухместного номера нам дали двухкомнатный номер с отдельной спальней, на прощанье подарили фильм с достопримечательностями города. Домашние завтраки, большой бассейн. Полотенца меняли каждый день. Рядом несколько пляжей (самый ближайший - 3-4 минуты пешком), но самый лучший (на наш взгляд) у отеля, расположенного на берегу моря метров за 400 до поворота к нашей гостинице (на машине - 2 минуты). Большая парковка, бесплатный беспроводной интернет (периодически слабый сигнал). Неудобная шторка для душа в ванной (по росту рассчитана максимально на человека ростом 175 см., выше - будет упираться головой в пластиковые направляющие, на которых держится шторка). Нет крепления для душа на высоте выше человеческого роста (только на уровне талии), приходилось мыться, держа душ в руке.

La gentilezza del personale e dei proprietari; il cibo ottimo e preparato direttamente dalla signora caterina L'appartamento purtroppo non ha una bella spiaggia vicina e con I bambini occorre recarsi molto distante , ad esempio ad elafonissos, se si vuole una spiaggia bella e comoda
