Apartments Hotel & Studios, Xifoupolis  

Hotel Xifoupolis is a small, family-run hotel, just few kilometers away from the fortress-town of Monemvasia, in Southern Peloponnese, Greece. It is quite new, enjoys a superb view of the Aegean sea and is surrounded by olive groves and scattered country houses. The place is very clean and quite pleasant to spent an afternoon or an evening, if you decide to avoid the crowds squeezed in the narrow cobblestone passageways of Monemvasia. I would especially recommend it for families, since the beach is a walking distance away. Prices are ok. Overall, it is a lovely and pleasant place, worthing every penny you pay.

Very nice accommodations, within driving distance to Monemvasia but also many other popular locations in the Peloponese. The apartment was very comfortable, roomy and clean. Our hosts were simply too good to be true! Home-made breakfasts (lunches, really!) by Mrs. Katerina who is an excellent cook, fruit picked fresh off the tree by her husband - the whole experience was like being home away from home. We definitely recommend the place, we have read all the reviews and could not agree more. This is a place to be enjoyed both in the off-season (like we did) for some quiet time away from the city and in the summer for a beach holiday. Thank you for your hospitality!

The owners are very hospitable.friendly and outgoing.The service is quite good and one can enjoy relaxing holiday.

Yakov and Katerina were excellent. The place was in a great spot and accommodated out large group. We stayed in the villa! Couldn't have asked for a better place. The pool at the main hotel was great!

Our hosts could not have been more accomodating. Very special people indeed.

We arrived late on Saturday night after a long drive in the rain and our hosts were amazing. Too tired to search for somewhere to eat we were treated to some delicious snacks in front of an open fire. We had booked a smaller room but seeing the size of our party (3 adults and a toddler) we were given a larger room that was fantastic - clean, spacious and fully equipped with a small kitchen. After a very comfortable nights sleep we woke to bright sunshine in the morning, an amazing view from the balcony and a hearty breakfast.The hotel is only a short drive from Monemvasia which meant that we were treated to come spectacular views as we made our way back along the coast to explore the town. All in all a hotel we would highly recommend and great value for money.

The only thing I could fault the hotel on was the shower set up - the low hung shower curtain made showering an interesting experience for taller people!

Το ξενοδοχείο Xifoupolis διακρίνεται για την άψογη φιλοξενία του, την καθαριότητα και το πλούσιο σπιτικό πρωινό που προσφέρει.

πολύ καλή και φιλική εξυπηρέτηση,πλούσιο πρωινό,καθαριότητα και γενικά ένα πολύ καλό περιβάλλον.

Самый большой плюс - очень гостеприимные и доброжелательные хозяева гостиницы. Вместо забронированного двухместного номера нам дали двухкомнатный номер с отдельной спальней, на прощанье подарили фильм с достопримечательностями города. Домашние завтраки, большой бассейн. Полотенца меняли каждый день. Рядом несколько пляжей (самый ближайший - 3-4 минуты пешком), но самый лучший (на наш взгляд) у отеля, расположенного на берегу моря метров за 400 до поворота к нашей гостинице (на машине - 2 минуты). Большая парковка, бесплатный беспроводной интернет (периодически слабый сигнал).

Неудобная шторка для душа в ванной (по росту рассчитана максимально на человека ростом 175 см., выше - будет упираться головой в пластиковые направляющие, на которых держится шторка). Нет крепления для душа на высоте выше человеческого роста (только на уровне талии), приходилось мыться, держа душ в руке.
