- spacious room - large pool - excellent breakfast (especially Mrs. Katerini's homemade orange pie) - the owners' hospitality (we have really felt like home when invited to the Easter lunch) Thank you for a lovely holiday !

- one mention: the hotel is actually in Xifias, about 6 km away from Monemvasia. Thus, a car is essential if one has a mind to visit Monemvasia.

Everything was excellent:welcome,homemade food,situation,bedroom,swimming-pool ,even the weather.Thank you very much for the lovely holidays. Will try to come back again.

Lovely welcoming and generous owners and staff, fabulous home made breakfast! Monemvasia is amazing, we (Parents + two kids) had a great time visiting

We were 3 friends traveling for 2 weeks and this family-run hotel was our last stop to rest before going back home. No doubt, that was the best (out of 4 we had a chance to stay) hotel chosen for the end of our holidays: the apartment was spacy and clean with a big balcony and lovely view on the Monemvasia Castle and the nearby sea, parking space, nearby beach, DELICIOUS fresh home made breakfast with different dishes every morning! Moreover, they make the breakfast from home-grown products. Besides, upon your request Katherine will cook anything for you to try for your dinner either:) Furthermore, we were lucky to have chosen this hotel instead of hotels in Monemvasia itself (reached in 5 min by car) - in this way we escaped the 'joy' of dragging our luggage up and down the mountain! However, it's owners INCREDIBLE hospitality and warm attitude towards their guests that bought me. They would reach out to every need or wish of yours (the first night we couldn't find any English movies on TV and asked the owner if they have any DVDs. No clue where he got them from, but tomorrow morning he brought us 6 movies to watch. To tell the truth, we didn't watch any of them since they were quite old ones:( Nevertheless, I did value their effort and attitude!) And finally, when leaving I felt like leaving from my grandparents' house. The owners and the staff really make you feel there like at home:)) I do recommend staying here.

Excellent spacy room; warm ,"like at home" owners' attitude; very tasty breakfast; we recommend everyone to try Katherine cuisine as she is the best to prepare beens, octopus and lamb; Tula speaks excellent English; it is only 5 mins drive from the town

we stayed only one night to visit Monemvassia . Big room, tidy and clean witha a little kitchen where you can prepare somethink to eat or dink if you want. In the fridge we found water and juice. Special breakfast with home made cakes pizza orange juice and so on. Very kind and friendli staff.

it is non so near to Monemvassia if you have not a car. As well Monemvassia and Gefira are actually very crowded with cars, this could be a quite good alternative accomodation.

We stayed at Xifoupolis Apartments in our last holiday in Greece and we were very happy. The atmosphere was lovely and caring towards guests was very attentive. The breakfast was wonderful and carefully prepared directly from their cook using natural products.

This is the second time we come to Xifoupolis from Switzerland/Geneva. These are by far our best holidays in recent years. It's a home run small complex with a nice pool, lovely view on the Monemvasia Castle and the nearby sea, very clean rooms and perfect location (beach is a 3 minutes walk, Village of Monemvasia a few minutes by car). You have a small shop at 150 m from the hotel and lot of excellent and cheap restaurants around (distance ranging from 0.2 to 5 km with prices from 25 to 60 Euros for a 4 people family having an entire dinner with wine). But the most important thing is the INCREDIBLE hospitality of the family owing the business. The staff is lovely and the breakfast is made all from their own grown stuff with every morning fresh, home made bakery and local specialties. You really feel like home. We went there with our dog and two kids and we will be definitely going back next year!!!

This is a wonderful family hotel quite close from the outstanding Bizantine/Venetian castle of Monemvasia. The owners are so nice, they really made us feel like at home. I strongly recommend this place.

H εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άψογη και οι ιδιοκτήτες πολλοί φιλικοί και φιλόξενοι.Το πρωινό ήταν σπιτικό και πλούσιο και το ξενοδοχείο πολύ καθαρό.Γενικά απολαύσαμε μια ευχάριστη διαμονή.

Ήταν το τέλειο μέρος για τις δυο σημαντικότερες στιγμές της ζωής μας - τον γάμο μας και τη βάπτιση του γιου μας. Χάρη στην απίστευτη φιλοξενία δύο υπέροχων ανθρώπων, του κου Ιάκωβου και της κας Κατερίνας - των ιδιοκτητών του ξενοδοχείου - η διαμονή μας στο XIFOUPOLIS έμεινε αξέχαστη τόσο σε εμάς όσο και στους καλεσμένους μας. Πολύ ευρύχωρα δωμάτια, πεντακάθαροι χώροι, άμεση εξυπηρέτηση, πλουσιοπάροχο πρωϊνό και υπέροχη θέα. Πάνω απ'όλα, όμως, η θετική ενέργεια και το χαμόγελο των ιδιοκτητών είναι αυτά που κέρδισαν τις καρδιές μας! Τους ευχαριστούμε πολύ και σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε το επόμενο καλοκαίρι!!!

Onder alle opzichten een schitterend hotel. De eigenaars en hun personeel zijn uiterst vriendelijk. Elke kamer heeft een ruim eigen balkon en probleemloos WiFi-internet. De keukenuitrusting was in orde. Het ontbijtbuffet is voorbeeldig wel voorzien. Dit is een absolute aanrader. Wie met de ferry van Piraeus naar Monemvassia komt, kan ter plaatse een wagen huren voor verdere excursies.

πολύ συμπαθητικό το προσωπικό, καλή τοποθεσία, πλούσιο πρωινό, μεγάλα δωμάτια με μπαλκόνι, πισίνα. είναι σίγουρα καλό για οικογένειες με παιδιά και όσους έχουν αυτοκίνητο και θέλουν να κάνουν κοντινές εκδρομές στην περιοχή.

υπάρχει πρόβλημα με το μπάνιο, το οποίο ήταν μικρό και πλημμύριζε όταν κάναμε ντους, με προβληματική κουρτίνα μπάνιου. και το wi-fi δεν είναι πολύ καλό, αλλά δεν το χρειαστήκαμε ιδιαίτερα. δεν θα το επέλεγα αν ήθελα να περάσω το χρόνο μου κυρίως στο ξενοδοχείο.

ολα πολυ καλα το καλυτερο το ραβανι και οι σπιτικεσ μαρμελαδεσ ανεση ξεκουραση χαλαρωση το συνηστω σε οικογενειεσ ανεπυφιλαχτα καθαρα δωματια με θεα μονεμβασσια

νομιζω οτι ολα ηταν πολυ καλα

- непритязательные две звезды - чистое белье и полотенца - находятся в 5 минутах от Монемвасии на машине, пешком не дойдешь

- цена несколько завышена - ближайщие пляжи - с темным песком либо камни - т.к. ресепшен находится рядом с кухней, то в нем постоянно присутствует посторонний запах - на английском из персонала хорошо говорит только хозяин отеля - мебель в общественных местах (завтрак, бассейн) требует замены, неуютно

Cortesia e disponibilita' del proprietario,ambiente famigliare,colazioni abbondanti con torte preparate dalla moglie del proprietario,camere ampie e spaziose con vista mare. Una sera i proprietari ci hanno offerto una cena con altri ospiti del hotel con piatti tipici greci. Veramente da consigliare e ritornare.

Unica pecca il piatto doccia e la tenda da sostituire.

- Angenehme Studios. - einfaches, nettes Apart-Hotel. - netter Empfang - für die 2. Nacht wurde uns ein grösseres, schöneres Studio angeboten, zum gleichen Preis. - schönes Schwimmbad. - gute, ruhige Lage, etwas abseits vom Touristenrummel

- Die Umgebung des Hotels und sein Garten könnten etwas besser gepflegt und schöner gestaltet sein.
