Oresivio

The place is very nice, with a tastefully decorated common area that has a fireplace and "home-made" furniture. The family who runs the place are very, very nice. They gave us tips about what to see in the area along with very accurate info on the state of the roads (some roads were closed because of snow). They were very helpful and attentive. The room was comfortable and spotless. The view was lovely and the kitchenette was definitely useful. There is a supermarket a short distance away, FYI... Rates for coffee, tea, breakfast etc are very reasonable compared to usual hotel prices! Location: I personally loved the location, but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem, as it is a short walk from the town center.

very nice guesthouse. rooms are clean, warm and spacious. beds are very comfortable. They provide protective barriers for the kids bed. The owners are very helpful. breakfast is on extra charge, which is ok for me, its on your descretion. ten min walking from town center. great value for money.

Small, family-run guesthouse. Very friendly staff, very helpful and welcoming. We had a short-notice change of plan, meaning we were going to stay there for fewer days than originally planned - but they were very understanding and allowed us to change things without any problem

We stayed at Oresivio for two nights in September 2012, in the Standard studio (the green one in the pictures :)). We had a lovely stay here, and we would definitely come back to it if we visit the area again. The guesthouse is ideally located in a quiet street just outside the center of Metsovo, away from the noise and the crowd, but at walking distance from shops, tavernas, and the nice village center of Metsovo with its beautiful architecture and plateias. It has superb views of the mountains – we often sat on our balcony just admiring the view. Our studio consisted of three parts: the bedroom, with a great bed, big closets and nice local decorations; the small but clean and practical bathroom, and the kitchen/dining room, provided with just enough kitches ustensils to make a nice dinner for two. The best part of this guesthouse is the people: Kostas and his mom welcomed as with a big smile and a tsipouro :). Kostas knows a lot about the history of Metsovo (but also knows Ioannina and Thessaloniki very well) and can give you advice on hikes in the neighborhood (he speaks English really well by the way) and his mom is very nice and helpful; she showed me the water fountain close to the guesthouse and offered us Greek coffee and typical sugared figs as a goodbye present. We really felt at home at Oresivio, and we definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Metsovo!! Greetings from Natasja and Bram ;)

The location and the appartments were great. Very clean and very well equiped. The family that run the hotel is very friendly and do anything to help you. Very pleased with this choice.

Thank you having been and beeing Oresivio.Thanks God Oresivio in Metsovo and Metsovo itself exist on the map of the world.Well designed guest-house,everything is moderate but stylish,combination of colours of the courtains and furniture is perfect especially on the morning sunrise.Comfortable beds,nice and fragranted linen,comfortable and well equipped kitchen.Moning coffee and evening Uzo on the terrace were incredible.The village is so architecturally superior,all the houses are well built traditionally with lovely gardens and flower beds in front.The view fromre Osivio is magnificent.Don"t go to the centre to find a house,find your lovely place just 200 m from the noise and hustle and bustle,your calm,tranquil,ease,comfort,cosy,warm house is just Elen&Konstantinos guest house.Just to share:I had a cold and bad cough and the lady prepared hot soup,delicious cakes,tea and I got better.Strongly reccommend Oresivio I and all my family.We spent unforgetable time there and will spend our longer vocation next year there again.The family is very helpful and polite,Elen is very charming lady with lovely smile.Konstantinos likes travelling and we found a good topic for conversation.Thanks to this intelligent family for the warm stay.

Είμαστε μια οικογένεια με τέσσερα παιδιά και πραγματικά η αναζήτηση ενός ξενώνα που θα μπορούσε να μας εξασφαλίσει τα δέοντα ήταν ένα ζητούμενο για μας. Στον ξενώνα Ορεσίβιο βρήκαμε ό,τι ζητούσαμε και ακόμη περισσότερα. Οι χώροι ήταν ιδανικοί, άνετοι, καθαροί και ζεστοί. Οι φωτογραφίες που παρουσιάζονται στην ιστοσελίδα του ξενώνα ανταποκρίνονται 100% σε αυτό που συναντάς εκεί. Η διακόσμησή του είναι παραδοσιακή με ξυλόγλυπτες δημιουργίες των ίδιων των ιδιοκτητών!Η Ελένη και ο Γιώργος μας υποδέχτηκαν με πολλή θέρμη και νιώσαμε σαν να μας φιλοξενούσαν δικοί μας άνθρωποι. Ειλικρινά, ήταν εξαιρετικά.

Καθαριότητα,εξυπηρέτηση

Το προσωπικό ασύλληπτα ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό, με πληθώρα πληροφοριών για τις δραστηριότητες, τα χιονοδρομικά και το χωριό. Μας προμήθευσαν μέχρι και ελκηθράκι και μικρά πέδιλα σκι για τα παιδιά. Πανέμορφο και άνετο δωμάτιο, λειτουργούσαν όλα στην εντέλεια. Η καθαριότητά του εκτός ορίων βαθμολογίας, έχουμε πάει σε σπίτι πολύ λιγότερο καθαρά!!! Η σόμπα πέλετ στο καθιστικό έκανε τη διαφορά. Το κοινό καθιστικό παραδοσιακό ηπειρώτικο, ήταν μαγεία. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται στην άκρη του χωριού, μακρυά από τα στίφη των τουριστών της πρωτεύουσας, άρα ήσυχο και γαλήνιο.

βολική τοποθεσία, διαθέτει πρόσβαση από παράκαμψη του κεντρικού δρόμου.φιλόξενο προσωπικό και άνετα, ευρύχωρα δωμάτια.

Μας άρεσε η τοποθεσία του ξενώνα με υπέροχη θέα. Μας άρεσε επίσης φιλοξενία και η καλοσύνη των ιδιοκτητών. Τέλος μας άρεσε το άνετο, καθαρό και ζεστό δωμάτιο που μείναμε.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, smart location, excelent view. Nice design in the loft.

Δεν έχω λόγια να περιγράψω το πόσο όμορφα περάσαμε σε αυτό το κατάλυμα για 9 ημέρες. Τέλειος ξενώνας με προσεγμένα δωμάτια, ζεστά και διακοσμημένα με γούστο. Υπόδειγμα καθαριότητας και φιλοξενείας. Πολύ κοντά στη πλατεία και στα καταστήματα.

I am from Greece, but I will write my comment in english so that foreigners can also read it, because from what I was told, there are many people from other countries who visit the guesthouse. I went to oresivio for the new year's eve holiday and the whole experience was beautiful and very relaxing. It is located near the center square of the village and it is run by Kostas and his family. They are all very nice and heartwarming people and they took good care of us as much as they could. The room was very clean, comfortable and warm with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and an amazing view of the mountain! The sitting room of the guesthouse in the ground floor is very cosy and has traditional wooden decorations made by Kostas in his grandfather's wood workshop. One night we were sitting there next to the fireplace drinking wine that Kostas offered us and we started talking with him about lots of stuff. He is a very friendly guy and he likes travelling a lot! Overall, oresivio guesthouse (which literally translates to 'the guesthouse that lives on the mountain') is a beautiful place in an even more beautiful village and I will definately stay there again the next time I visit Metsovo!

I wanted to stay longer!

Θέλαμε να πάμε για Χριστούγεννα στο Μέτσοβο. Ψάχνοντας βρήκαμε από το booking το Oresivio, και λόγω θετικών σχολίων το κλείσαμε. Δεν το μετανιώσαμε καθόλου! Το ορεσίβιο, είναι ένας πανέμορφος παραδοσιακός ξενώνας λίγο πέρα από την κεντρική πλατεία του Μετσόβου. Μόλις φτάσαμε μας υποδέχτηκαν ο Κώστας και η οικογένειά του με τον πιο φιλόξενο τρόπο, κερνώντας μας καφέ και μελομακάρονα. Ο χώρος του καθιστικού με το τζάκι είναι παραδοσιακά διακοσμημένος και καλαίσθητος, και μάλιστα ο Κώστας μας είπε ότι τις περισσότερες από τις ξύλινες διακοσμήσεις τις έχει φτιάξει ο ίδιος στο ξυλουργείο που έχουν κάτω από τον ξενώνα. Το δωμάτιο μας ήταν εξίσου όμορφο, ζεστό και άνετο, ενώ η πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα είναι ότι πρέπει για όσους θέλουν να κάνουν διακοπές περισσότερες μέρες. Θα ξαναπήγαινα χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη!

Πολυ ωραιο το dising του ξενωνα και των δωματιων αριστη εξυπηρετιση ,ευγενια του προσωπικου, η τοποθεσια του βολικη μολις 300 μετρα απο τη πλατεια "αναστασια-θοδωρης θεσ/νικη"

Τέλεια τοποθεσία, υπέροχο δωμάτιο, εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση καθώς και άριστη σχέση ποιότητας - τιμής. Πάνω από όλα δεν έτριζε το κρεβάτι!

ήταν άνετος ο χώρος,με κουζινούλα και άνετα δωμάτια.

δεν μας ειδοποιήσανε πως πρ'επει να ανάβουμε θερμοσίφωνα και μείναμε στο μπάνιο αρκετή ώρα χωρίς νερό..τα χρήματα δεν ήταν και λίγα για να μην έρχονται να το συμμαζεύουν αφού μείναμε 2 νύχτες και ξέραμε πως είχαμε παιδιά και το πρωινό έπρεπε να ήταν μέσα στην τιμή. Μπορούνε να προσφέρουν περισσότερα για την τιμή που ζητάνε.

Πολύ φιλόξενο προσωπικό, καθαρά και άνετα δωμάτια, πολύ καλή τοποθεσία κοντά στην κεντρική πλατεία του Μετσόβου.

L'attività è avviata da poco, ma l'ospitalità dei proprietari soddisfa ogni eventuale mancanza: a noi mancava qualche utensile da cucina, che ci è stato immediatamente fornito:-) Ottima location, fuori dall'affollato centro di Metsovo, che dista però pochi minuti a piedi. The hotel started its activity recently, so we lacked some kitchen tools but the gently owners meet all our requests . Great location, outside the busy center of Metsovo, which is, however, a few minutes walk.

Odličan apartman, prostran, čist i komforan. Vlasnici kuće su veoma prijatni i gostoljubivi domaćini.

Nice apartment like in a boutique hotels, kind owners, beautiful view, sheeps' bells wakes you up in the morning, very close to village's centre. Better price than hotels in the centre. Excellent place to make a break on trip to islands, do not miss it if you travel in this area.
