Zannos Melathron  

Lovely peaceful setting, beautiful classic interior of main house, and wonderful terrace with amazing views over the island and sea. Tucked away in a cute village next to a ruined castle and photogenic church, away from the tourist masses. Cute and quirky layout of the rooms and hotel as a whole. Our room was set into the rock, which therefore kept cool in the Santorini heat, with a comfortable bedroom and second room with quaint sofa/TV area. Most striking of all, the staff are just amazingly helpful, friendly and obliging - you feel so welcome and that nothing is too much trouble. One can feel that the owner genuinely cares about his hotel, guests and staff, which reflects in the quality of service everywhere. The breakfasts were yummy, with fresh baked bread, croissants etc and à la carte choice, so we could choose anything we wished to have cooked or prepared every day. The service at table was refreshingly attentive and friendly, and the evening meal we had in the hotel restaurant was also excellent, with an explanation given of each course by our waiter. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a romantic classy hideaway, in a peaceful setting.

The Hotel is unique. Every room is different. They have made the rooms without disturbing the original structure which adds to the appeal of the Hotel. Views from the hotel are spectacular. Very friendly staff.

The rooms could have a few more facilities like coffee maker.

Altes Kapitäns-Herrenhaus von 1750 mit Geschichte, die in Artefakten, Möbeln, Frescos usw. lebendig geblieben ist. Ruhige und zentrale Lage in Santorinis ältestem noch bewohntem Dorf, hervorragende Aussicht über Inselnorden und Aegäis. Extrem freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter (auch mit sehr gutem Englisch). Aussergewöhnliche Küche, herrlich gewürzte Gerichte.

Umidità

Lo stile ed il confort. E specialmente il fatto che, in un'isola molto caotica e chiassosa, fosse un'oasi d tranquillità. Si può riposare e lavorare bene anche nei periodi più affollati. Inoltre Pirgos è una località ieale sotto quel profilo.

Non ho reclami nè critiche. Il servizio portineria, probabilmente, va rafforzato perchè la persona presente costantemente sta facendo esperienza ma è ancora in crescita.

η διαδρομή ανεβαίνοντας προς το Zannos Melathron, μέσα από τα λευκά καλντερίμια, μας προετοίμασε για την πολύ ξεχωριστή διαμονή μας. σαν σε παραμυθένιο χωριό φτάσαμε στην είσοδο του αρχονιτκού όπου μας περίμενε ο αλέξανρος με το ζεστό, φιλόξενο χαμόγελο του. το δωμάτιο ήταν ονειρικό όπως και ολόκληρο το αρχοντικό με την εκπληκτική του διακόσμηση και αρχιτεκτονική.το έμεπιρο προσωπικό μας περιποιήθηκε διακριτικά και άξογα ενώ το δείπνο που απολαύσαμε στο φως των κεριών, μέσα στην ξύλινη σάλα ήταν υπέροχο. η θέα από το μπάλκόνι όπου πήραμε το πρωινό μας μαγευτική. η επίσκεψη στο Zannos Melathron ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία μας. συγχαρητήρια!
