mainly the situation. But if you ask for the rooms in upper floor, with a super terrace with an amazing view on the lake
Nothing.But..I hadn't see the rooms in other floor...???
Very Friendly and helpful staff
Room is simple but clean and with all comforts (air-con, patio with lake view, fridge, wi fi). Staff is very friendly and really helpfull
The hotel is in a central but quiet area in this amazing town. It is facing the lake and the sunsets, which makes it the perfect spot for the evening. It is a 3 level simple house, with simple but clean and large rooms. People are only speaking Spanish, and are from helpful (women) to quite indifferent (man at night). No restaurant and no breakfast, but not a problem at all because there are lots of restaurant all around. You don't want to have the rooms on the main floor cause it is to close from the reception and shared areas, which could be noisy as people come back at night and ring at the door. We had the room on the last floor, where the "shared" hotel terrace is. Have rooms 304 or 303 ! But as quite nobody is coming up, you have this huge terrace, facing the lake, for yourselves ! A must for sunsets !
Simple but clean rooms
This hotel was perfect for us 3 girls travelling together. We used Flores as our spot to stay with the main purpose of going to Tikal to explore the ruins. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the location and the wonderful view of the lake from the terrace. We could catch the sunset over the lake, and basically walk anywhere around the small town. We found some very good restaurants very close by. The hotel room itself was nothing fancy, but clean and felt safe. Overall we were pleased with the place, especially for the cost :)
One set back was that none of the hotel staff spoke any English. Communication was a bit tricky, but I should add that they were kind and helpful.
Norma was wonderfully helpful - she went out of her way several times to help us and creatively solved challenges we had.
Hotel is right on the lake, so we had a nice view from our room. Easy walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops. 5 minutes to the Flores airport. Lobby had water for refilling your bottle.
Room as the photo.Clean, spacious and mini fridge with drinks.Patio on the top maybe best view in Flores and lovely place to hang out.Staff very helpful.
As usual lights are very dim, hard to read.
The lovely view across the lake from the top floor balcony, when we eventually found it. The cleanliness and the air conditioning, which was basic but effective. After some initial reserve, the friendliness of the staff.
The thin spray of water from the shower head.
stuff was very friendly and helpful. cool place to stay.
Big, spacious room. Good pillows. Shower gel and shampoo provided. Daily cleaning.
A lot of wifi passwords, but sometimes I couldn't connect to any. Fan was a little noisy.
Worth the money great view
Very little English spoken. Bring google translate. Also the excursions offered (same company) are 50% more expensive than those offered by local hostel (Los amigos).
Rooms were very large with a hot and powerful shower. Great balacony. Air conditioning and fans in the rooms. Comfy beds.
A little dark in the room. No breakfast served.
Wonderful roof top terrace. Our rooms had long wooden balcony overlooking the lake. Great location. Coffee and tea on tap.....
Reception area lacking in atmosphere and basic.
ask for a third floor room on the lakeside, the view is fabulous. the hotel is very clean and peacefull. the room has a refridgerator. staff is friendly and speaks enough english.
i liked everything!
Top floor units had a great balcony overlooking the water. Units were also a good size and handy to most places.
Large room with 2 double beds, very clean, friendly hosts.
Be aware the owners don't speak any English so organizing transport/tours can be difficult, but they really do try to help as much as they can!
nice view, comfortable room, good internet
very small bathroom
Room was large and clean. Hotel is easy to find, and a short walk to anywhere on Flores Island. Staff didnt speak english, but were very helpful and tolerant of our mediocre spanish. It is about 3-5minutes walk to good restaurants, bars, and small supermarket.
Airport pickup wasn't very smooth - the driver was not there, but only his "brother" who knew our name, but had no sign with our name etc. It was ok in the end, but we would prefer to have the driver with sign for us.
The deck was fantastic and just outside our room. The staff were helpful. Nice sized room on 3rd floor.
Bathroom was abit on the basic side. Tea/coffee facilities can be improved.
Great place to stay in Flores, very comfortable with air conditioning. The staff were very helpful despite my poor Spanish.
everything worked beautiful balcony on the 3rd floor nice room, comfortable, helpful staff and great location.
not really a complaint because its well marked but watch your head going up the 3rd floor stairs the name is a bit confusing Casa Azul here but when you arrive its called Casazul,, thought the taxi brought us to the wrong place.
Quite small hotel, big rooms, good AC and WIFI. Good location, not too closed to the possible noise of some bars (this being said the Flores Island is quiet and safe).
Not being able to extend the check out time (but busy season so fair enough).
Comfortable room, with a great terrace and view. The hotel offered free (instant) coffee and tea, though no breakfast. The staff was very helpful in setting up transport to Tikal.
The room itself was quite dark. Another light or two would make a big difference.
