There was a small sitting area on the roof, but no view. They provided bottles of filtered water, but there was no "on-demand" water dispenser to refill the botlles, unlike many other hotels in the area have. We were told by the staff that the complimentary breakfast was only for 2 people even though we were paying for 4 people in our room. As we were leaving very early the next morning and wouldn't be having breakfast, they just applied the 2 free breakfasts for that morning to our bill and called it good. I still think that since we were paying for 4 people in the room, that should also include 4 breakfasts.
The hotel was lovely. The lobby was nicely decorated and very inviting. There was a nice breakfast area and a separate sitting area. We had a room with 2 king beds that was very spacious. The room also had a love seat, coffee table, mini-frig and an armoire. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. The hotel was located about 3-4 blocks from Parque Central, so it was pretty quiet, even on a Friday night. They had a good breakfast- coffee, a fruit plate with fresh OJ, plus the typical Guatemalan breakfast of eggs, queso, beans and fried plantains. The wifi connection was probably the best/fastest connection we had during our entire 2 wks in Guatemala. The natural light in the room was minimal, as the room was down a hallway, but it was offset by plenty of lights by each bed.
