An amazingly beautiful building, very well cared for, an odd and special experience in many ways. .We stayed 8 nights and were often the only people there. Lights very dim and furniture sparse, loo kept blocking. One night here would be great -- more than that is a bit depressing. The pool is out of action.

Private but within walking distance to market, activities, night life, city center. Beautiful old building. Included breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Comfortable room. When I asked about the free bus that takes tourists to finca filadelphia the man at the desk told me that it no longer ran from Antigua but that he could arrange transportation. He then called a friend of his who charged $25.00 American for a trip that should cost $5.00 for a taxi. I then found out that the free bus still runs 4 times a day, so consierge service is dishonest. The gardens are beautiful but some outside seating, including pool chairs would be nice. Overall a positive experience. Just do your own research regarding local attractions and transportation. There are many local tourist agencies that will help with accurate information.

El lugar es encantador y está bien cuidado. El personal atento y amable. Las condiciones de la piscina son malas, no me animé a entrar porque se notaba que no tenía mantenimiento. Es una lástima porque el jardín es lindo y la piscina de muy buen tamaño.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Hotel im Spanischen Kolonialstil mit bepflanzten Innenhöfen. Von unserem Zimmer (Nr. 7) hatten wir einen fantastischen Blick auf den Vulkan Aqua. Sehr angenehm war auch, dass das Hotel über einen eigenen uneinsichtigen Gratisparkplatz verfügt. Um die Ecke, in der 4. Calle, liegen gute Restaurants und der bekannte Süßwarenladen Dona Maria Gordillo und die Bäckerei/Café Dona Luisa Xicotencatl mit herrlichem Bananenbrot.

No tiene las comodidades de un hotel 5 estrellas pero es una vieja casona muy agradable y con muy buena atención,especialmente de Luis,un hombre orquesta que se ocupa de todo. Las galerias que dan al viejo patio son hermosas y merecerian tener cómodos sillones para estar.

O Hotel eh maravilhoso muito bem mantido, e tem estilo unico. Tivemos o azar de em uma de nossas noites haver uma festa de casamento a poucos metros dos quartos, a festa durou a madrugada toda, vale a pena se informar do calendario de eventos antes de reservar.
