La cortesia e disponibilità del personale, la struttura dell'hotel accogliente e comoda, il giardino bellissimo, fiorito e curato, la piscina pulitissima. C'è inclusa una discreta colazione; non c'è molta scelta ma si mangia bene spendendo poco al ristorante. Vicino ad agenzie, banche, supermercati, negozi e taxi

Il solo difetto è non essere sul lago

Il personale è disponibile e gentile, la struttura è carina dignitosa e pulita.

La colazione è piuttosto scarsa.

For that price you can get much better hotel in the same region! We got a room facing the street and in the morning you feel like sleeping in the middle of the traffic. Saturday night the nearby disco will party untill early morning so forget about sleeping! The structure of the hotel is nice but starts to look old. Continental breakfast is decent if you don't know what you could get in other hotels for the same price or even less! I really do not recommend it!

Hotel Mansion del Rio location is good to start your boat trip from Rio Dolce to the national park to Livingston (lago de Izabal). It has a private and secure car park. The outdoor restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) has a nice view over the lake so had the room (with balcony) which we had and was on the second floor. The hotel provides a lot of equipment to enjoy (peddalo’s, kayaks, and Mountain bikes)

Hotel Mansion del Rio is a bit out of ‘town’ and one would need its own transport to get there and away. Internet access is very limited and was at the time of staying only available in the reception and the open bar on the ground floor and the first floor in the same area. Although the hotel claims it is available access was intermitted! The hotel provides a lot of equipment to enjoy including Mountain bikes, we were however not allowed to cycle outside the gate. The music around the swimming pool is probably great for teen-agers but far too loud for anybody else.

The staff was extremely accommodating with every request as well as happy to make suggestions for restaurants and things to do.

I have nothing negative to say about the hotel.

Restaurant and restaurant staff were good.

Hotel and rooms dated. Laundry service poor. Reception staff unhelpful. Dive shop overpriced compared to the dive shop right next to it. Hotel not value for money, would not recommend.

It was very noisy until 1 a.m. while the restaurant in the hotel was opened.

The hotel is very quiet and pleasurable. The owner is always taking care of her guest. Late check out was possible even on Sunday (not very common for a small hotel in Guatemala) They treat my family like royalty!!

If Guatemala is famous for the coffee, the coffee should be better. Don't get me wrong, the breakfast was very good, just a little more attention on the small detail..:)

Everything, old, very noisy, not really clean.

We could stay as a family of five in one room.

Our door didnt actually lock from the outside, which wasn't great for when we ventured out. The check in staff was unfriendly. The whole place was rather run down - its 'heyday" was quite some time ago.

the location is not the best; while traveling to isla de flores, the best option is to stay at the isla. If not, the hotel is a good alternative.

The Mayaland Plaza is in Santa Elena, just across the bridge from Flores. It is a simple and rustic hotel that is very clean and has an excellent staff and offers great service. I highy recommend the hotel for those reasons and it also offers an excellent value. It is a 5 minute walk to Flores but the hotel is clean, comfortable as it has cable, AC and hot showers and offers a good breakfast in the morning in the courtyard with all of the plants and pool. The owner is also incredibly nice and will make sure that you have a good stay in Flores. I enjoyed my stay a lot and the staff was great.

It exceeded all expectations. It is a short walk to the island of Flores but other than that everything was very good.

The room was old and needs repainting and new furniture. At $66 us I was very disappointed with the room. It was very overpriced, (but it was Easter Saturday and the place seemed to have very few guests) considering it is advertised as a "Flores" location but is at about 20 minutes walk over the causeway to Flores.
