EVERYTHING !! The location next door to the Sunday Market is excellent. The Staff are so so friendly and helpful. I was give a card with the name of my "right-hand-man" who both served me at dinner and then went to light the open wood fire in the room.

Enjoyed the decor, nice bar area, good service, helpful staff, great location for visiting the market at Chichicastenango. Great to have a fireplace for the chilly mountain nights:)

Plumbing is old and a bit temperamental. No counter space in bathroom.

The town chichicastenango is at best, a day trip. Visit this town from a surrounding area such as Panajachel. The place is like the twilight zone as the locals are not friendly and the place is disgusting. I paid the same amount to stay in a beautiful hotel on lake Atitlan. The staff was very friendly but the rooms here are way too expensive for what you get. There was a two inch gap under the door which never allowed the room to warm up despite the raging fire we had all night. Couldn't pay me to stay overnight in this town again.

Office staff could do with smile therapy. The office was closed on the last evening as was the bar. Had to hassle for hot water for tea. Even though there are men at the door most of the time, the door to the hotel area should be locked as in all other locations in Guatemala. Many times the door was not attended. A hotel with beautiful furniture, but way overpriced for the service received. We only stayed here as a last resort...highly recommend Posada el Arco for those wishing to stay in Chichi...much better value for money unless you are from the super slick crowd who want to FEEL that you are in a luxe place.

Chambre 12 à l'étage avec vue sur la vallée, débordant de meubles sombres de style rococo espagnol (2 lits à la literie très moyenne, 1 bureau, 1 chaise, 1 table basse, 2 fauteuils, 1 armoire, 1 coffre à bois et, c'est rare pour être noté, 2 supports à bagages) ; une cheminée où il est possible d'allumer le feu le soir, bien agréable à plus de 2000m

135$ la nuit, c'est le double d'un prix raisonnable compte tenu des prestations et de l'environnement : pas de télévision, ni d'eau en bouteille dans la chambre ; Chichicastenango ne présentant comme intérêt que son marché dominical, l'hôtel manque de clients et le restaurant s'en ressent : viande à la limite de l'avarié (malgré seulement 2 choix, boeuf ou poulet), beurre rance à tous les repas. Le personnel quémande de façon pressante un pourboire.

El personal es muy servicial, cortés, amigable y educado. El tener la chimenea en el cuarto es muy rico. Nos aceptaron con dos perritos pomerania sin problema!!

Las camas muy pequeña y de largo tuvimos problemas de acomodarnos.

Le personnel très gentil et disponible. La chambre est spacieuse avec le soir un feu de cheminée très agréable car les soirées sont très fraîche.

Restaurant avec peu de choix et pas très gastronomique ,mais sympa pour l ambiance avec les serveurs en costume traditionnel et le feu dans la cheminée ! Salle de bain un peu vieillotte avec les robinets qui tombent dans la baignoire .
