I loved the antique furniture, atmospheric candles and beautiful decor. The bed was like a marshmallow and the dinners were superb. I had a fantastic and relaxing stay.

The attention to detail. Captures the essence of Antigua. One of the most romantic rooms I have slept in on our travels. Short pleasant walk to the main area.

Biggest mistake was to only stay here one night.

EVERYTHING! No, seriously, everything. I can't say enough about this place. It is by far one of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was perfection, the hotel was perfection. Great location, great staff, great ambiance. Every detail was beautiful, even the products they supply (shampoo, shower gel etc.). They focus on local textiles, and furniture which is a lovely bonus. We had a small walk-out patio that was adorable.

The only potential downside for some travellers is that the room is quite small, however everything else makes up for this!

Super sylish hotel. Very attentive staff. Wonderful setting.Good food but a little overpriced as most reastaurants in town.

Very small pool. Too many loud US-Gringos who don't know how to behave in an upmarket environment.

A unique and rare hotel. The decor was so original, beautiful furniture, artwork and flowers, stone stairways, hammocks,a pleasure around each corner. Very wonderful nightly music entertainment, along with delicious cuisine. The staff was a pleasure to be with, they made you happy just to see them.

Great ambiance. Best restaurant in town. Wonderful wine and tapas on roof each evening with outstanding view of volcano. Boutique quality in every respect. Musical performances in evenings and nice art gallery. Staff always very helpful.

We have only positive things to say about this hotel----- need to stay at least 3 or 4 nights!

This is a beautiful boutique stylish hotel.with a quirky lay out. The furnishings and garden courtyard are lovely. The food at the restaurant is of very high quality the steak are fantastic. In a quiet part of the city

We were given the smallest of the double rooms which did have its own little garden area but was accessed through the restaurant/bar area. It was very small, with nowhere really to put clothes or luggage.the room had a small gas fireplace however we did not really trust it. I also got a shock off one of the lamps. Shame the roof terrace is only accessable from 4-7pm for cocktails. Please note the pool is really not for using! Its in the restaurant area and not accessable during restaurant hrs.its a water feature! I should have loved everything but for some reason it fell a little short.

this is a hotel without hallways. It has stairs that lead to terraces with spectacular views and hidden rooms. Staff clean floors twice a day, are friendly, enthusiastic and always smiling and made me feel welcoming. Huge plants everywhere and the space is awesome.

nada...I give Panza Verda high marks

The shuttle was there on time, we entered the beautiful hotel and they greeted us with fruit punch and an upgrade room because the inn was not full. The desk clerks were wonderful especially Marian. The breakfast was very nice and the sweet lady who was in charge was the cutest and pleasant person eventhough we did not speak each others language she connected with us with her smiles. They had wonderful music almost every night and the dinner was very good and they surprised us with anniversary cake. Also, yoga classes almost every morning It was Wonderful in every way. We stayed at the Santa Domingo and was very cold and only had live music 2 nights and my husband did not like the dinner menu We stayed at Meson Panza Verde in 2010 and it was even better this trip. Linda and Jeff Wilhelms

    We had to leave.

Hotel is very nice looking. Presentation of land scape with the pool is beautiful. All tends to follow well with the colonial aspect of the town. Bathroom was also very nice and bed was super comfortable. Was probably one of the best beds I've slept on.

Felt service was a bit poor in terms of the front desk. No one helped with our luggage when checking into the hotel. Internet service wifi was a bit poor. For what I paid, I felt like Porta Antigua Hotel just around the corner was a much better organized hotel. Service was top notch and I felt that I was priority not just my money.

Great boutique hotel. Rooms are lovely. We had 104, 1st floor, a suite with a private garden patio. The staff is terrific and helped with airport transport, side trips, cell phone purchase. Very nice restaurant. Morning breakfast is adequate + can order from kitchen if you prefer larger breakfast. Dona Blanca brings in pitchers or fresh OJ and coffee on her head!! breakfast room is very nice and cozy. Cannot say enough about the great rooftop terraces. various levels and seating areas all w/views. Hotel a short 3 blocks to central park/square - where it is all happening. This hotel is like an architect's jewel. My words can't fully describe it. Pls look at some of the pictures on internet! Even then they don't do it justice.
