The owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating, the rooms were huge and clean and the garden was great.
Very friendly helpful staff. The location can't be beat. Right by the lake. We didn't get the lake view rooms because they were all booked but I got to check out the views and they were lovely. There's also a fabulous place for breakfast just across the street and towards the dock a few hundred feet where you can dine practically on the water. The wifi worked well the entire time and while the shower was a bit on the run down side, the water was hot. This hotel is definitely not in its prime anymore - but it's a good value for the money lake view location
The beds, much like pretty much every other budget hotel in Pana, could use some refreshing. The hotels also right next to someone's backyard - so there is some rooster crowing to be dealt with in the morning. But it's not so bad.
cheap price good wi-fi wonderfull view of the Lake (room #1) great balcony Cute garden
room not so clean very noisy early in the morning (dogs bark, cars, etc.) we didn't use the pool
needs some updating.
It had wifi Large rooms Hot water Close to lake
Our reservation was not listed as reserved. The rooms were dirty and the pillow cases still had other people's hair on them. The bed sheets had holes in them and were stained. There was no "fresh," drinking water in the room, as advertised. The bathroom toilet kept leaking/making noise. For the price, it's not worth it. (Unless you are going with several people and splitting the price. If not, stay at a hostel. Save the money, and spend it elsewhere).
Staff were nice and helpful. Balcony with lakeview. Big bed and spacious room. Good value for money.
I saw mosquitoes in the room.No fan. Inside of the cabinets and drawers not so clean, found hairs.
Very close to lake nice clean and friendly
Pool was not clean maybe couse raining weather
location by the lake, woth views from balcony of lake/volcanoes; rustic furnishings and decoration; exotic garden; helpful staff; fantastic value for money
concrete building next door partially blocked view of San Pedro volcano; no restaurant on site
If you take rooms 1-5 or 26 you will a nice view of Atitlan lake. We stayed at room 2 and it was perfect. Location is good. It has even a small swimming pool and a talking parity and nice small garden.
Room is large and spacious. Large bed. Large balcony (room 2).
No place to sit down in the room - chair and table. There is one on the balcony tho.
We had a large balcony with the beautiful view of the lake (you must ask rooms 1 to 5 or room 26). The room was cleaned every day and towels replaced daily. Sick was working in the room. The hotel has a beautiful garden, a swimming pool and even a talking bird. The location is 5 min walk from Santander street.
I did not like to check out, I would stay more...
Location, withinn 5 min to main street. Room, spacious with all amenities Kingsize bed Large balcony with beautiful view of the lake and volcanos Beautiful garden Quiet locatio
Great view. Very helpful staff but note they don't speak english. Cheap but amazing room (fireplace and balcony)
Slightly off the centre but panajachel is not so lively anyway
Nice quiet hotel...with terrace and view on the lake. Large bedroom. Manager helped me to find transportation...Great.
Friendly and helpful staff, very close to ferry dock and most comfortable bed of our entire trip!
Room with balcony and huge bed.
A bit dusty a a dark walk home from town centre. Otherwise fine.
The price of the hotel is probably its best plus. It is next to the lake, which is on the otherside of the street in the front of the hotel. But unless you book an expensive room, you won't get any nice view and won't see the lake. The location is nice to flip flop to one of the lake bars and have a sunset beer. The location is a bit to walk to the good restaurants. It has a free private hotel parking streetside.
Rooms had no view, no real window. The rooms you will get as an online booker are not the ones from the pictures. The rooms you will get are old and not well maintained. The rooms are not very clean and have not much comfort and now airconditioning. It is okay for the price, but does not match the pictures. The pool is dirty and I really did not want to swim in it.
Really nice hotel wih friendly staff. The first night we had a huge room with lake view. However the second night, which we booked in the hotel directly, we stayed in a smaller room which was quite noisy. The staff is very helpfull!
Wonderful tropical gardens with amazing variety of plants, talkative parrot, miscellaneous collections of wooden carvings, hard working Nicolas, large rooms with great fireplaces and an interesting owner.
A little past its best, but still very good value.
Plugged toilets. The place has never been dusted-it's thick everywhere. Missing light bulbs & hard to get toilet paper. Go somewhere else.
There were very few people staying so I was given a big room in the front with fireplace and view of the lake.
It was a bit out of the way and - as a solo traveller - it did not seem too safe around there.
Great host, assisted greatly wih organising things for us. Lovely large rooms
The amazing views of the room
Great location with beautiful view of Lake Atitlan.
Great room with a wonderful view looking over the lake, very helpful staff, breakfast included, close to lots of restaurants and easy walk to lake and main shopping street
Room a bit dirty and dark at night (lots of lights not working)
