The facilities, the food, the service. Elegant enviroment.
The Pool was supossed to be climatized. Water was too cold.
Everything was perfect on our second stay as we were heading out of Guatemala. The staff, the food, the property. Highly recommended!!!!
Everything about this hotel was breathtaking, from the scenery to the beautiful flowers and trees on their property, to the pool and our rooms. The service was top notch. The vegetarian food option was amazing as well! We will be back.
The location of the hotel was really good & central to the park. We were recommended a really good restaurant to have Christmas dinner in, which really made our day. The sauna & pool facilities were excellent. The room was pristine & really nice bathroom products were available. The beds are super comfy!!!
At times the staff were a bit lax. We made inquiries regarding our bus out of Antigua & were informed by reception staff that the company did not do pick ups, which was not accurate information. We asked the hotel staff to order us a taxi instead which never arrived. This ordeal made getting out of Antigua more stressful than it needed to be.
We have stayed at the hotel for many years and feel at home. This time unfortunately services were not quite up to usual standards....
The rooms are well appointed but dark and the one window is small. We have stayed in the Annex before, actually since it opened, and were always happy with the privacy and the lap pool, but this time there were several families with small children who took the space over completely. It was impossible to use the pool; the parents allowed their children to run wild whooping and screaming, one couldn't even take a nap in peace. Families with small children should not be allowed in the small space of the Annex! We also found that the hotel services in general were no longer as good as before. The dining terrace, which has always been a lovely place for everything from full meals to a nice cup of coffee, was not as well run. The breakfast buffet was still excellent, but a la carte food was not as good. One afternoon we wanted a coffee and perhaps a piece of cake and were given lukewarm coffee and cake was not on the menu.. we had crepes that were not freshly made and hardly edible. Tables and chairs were not efficiently added or taken away.. often just stacked up in plain sight of the diners rather haphazardly. I shall probably reconsider staying there next time!
They might need some security staff to help secure the place during power cuts.
The entire experience was excellent
I did not dislike anything.
The romos, the location
The buffet was very bad. I felt in general the hotel is overpriced.
Nice grounds & pool
No A/C. No windows.
The Hotel is noisy due to it's proximity to some busy streets.
excellent hotel when you travel with kids. Pool is resonable big, playground superb. Design of hotel is very, very well composed - my appreciation for the architect. End the green/plants - it's marvelous, really outstanding. Variety of food is brillant as well, especially breakfasts.
- Very comfortable - Given the comfort level, I think it was a good value - Great location, within a couple blocks of the central square - Terrific breakfast (though it costs extra) - Let me check in a couple hours before official check in time
- Wifi not always stable enough for internet calls. It was however, plenty fast compared with other hotels I stayed at in Central America
the location, the staff, the food their reliability, the hotal and grounds
the hardness of the matress not all the rooms are bright
