Porta Hotel Antigua    

Nice location in the beautiful city of Antigua. A good swimmingpool with an excellent restaurant. Nice and clean rooms.

The hotel is really lovely. I liked the lap pool. It has a good location - near the center, but not too noisy. The staff is very helpful. I loved the pool, garden, birds. The breakfast buffet was also the best. I felt like this was a wonderful introduction to Guatemala and Antigua.

Information from the staff was sometimes contradictory. One member of our party said he didn't use the wifi because he had been told that it was $13.00 a day. I had been using it for free! The first two days there we got water bottles in th bathroom. The second time we were there, we didn't get them on the second day, and we were told that you only got free bottles the first day. Then we got them on the other days. Also, I wanted to make reservations for the last two days of my trip, but there was nothing available for the second day, so I just asked for the first day and to be one a waiting list for the second day. Several days later, I decided to get two days elsewhere, so I tried to cancel the one day, but they couldn't find the reservation at all. It didn't matter as I had a reservation elsewhere, but it made me wonder what had happened.

Everithing, wonderfull place, marvalous experience!

Everything! I escorted a group of dentists for Familias de Esperanza. When they entered the hotel they were amazed at the beauty, hospitality, cleanliness and the attentive staff. The breakfast was fantastic (could add bacon) and your hotel was a major reason that they fell in love with Antigua and are eager to come back and work with the families under the care of Familias.

We have no complaints at all.

It's beautiful.

There wasn't a fire-starter in the room. There is not a hot tub and the pool is not heated.

It was nice, just that who ever booked the suites for me, gave suites far from each other. We wanted to be together and it was too far form each other room.

Decaf coffee was horrible. My mom's car windshield was broken in the parking lot.

I liked the hotel, I just didn't like that I was not given what this website offered me, for the price I paid I feel like what I was priced was a rip off.

It's a beautiful hotel with excellent & friendly staff. Food is great! I've been there on many occasions and will return, however will not use booking, com. Too much problems changing dates, and room description was off!

Front desk staff was a bit challenging due to booking with booking .com.

It was a beautuful hotel...Nice pool...Nice sauna....Good food...Overall it was a good experience

Internet Not included...Or breakfast not included for such an expensive stay per night.

The setting is just perfect- tasteful and comfortable. Food was good as well.

We loved Porta Hotel Antigua. The staff is excellent. The grounds are beautiful and we loved the parrots outside our window. The pool is very nice and everything is close in proximity. We recommend this hotel to families as there is a playground. We simply loved it.

We loved everything about Porta Hotel Antigua on our first visit. We had a room with a balcony and view of the pool and grounds. Our second stay we took a room on the inside of the courtyard and it was close to the outside wall by the street and the traffic noise all night was terrible. We did not rest at all.

I has2 rooms with 2 adults and 4 small children. Te rooms were at a location without facilitéis for children and Baby troller. They couldnt vive me another room. This hotel is bad for families with babies.

Excellent, friendly and accommodating staff. 4 star value.
