Dinner. I had the fish and it was perfect.
Breakfast was scanty, though the help is nice. During B-fast maids swept dirt down the stairs (I was underneath) and then, mopped with very stinky stuff--the main "lobby"...so it was strange, altogether. Also this hotel is VERY VERY far from the Mercado. YOU said it was very near, so I had a rousing 14 block hike each way....I had fun and I'm glad I went..I would stay at the SPRING HOTEL next time.....Not so creepy!
This hotel advertised to have many facilities they didn't. I had booked the deluxe room but I was put in a standard room instead. It was only after I had confronted them that I was not in the room that I had paid for, that they admitted they didn't have any deluxe rooms left, yet they happily took my money for a deluxe room instead of standard anyway. They claimed they had never received my booking though I did myself receive the booking email from booking.com and I'm confident they had received the email, but denied it to cover up their attempted theft and deliberate deceiving. Not only highly immortal, but also criminal. Absolutely disgusted with both the hotel and it's staff. I would certainly not recommend.
To much notice with party at hotel and after the party staff cleaning it was like 2am and dishes were being washed
Room was clean, well equipped, and functional, but small--service was good--location very close to the 3 1st class bus lines I use in Zone 1--Nice little restaurant. The price and hotel were acceptable for the area. I'll stay occasionally again when I make regular trips from home in Xela to airport and return.
Noisy until 2100-2200h--4 floors with no elevator.
Very inexpensive and had a restaurant right there so you didn't have to walk where it was unsafe. Bed was comfortable. TV was very nice and wifi was great. Very nice to have a refrigerator
Cockroaches, no hot shower, no desk or table in the room to put your computer
Every thing was okey
Nothing to complain
Everythıng wsa all rıght
Notının to complaın
location price friendly
Most convenient and the fact that it had a cafeteria was a plus, the staff was very friendly
The lack of computer services was a total and complete shame, we live in an era where this is a must, specially for the traveler!
Well I liked the owner and staff very nice people the food in the restaurant was good the live music was great and Wi Fi was great to have.
Well some times there was no worm water to take a shower, and there is too much noise example People talking load opening doors closing doors making loud noise . Music tell 10:30pm in the restaurant. From 7:00am to 10:00pm YOU CAN'T GET ANY SLEEP!
Only the staff
Location. Very dangerous if you walk alone at nights near hotel area
Central location in the heart of the historic area, zone 1. All things considered, I thought it was good value for the money with acceptable facilities. My stay consisted of arriving very late and leaving very early the next morning, so I didn't have much experience with the facilities, other than staying in the room overnight. The hotel provided sample-size soap and shampoo, clean towels, and luke-warm water in the shower (better than cold). When I asked at the desk for them to call a taxi for my trip to the bus terminal, I was introduced to a man who was already there, offering his taxi service. Apparently he only serves guests of the hotel and he was quite professional, courteous, helpful and pleasant and is fee was quite reasonable. That means a lot when the alternative is grabbing a cab off the street which can be a little dicey sometimes.
The first room I received was nice enough, except for an intense chemical smell, similar to some cleaning products. There was no way I could stay there and immediately I asked for a different room. They gave me a different room which was fine. For some reason it was set up with 3 beds, so there was barely room to move about. But, then again, I was given that room as a last minute, late night room switch. It wasn't intended for a single occupant. The room was on 4th floor. There's no elevator, so beware if that is an issue. The most annoying thing was the non-stop and loud street noises that began about 5:30 am. After that began, I couldn't sleep. An inside room probably wouldn't have this issue.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was big and quite comfortable. City location was good.
It was noisy early in the morning.the room lacked ventilation though this may not be the case with all the rooms, we didn't.t have a window to the outside.
