The rooftop hot tub - Amazing! But weird access....
Needs an "up-lift" a bit tired
great location in zona 10, close to airport and restaurants. the rooms are big and comfortable.
Close to airport..room was large...no real breakfast...snacks and coffee
We couldn't get the ac to change temps and was stuck on one cooler temp..ask front desk and they said that was the way it was...shottlt to airport was great and on time..no 5 star, but fine for one night..
Picked up at airport by very pleasant gentleman.
When I arrive on Saturday night there was a private part in progress. The music was extremly loud. I was assured I would not hear it in my room. Wrong. The room was practically vibrating. When I complained it was told it was a private party and the music would thump on until after 12. It was eventually turned down slightly. Not a happy guest.
I like the room: huge, clean and comfortable. also the international breakfast was excellent!
This is a four -star hotel standard . Everywhere in the world such as the Radisson . No need to hold surprise. The cleaning staff were very friendly and attentive.
Beds very comfy Large rooms Nice bathrooms Staff friendly Roof terrace views
Nothing we didnt like
Good relatively safe location, view from the roof is amazing
Hotel showing a some ware
Location in the Business District. The Shuttle Driver is The nicest person.
The Hotel is really run down. The carpet in our room was so dirty that You didnt want to walk on it. The Wall colour comes down The walls. Bathroom was not very clean. Our room was totally darf. Staff doesn't speak enough english. Front desk is not very helpful. All in all it is the worst Radisson I have ever been to!
Excelent Location, Room
No pool, no bar.
We, and our Guatemalan family all felt welcomed, and we loved the 19th floor terrace.
1. That when I called down to the front desk to ask about transportation to the airport the next morning, several times the front desk person used the phrase "Mam, it's like I told you. . ." in a rather disrespectful tone of voice. 2. That our room was next to the loud non-stop hotel generators.
All was so good and just go and stay as long as You want.
courtesy of staff, view from room, cleanliness of room, smoking rooms available
high price to restock wet bar ($3.00 per can)
We stayed there for several Times Roms with wodden- floor we prefer!
Location was good and close to souvenir shops. Great coffee and breakfast place nearby.
Everything was awesome. The staff made it memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel
Having to wait for ten minutes before the water turns hot in the shower. The air conditioning that would not cool below 80 degrees. Having to choose between a room with hardly any daylight and another right above the social area where a party was to be had until midnight.
The non management staff are very helpful.
The attitude of the staff on this occasion was rude. No wake up call as requested. I am sorry that my recent experiences at this Radisson and the Radisson in Panama has put me off this chain in Latin America.
Hassle-free airport pick-up, simple check-in and a spacious room in the heart of Zona 10. It's away from the centre, and the term "Zona Viva" is a little misleading, but this is the most tourist-friendly part of Guatemala City where you can walk safely at night. The room was a little tired, but fine and spacious. The rooftop jacuzzi was small but it has great views over the city, and the gym was well-equipped and empty. Other Radisson hotels are of higher spec, but you can't complain when you're paying £40/night for a hotel that would be 3 or 4 times as much in London. I liked it enough to stay again on my return to Guatemala City.
Wi-fi was a little erratic, and the bathroom was slightly dated. The mini-bar was empty too and the carpet was ever-so-slightly frayed in parts. However, these were very small niggles. The hotel is great value for money and in a great location.
big rooms but make sure to ask for the largest one available. great location, good breakfast, nice staff.
The beds were very comfortable The rooms were well equipped with fridge and microwave and breakfast area in our suite. The staff were very helpful even when we couldn't locate our baggage check for left luggage.
GREAT bed, excellent service, decent value especially if you book a few weeks ahead. In principal this place is very good value, safe for a single woman traveller and there are good restaurants nearby. The bed is soft and there are safes, microwaves, refrigerator, drinking water and an ironing board in the rooms.
On one visit I had great pillows, on another I asked housekeeping to THROW AWAY 2 lumpy ones. The food was just OK, I had the breakfast buffet and lunch a la carte and unless you're stuck for time or it's late, there are abundant places to eat nearby and at far cheaper prices. $20 for lunch in Guatemala is outrageous. There is a small store 40ft away on the corner for snacks, a Burger King across the road from store and an AMAZING coffee bar called Caffeine by Burger King. Ahead of a 14-hour day of travel, as a backup to my phone I requested a wake up call at 8:15 and instead was woken at 6:20! Don't use this service!
Great location, food was good
I had problems getting on line, on one occasion someone had to come up to the room to get the system working
