눉Hotel value is 60-80 USD/ night not 300 USD, extremely bad service
Bad value for the money and lots of extra charges.
e.g. much too few sun loungers and sun shades, however there are extras available for upcharge or no WiFi for free in the room (consider the total daily rate…!)
Breakfast comes at 27.50 USD p.P. is ok (not so much variety), however service was lame and unconsiderative (e.g. we have a baby and needed to wait for a baby chair for > 5 minutes, we needed to ask and wait for extra tissues (no proactiveness of the staff, at all)
Even though there was seating outside/ beachside it was not allowed to have breakfast there ( you have to sit in the cold inside).
Also the pool bar closes at 6 pm, afterwards you do not get served and are not allowed to eat outside either. Would also be too nice to enjoy the nice sunset while eating, if you can also sit in the cold and dark service desert of the 1st floor…! ;-)
no bellman service when we arrived – my wife pregnant travelling with our baby son had to carry our luggage in the hotel ourselves – besides large inconvenience a nice welcome…!
The entertainment system (TV channels) worked only to a small extend. No movies, apparently the provider cancelled the contract. The hotel declared “that the hotel does not have to provide such entertainment”. Again, funny considering the rate. When I complained after all I got a DVD player and some movies for my boy.
I read so many good recommendations about this hotel before booking it myself. Afterwards I wondered whether those were fake or the people going there have just so few hotel experience or are simply so tolerant and do not care. After I complained heavily (2 days the hotel management tried to hide from me ) things got a little better, but in any case this place has a serious value for money and bad service issue…! I would never go there again!!! Guam as such is nice, also Tumon Bay. This was our luck However the hotel was not!!!
