No space to put away clothes. The room was miniscule.
Noisy and definitely old fashioned need a lifting
It would have been much better if the PVC shower curtain was replaced by glass sliding door. The curtain kept hitting on you while having shower.
Value for money for couple or couple with small kid...
1. Lifts are so pathetic...... 2. Rooms are too small....
- excellent hotel for good money - fantastic pool on the roof - free buss shuttle to the metro station - good location
- there was no 2 same rooms on one floor (problem for larger group of friends) - there is a problem when you try to check in a little bit earlier
Staff were very friendly. Good value buffet breakfast.
Waiting for the lifts. Lot of time wasted waiting to travel between floors. No idea why.
-No cockroaches (we didn't see one) -It's clean compared to the general appearance of HK -polite and honest staff compared generally to the people in HK -the location is pretty accessible -I would recommend a stay here if you're planning to visit HK one day
-Nothing really much from the hotel, but generally just the ambience and rude people in Hong Kong. It is by far the most uncomfortable place we ever visited. Not planning to go back.
I liked the location of the hotel
Room too small, room rates are high, most staff is not friendly, breakfast spread and taste is not good
Location, view from the room and breakfast was ok....best thing was the wi fi...
Room was so small and without a wardrobe you had no where to store your cases which reduced the space to move around even more.
Staff - friendly and helpful
Layout of the room - too cluttered
relatively central location and great harbour views
very small rooms, very pure breakfast
Staff is there for you! In regards of booking, check-in before the time, advice of signseeing, cleaning room... Location was so easy to find! Close by to the nightlife places!
Room was too small for European standard! Sink was out from bathroom. And was no proper place to open the luggage! However the view from windows was amasing!!
Convenient location Helpful concierge service. Fast wi-fi
The breakfast was cold, offered little choice and used inferior ingredients. They would be better to go for a simple continental breakfast, or increase the price and offer a decent buffet. This was a disappointment for westerners and Chinese alike. Also, there was not enough light to read in the bedroom. I had to ask for a bedside light.
The room and bathroom sizes, were awfully small. Asked for a better room with no worries about paying an extra rate. They claimed that all the rooms are exactly this size. Awfully uncomfortable room and bathroom space.
For a hotel which is a globally recognised name, it was rather disappointing on so many levels. 1) Staff were inexperienced and unprofessional - we arrived to check in relatively late at night due to our late flight arrival (we had already advised the hotel of this). After spending a considerable amount of time searching and asking various colleagues, the concierge staff member informs us that there are no more rooms available except for one on the smoking level. He proceeded to ask us whether it would be alright that we stayed in the smoking room despite our booking request for a NON-smoking room. It was interesting that he was then able to find a non-smoking room after we refused to stay in the smoking room. When we arrived at our room there was a member of staff standing outside staring at us. As soon as we opened the door and without speaking a word, he barged in to check something in the mini-bar then left immediately. It was late and we did not appreciate having our personal space invaded by a male without explanation. Clearly the staff were not very diligent and inconsiderate of guest requests. 2) Despite having four guest lifts they were extremely small and slow. If you lived in the middle floors they would always be full. Always faster taking the service lift. 3) Rooms were tiny and there was a foul smell (like sewerage) in the bathroom. The beds need a serious replacement as the springs were digging into my back the whole night. I woke up with intense back pain, thank goodness we only stayed one night. I have stayed at plenty of other 3 star hotels with better service and maintenance.
Easy to get to diffent places though public trasportation
Rooms to small
Wifi available in rooms
beds too hard, bathroom too small, room too small
Excellent location. Real Hong Kong community. Quaint shops operated by elderly owners.
Very small rooms. Dim lighting in room. Not possible to read.
The breakfast can be a little better.
Perfect hotel in a more local part of Hong Kong Island. I would go here again.
Small rooms, perfect for 1 person. With 2 it´s do-able, since you only sleep and shower there.
Swimming pool on top Highh tea with asian snacks
Waiting for elevators
Great location and you are getting what you paid for which is nice.
Elevator could take some time to arrive sometimes.
WiFi was good the best about the hotel staff were pretty good. Not so great about telling you how to use the buses, always steering you to take a taxi when bus was very good
Room size was very small the shower room was minuscule, with the wash hand basin within the entrance to the room. No wardrobe just hooks on the wall. No place to empty case always had to get case from under bed and place it onto the bed, not enough draws for clothes
Shuttle bus from Hong Kong station has a stop opposite the hotel and runs every 20 minutes. The view to the harbor is ok from approximately 20 floor and up. The breakfast was ok but not overwhelming. Internet was running very well and free.
Hotel shuttle bus hav a time-table but it was changed as the staf like! I have never seen such a small refrigerator. There was only room for 4 cans of drinks:
