The staff was very helpful. Our room was clean.
I can hear people talking from the other room. It needs soundproof walls.
Room sizes are very small
room design, no heating, cannot open window which causes condensation in the room
good staff,nice hotel ,grat location
Decorations outside the room
1. The Room was too small and was far from what was displayed on pictures on booking.com. 2. The basin was inside the room, not in the bathroom. It was always wet all around after using it. 3. A Very small window as if it is somewhere in a basement rather than on the11th floor. Couldn't be opened. 4. The Bathroom door which made a lot of noise and required a hard push when you are sliding it. Never could be closed tightly. Overall, it is not 4star Hotel as they claim.
The service, the location, the decor.
Room too tight, no dresser with drawers.
Rooms smelt of damp
Excellent pillows. Corner room overlooking park.
Elevators a bit slow.
Fast check-in, friendly staffs and perfect place to stay in metro.
No fitness. No pool.
Fantastic location on Hollywood Rd, surrounded by various restaurants and bars, walking distance to the mid levels escalator, Lan Kwai Fong, Sheung Wan MTR Very comfortable bed Staff very friendly Good free wifi
The room is on the small side but that is to be expected at this price point, perfectly adequate for 1-2 people without much luggage. The room is not the most sound proof, I had very noisy neighbours next door with screaming children at midnight. TV channels are very limited.
Staff are friendly, location is good and rooms are clean
Good for business trip where you don't sleep in. Walls are thin, you can hear noises from next room
Small Bathroom. Wash basin near the table and water spilling out when in use.
Staff were very friendly and helpful! It is a very good value for money.
Location was a little far from the MTR station.
Stay here regularly when in hk. Always great. Great location. Better when its cheeper. Ive stayed at £125 and£52 depends on the date
Perfect location, nice interior design, comfrotable bed, efficient staff. Good value for money, as for HK.
Small window, very little daylight - but in Hongkong, you can not expect much more... No restaurant in the hotel but many coffeeshops around so the breakfast is no problem.
Location and atmosphere is excellent. No complaints at all.
Easy to get around the city Good price.
Perfect place to stay in HK. My 6times stay.
Excellent location. 5 min walking to Orchard road but still in a nice an quiet neighbourhood. Shower directly connected to garden.
Free breakfast at close by restaurant is terrible - worst breakfast ever!! But Hotel is a good bargain even with out using the breakfast option.
the room no nature ventilation, big bed was consist of two small bed.
Very comfortable room, convenient location (nice quarter nearby Hollywood Road), and gentle staff.
No desk or space to work on pc
Conveniently located close to Soho
Unacceptable the water sink not in the washroom
Location is very good. Easy walk down the street to the entertainment regions of Soho and Lan Kwai Fong or the touristy site Man Mo Temple. Easy walk also top get public transport as Sheung Wan MTR station is very close as is the main tram. The Macau-Ferry terminal, Star Ferry Terminal and Hong Kong Station to get the Airport Express are also short driving distance away. The rooms from a far may look “glamorous” although maybe a touch over the top. The staff were prompt in responding to emails weeks before my stay, including specifying the differences in the types of rooms as seen from their website, and enabling me to come to a decision about which room type/style I wanted which they both clarified and confirmed with me, so what ending up eventuating was most disappointing.
I arrived to this hotel by Taxi, and the driver was waving and tooting his horn to get the staff’s attention to open the door and assist with luggage. Eventually he was annoyed and had to go in and tell them himself to come out. I did not think a big deal of this but it was a small sign of what was to come. When I got to reception they claimed they were extremely busy and full up so can’t give me the room which I booked on Bookimg.com and discussed/confirmed with them via email. Instead of a double-bed they pushed two single beds together. It was most uncomfortable. There were butterfly clips attached to pillows, which looked nice, but I removed to sleep. Unfortunately next day the cleaner rather annoyingly attached them again. The room walls were thin so I could hear conversations and TV from other rooms. But what was most annoying was the position of the sink/basin in the room. Some of their rooms have it near the bed or bench areas where you make tea/coffee others have them inside the bathroom itself. I wanted the latter and this is what we discussed prior to booking. For hygiene reasons I do not like bathrooms with no sink to wash your hands post going to toilet. People have to come out and touch everything to wash them. When I complained about this, a lady from reception rang and was a bit confused. She claimed all rooms had a bathroom, and wanted to help me find it. I knew where the bathroom was, it was obvious when you walk into the room. So communication with staff and understanding was another issue. Some tried to help where they could, others were confused, and some plain rude and abrupt. One was rude when I asked what the checkout time was. In the morning there was a note under my door to call reception, which I did. They apologised for mix-up and said they should have proper rooms available that day and I can change to what I wanted and booked.
The price, nothing else was available in this price range. The room was spacious and not just by HK standards. The place was immaculately clean. The wifi was fast (which is a norm in HK). I has moved from a cheap hotel to this place. And I liked it very much.
The location was excellent as it is close to bus, tram and MTR routes so getting about on public transport was very easy. Room was comfortable and the recent 'theme' revamp works.
Shower in bathroom needs to be upgraded and is cheap. When you turn it off or change water pressure the shower head falls out of holder and lands on floor. No storage space so living out of suitcases.
