Location, nice bathroom, internet cable provided. Safe in room
Very little storage in room. Two tiny lifts to service 30 floors. TV defaults to wrong shape, in correct format does not fill screen
Nice botique hotel and clean
Close to MTR, good price, friendly staff
A/C made noises so had to turn off, shower drain was clogged
Location was good, 5mins away from the train station. Service from the staff was excellent.
Such friendly staff, super comfy beds and amazing, always consistent hot showers! Seasoned travelers, can I get a hell yeah? Wifi speed/quality was perfect, better than what we have in Australia lol Highly recommended! Great location with a huge choice of convenience stores, fruit shops and restaurants just a few steps away. Not all streets are like that in Hong Kong so you can't go wrong here.
Nothing! Although if I was going to be nitpicky I would say that 2 teabags wasn't enough of a daily ration for me- but then I'm half English! ;) Everything else was great!
Good location, 1 minute to MTR, lots of restaurants and combini shops around. Close to Victoria park.
Extremely small rooms. Make sure you don't book what's called 'superior double' - it has the size of a glovebox.
Comfy room and bed. Everything you need available. Warm and friendly helpful staff (Catherine and Tim: many thanks). MTR Tin Hau around the corner so location excelent.
Nothing at all!
Near MTR station. Lots of places to eat. Very clean room.
No gym. Small room. Bathroom tight.
very small room with bathroom insufficiiently separated
The staff made entering the hotel an utter joy, Catherine & Cochi were especially helpful and friendly. The room a bijou jewel of comfort, small perfectly formed. Great shower, toiletries, slippers, towels, tea & coffee making facilities, and even free bottled water. Plus a luxuriously comfortable bed! We'll be back next time we come to the dynamically dramatic city that is Hong Kong.
We loved everything, thank you to all involved in providing us with an excellent stay
so near to MTR station and have a lot good restaurants in the area. the Victoria park just cross the road.
good value for the money. the room is a bit small but acceptable
location, friendly staff, cleanliness of the room, overall atmosphere
the view out of my window is not desirable; room is a little small
The hotel is situated on a little street, about a 4-5 minute walk to Tin Hau MTR station. There are a few small convenient stores and restaurants near by. No noisy pubs or clubs, so we didn't have a noise issue. It's also only a short walk to Victoria Park and Causeway Bay (about 15 mins stroll), where there are numerous numbers of shopping malls, restaurants, cafes and markets. Our room was directly in front of the elevator on the second floor but were hardly disturbed by loud noises, so I'd say that the walls are relatively sound-proof. The room was quite small but pretty clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Our TV screen was massive and sported many local and international channels. The free wifi was excellent with a strong signal and decent speed. The bathroom was also clean. The toilet flushes well. The shower was good and we never ran out of hot water. We always came back to a neat, clean room. The front of house staff and the cleaners were extremely helpful and friendly.
Our biggest issue was the bathroom. The bathroom wall is built with opaque glass and there's a gap above the door in place of proper ventilation in the bathroom. This means that we didn't get as much privacy as we would have liked and the fact that half the room was brightly lit up whenever we turned on the bathroom light meant that the sleeping person may get woken up. Another problem is the shower door. The seal wasn't very well done and the water was always leaking out (or more like flooding out on a number of occasions). The sink was quite small too but we didn't really have a problem with that. Please note that the bed is quite small (a double bed, not a Queen or King size), so if you're really tall or quite big, you may not find this very comfortable. We were given two pillows each but they were quite squishy but that's just me because I usually prefer a firm pillow. The pillows also smelled a bit of cigarette smoke but we were able to ignore that most of the time. On our last night, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night because some inconsiderate, selfish people were smoking in their non-smoking room. Of course, this wasn't really the hotel's fault.
staff are nice, location is a bit far from the airport, but close to shopping malls, it is very clean everywhere
Hotel location. Cleanliness and helpful staff
Room was very tiny
Great Location, Very helpful friendly staff, Clean trendy and tidy Hotel.
room is small but for solo traveller is ok
Room was well designed, clean and comfortable. Polite and efficient staff. MTR station a few minutes walk from hotel. Shops and eateries in the neighbourhood to browse and discover local goods and foods.
Ugly scaffolds outside the building.
Amazing staff. New hotel. Rooms are small but as per HK standard.
Air con very noisy. Would not stay there in summer as one cannot sleep.
good location, nice staff
room is too small
The room is really small but new and clean. There are a few good relatively cheap eating placing nearby (Dimsum 24 and Mak's Nooodles are the best). Good price by Hong Kong standards.
There is no breakfast and the room keeper rang the bell twice at 9 am when we were sleeping/ We didn't have the notice don't disturb, but to ring the door bell at 9 am so persistenly is too much imho
- excellent wifi - the location is fantastic. Many very good restaurants literally on the doorstep. The MTR station is very close and there are many other transport options with the tram and buses. Very easy to get anywhere from here. - bed is comfortable and linens are nice - room is a bit small (but it's HK)! however we found it was well designed with shelves, etc so it was comfortable. Definitely wasn't a problem for us - staff are excellent. Also bonus to be able to print itinerary, etc and use computers in lobby.
Nothing! We would stay here again.
VERY VERY VERY small room and bed
Stayed 6 nights with family/kids in mid Dec 2014, was allocated 2 rms next to each other on 21st flr opposite lift lobby. Basic necessities were all provided inclu toiletries, daily replenishment of 2 bottled drinking water, bedside digital radio alarm clock with iPhone 4 docking. Aircon was a little cold but manageable with adjustable bedside thermostat. Bath shower water pressure was stable & water temp was consistent throughout. Room was new, everything inclu toilet areas were kept spanking clean with good housekeeping. Amenities & shelvings were smartly designed to fit within room space limitations. Reception staff were very helpful & responsive, providing that personal touch with opening of entrance glass swing doors when guests were laden with luggage, etc. Location is excellent, very close walking distance to all modes of public transport (Buses, electric trams,Tin Hau MTR subway station), food outlets, Wellcome supermart. Almost everything is excellent except that all the front reception staff must learn to put on a smile when dealing with guests (especially the male staff) in this service industry. Note: If you're taking the MTR subway from/to the Airport with big luggage, the Tin Hau MTR station passenger lift does not access to the street level and you will need to carry your baggage up 2 flights of stairs, which can be quite a challenge, not forgetting the crowded trains with peak passenger traffic throughout the day. Not impossible but just an advice of what to expect. Would recommend to take the public Airport bus no. A11 or free airport shuttle bus instead, if you're familiar with the stops to alight/board and have planned sufficient time for the journey.
Rooms and cabinets were a little cramped, especially after placing luggage bags and hanging out clothes. Bar fridge housed within front cabinet not cold enough even at max setting due to insufficient air-heat ventilation within closed cabinet design. Hotel Management should remove cabinet side partition or door to allow heat to ventilate. Had to temp relocate fridge out of cabinet for beers, etc to be sufficiently chilled for consumption.
Helpful staff Good location, walking distance from MTR, restaurants, shops, bus stop Free WiFi, good speed
The bed was quite uncomfortable, not sure why but neither me or my partner could get a decent night sleep, even though we were quite tired!
