Butterfly on Wellington Boutique Hotel    

Bathroom was very special and the room nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly.

The carpet was dated and needs replacing.

Location is ideal as transportation and shopping are within walking vicinity. Food outlets offers good variety of choice. Rooms are cosy and very private. A blend of locality and modern living.

The street uneven-ness...with several steps up and down....make walking difficult esp for elders with leg problems.

Location was excellent. Small boutique hotel with style. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Front desk service was efficient, professional and friendly. Room upgrade was appreciated. All the facilities and particularly the room were immaculately clean.

The attitude of the staff are very friendly. Room are clean and well designed. The butterfly clip on the pillows are super cute.

The mattess is bit too hard.

The location. Is basically downtown and you really have everything at a walking distance The design and room comfort. It is a stylish minimal asian design hotel with very clean rooms and much comfort

Staff very accommodating for our group of 10 guests. This hotel is a room's only hotel with no Bars or Restaurants in the hotel. But you are right in the heart of Soho, close to Restaurants & Bars, near Lane (food and variety) Markets and Department Stores like H&M with easy access to ATM's, Banks, MTR (Rail), Trams and Buses. If you want fruit for breakfast, the lane market next door sell a variety of fresh fruit from across the world, freshly squeezed fruit juice across the road or your desire a Big Breakfast many restaurants close by like the Wagyu Lounge 3-5 Old Bailey St (bit of a climb from hotel) for HK$85+10% (AU$12)

The Reception is on the 1st Floor no support staff like porters (minor issue). Ensuite with opaque glass doors could be off putting for non couples if in a twin share room.

The single beds are quite small

Very helpfull and polite front desk and ground floor personnel. Location is excellent near the MRT, SoHo, Midlevel escalators etc. Hotel was very clean and room had all the necessary equipment. Each floor has only 3-6 rooms so no noise from the corridor. Free wifi.

No breakfast or bar, but there is several cafees, bars and restaurants nearby.

The room was big enough, although not spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed. Good bathroom and shower. Excellent location - convenient for airport express, shops and restaurants, and quiet. The staff were very helpful - stored our luggage after check out, and organised a taxi for us when we left.

The frosted glass partition between bedroom and bathroom gave little privacy

Location is best in Hong Kong and it has powered shower.

The shower room leaks through the door during a shower hence ended up with a wet bathroom all the time. Mattress needs changing. It gives a bad backache and sore shoulder.

The location was great for exploring HK Central and was surrounded by great food. The bed was so comfortable and the room was reasonably sized for a HK hotel. The bathroom was not too cramped and the shower was very nice. Staff were helpful and good. There are only about 3 or 4 rooms per floor so it's nice and not too noisy.

Its not very near to the MTR - you have to walk up (quite a steep slope) to get to the hotel - not recommended if you plan to do alot of shopping especially around the rest of HK because lugging all your loot back to the hotel is very tiring especially through the crowd. The television in the room has extremely limited channels - they dont offer the usual cable chanels such as Starworld and AXN etc No airport shuttle.

I travel to Hong Kong several times per year and have stayed at dozens of local hotels. This was my first time at Butterfly on Wellington and overall I was pleased. The price I paid of a little over US $100.00 dollars per night is fair for this hotel. I loved the location; right smack in the middle of bustling Central and easy to walk to or take MTR everywhere

The rooms are nice; trendy and classically Chinese as well but the carpet is in desperate need of replacing!!! The faint smell of urine lingered in the room and I somewhat suspected it was coming from the carpet. This small change would put this hotel at least one star forward for me.

Located in the poor and unclean part of the city. 300$ per night is too high rate. No option to have business meetings in the hotel.No Dining Room.
