Hotel is right next to happy Valley racecourse which some may feel is out of town. However, with a tram stop 200m from the hotel door and fares at HK $2.30 (Aug 2011) we found it well placed. Riding the trams is part of the experience of Hong Kong! Staff were very knowlegable, spoke good English and helpful. Within 30 seconds of seeing us leaving the foyer in the rain the concierge appeared with 'free umbrella'. The buffet breakfast, included in the price, was excellent with European toast, cereal, meats and cheese along with a hot buffet-European in flavour alternating with Chinese-smoked duck breast for breakfast was excellent! A do it yourself pancake maker made great, fresh pancakes. Omelettes were made to order. An excellent part of the package.

Relatively cheap price and quite handy to Wanchai and Causeway Bay area. Had a good shuttle bus service to Central and the Airport Link. Rooms cleaned well and good cleaning staff. The rooms were very cramped. The breakfast was overpriced. We did not eat in the hotel and had a great breakfast at a nearby restaurant for a third of the price.

We stayed in a triple bed room and the room size is considered quite spacious with hk standards. The location is quite good, with Times square just a short walk away. Shuttle bus service is also available to Times square. Overall, it was a pleasant stay there.

A small value for money hotel in a very convenient location. The rooms are small and basic but have all the expected amenities and a comfortable bed. This is the ideal hotel for someone looking for somewhere comfortable to lay a head down for the night but don't plan on spending much time in the hotel as there is little else to attract.

I felt it was in a convenient location and their sister hotel The Cosmopolitan had a free shuttle each day to the MRT. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room, although small was clean and supplied with all the needed ameneties.

I hated with a passion the breakfast. Eating in a sad tired bar first thing in th emorning was simply disagreeable. In addition the staff were unhelpful and the food sad and tired. But then, any bar in the daylight is ghastly. After the first day I vowed never to go again.

Everything but see below Barman,Conrad. Refused to serve self and daughter-in -law when we did not call him by his proper name (did not know it). His boss the next evening (Monday) was very friendly. The way I presently feel, I will not stay at hotel when I return to HK in November--because of Conrad. I have not made an official complaint as I do not wish him to be dismissed from his position but I suggest that the hotel management review their recruitment policy.

The hotel is a sister hotel to the Cosmopolitan Hotel which is just down the road. It's nice and comfortable and the rooms are a good size, which is a bonus in Hong Kong. It's a short walk to Wan Chai centre and Times Square, and is on the boarder of Happy Valley. It is a little out of the centre but the peace and quite when you turn the corner to the hotel is a bit of a blessing sometimes. It's a fully smoke free hotel but there is an outside smoking area on the 5th floor. The internet is not free and their charges are a bit steep for a hotel which focuses themselves on business travellers. However, Wifi is available in the lobber, the lobby bar and the outside smoking area on the 5th floor - they also offer free coffee/tea/water and fruit. Housekeeping staff are a bit loud at 7am I was woken up with a very cheery 'Housekeeping' as she walked in the room. They are also very persistent, even though I put the sign on the door to say not to disturb me, they knocked on the door and then called the room.

The staff at this hotel were excellent! Susan (the receptionist) made sure that we had everything we needed at all times. If you do book this hotel - ask for Susan and tell her Summer & Winter sent you! The bar in this hotel is very lovely but do not try to talk to the waitress. She wont stop talking to you!!

Efficient service and clean. Room service everyday left the room well presented. Room was small but to be expected given Hong Kong has very high cost per square meter. Wouldn't be good for children but good for a city break if all you need is somewhere to sleep!! Beds were hard but they can add a mattress liner.

Really only the location. 1 hour free internet in lobby. Free tea/coffee. Small standard rooms. No free internet in room. Seem they were focused on charging for anything they could. High room cost because it was Chinese New Year, but not fully booked. No in location restaurant.

The hotel was very nice, Just thought the room looked a little tired and wanted decorating. I you are going use yellows and pale grey,s they are bound to get grubby. The breakfast was superb. I chose the hotel because it had a shuttle service. The position. Overal good for a 2=3 day stopover

Free shuttle bus to hk station during traffic hour really helped my family make it on time for our flights. Distance to Causeway Bay mtr, while if may be a manageable walk in the winter,, summer months may be less enjoyable. Hotel does provide shuttle but we rather not have our schedules tied to it. The walk is difficult for families with children or baby strollers.

I do appreciate the staff courtesy and very helpfull and ready to assist the customer. The room was very clean n comfortable. Room service was carry out daily without failed, which is a plus. It will be the location. Is just too far from the MRT stations. It takes about 20-30 mins walk to the nearest MRT station. Amenities and restaurant is no where near as well.

- Good location - Free internet in Lobby - the concierge didn't speak English very well, so we had to re-ask a few things which got on his nerves. So when we left, he cursed us, which isn't proper client service.
