The Wi-Fi signal is strong, and the hotel is well situated- close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. It also has a very low booking fee.
The attitude of the staff is very poor, run down facilities, and the overall hotel gives off a very strong feel of bad hygiene. The pillow and bedsheets are yellow in colour- very unsettling. Also, the lift in the building is very small, maximum only 4 people with luggage. Waiting time for the lift is worse, I waited over 30 minutes for a lift with enough boarding space to arrive. I also emailed the staff for some enquiries, and I did not receive a reply at all and I waited for more than a week. Until I called them, then did I receive a reply.
I only liked the location. That's all. It was located in Tsim Sha Tsui so getting around was fairly easy and convenient.
The staff's attitude was very bad. I initially booked a family room, when we arrived; the staff told me then that ALL the family rooms had piping and water problems, so they changed the rooms to 2 double rooms. We asked for the rooms to be next to each other, which the staff agreed readily. Technical problems occur least expectedly and are understandable; however, the staff gave an upset face when we requested our rooms be next to each other as promised. Such attitude is uncalled for and undesirable as our stay is affected by the rooms as much as the staff. The bed was very small, it was supposed to be a double bed but it looked more like a super single bed. It is insufficient for 2 people to sleep on. The bedsheets and pillow covers look like they are not washed regularly and are stained yellow. The hotel did offer free coffee and tea, which is much welcome as the room facilities are severely lacking since some of us are teetotallers, however, there are no cup! This is rather dampening on the note of free coffee and tea. The building that the hotel is situated in appears to be unsafe at night. Most of the shops are operated by foreigners and their operating hours go all the way into late night. The shopkeepers will stare as we walk past thus lone ladies might want to take note of this as this is very disconcerting.
Wifi, location, room styling, price.
I stayed there three nights. First night no towel, second night they changed my pillow with unwashed one!
Location was probably the only thing that was good.
The entrance to the Hotel has too many people bothering with selling rooms, food etc. The lift is too small & slow. Taking stairs from 10th floor was quicker. Room had 2 double bed and hardly any space to move. There was no bathroom space. The shower was over the toilet - OMG. Was very difficult to shower. Left everything wet for the next person even using the toilet. Staff not very informative to tourist regarding HK.
Good access to all types of transport.
very limited space for a family room
the place is very accessible, near to shopping areas, near to MRT, the staff Johnny is very nice and the other Filipina girl which I forget her name. He offers discounted tickets for Ocean Park, Disneyland etc... They are so kind. They accept reservation without credit card but during arrival need to pay the whole amount.
I don't definitely like the elevators. you have to fall in line to get in. Some people late at night are drunk. But it is a safe place.
I would definitely recommend it to budget travelers who want a little comfort and security. I'd consider staying again. Staff are nice and friendly. Even small but neat and tidy. price is just right considering location and Hong Kong price for hotel accommodation where you only come back late night to sleep. If you are coming to Hong Kong looking for safe, clean and reasonable price - this Day and Night is perfect place to stay. Ground floor is crowded but you manage.
Great location, but difficult to find it if you are first time going there. Value for money if you don't mind the surrounding area is crowded with foreigners.
Crowded environment surrounding the building. Many of non local people, lift is small and slow.
The location is good. Room is clean. Staff has good performance. Tony took care of us well. He offered cheaper tickets for Disney, Ocean Park and Cable car ride in Ngon Ping. It looks dangerous the first time when you arrived to the hotel's building because there are many vendors and the road seems to be very busy, but when you get used to with it, it looks normal. There are security guards and CCTV on the first floor and in your hotel's room. So you will feel safe.
Room is too small. Only one elevator in each floor and maximum 7 persons. It will take more than 10min for you to wait for elevator every day. I do not recommend for solo traveler who is lady, but if you travel in a group, it is fine.
The room was fine. Air-condition working. Placed in the middle of the good tourist part of Kuala Lumpur
Did not know the toilet was in the room.
Staff was friendly
Located in a lousy building, dozens of guest houses in the same building, ground floor packed with small shops. Kitchen smell (curry) in the rooms in the morning. Rooms about 5sqm. Stay away !!
staff are very accommodating. free upgrade. location wise perfect, it is located in the central and have easy and convenient access to all transport. Over all stay if absolutely worth for the amount i paid.
everyday they do housekeeping
- the customer service is really good especially mr. Johnny. We can make him our bestfriend. The price per-room also ok. Even the room so small, but its ok for us. As long as we have places to sleep. Always clean everyday.
The room really tiny. Difficult to move. The lift always full. The rest is ok for us
Ladies might think twice if they plan on coming back in the late evening. Close to major shopping centre & metro train.
ok just for taking a bath and sleep.
the ground floor going to elevator is horrible. used blankets were given to us. it's our first time to stay in chungking, and i'm not going to stay again.
Cheap hostel rate
Small room space. CR/Bathroom was so small.
Very small room, no space for stand. Broken toilet bowl, dirty towel... full of hair. Not recommend!!!!!!
Thanks a lot Sherrieand John you too thanks
Any problem ask Sherrie or John they will solve it for ya
Sherrie and John always takes good care of you
The location was just in the heart of TST which was great for me.
The space that we had was so small and beds were so itchy.
though i only stayed for a day, my experience here has been good. the staffs were friendly and did all that's necessary for my part. security is decent and the location is near many stores and lively streets.
Very central, good value for money in terms of what's available in HK
The location is good, many shops and restaurants, easy access to public transport, though it is always very busy. I was pleasantly surprised to find the guest house was adequately clean, secure, and that the staff were really friendly and willing to help.
