It was easy to make friends here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Give you advise for good place to visit. The location of the hostel is the best - it's easily accessible by airport bus and subway, and you are a short walk from the harbor
The location is good, many shops and restaurants, easy access to public transport, though it is very busy. The guest house was adequately clean, secure, and that the staff were really friendly and willing to help. Unlimited free coffee and tea (already saves HKD10 per cup)
Clean and comfortable. Goof wifi.
Chungking mansions are quite intimidating when you first arrive. Huge ugly building with slow lifts and people trying to seem you rooms and heaven knows what else.
Access to room (lift has to wait min 20mnts), Room size, staff behavior.
the staff are nice & the rooms were clean. Often this is all people on a budget need. If you're looking for somewhere cheap, it's probably as good as it gets in this area.
Check-in was quick and the lady receptionist was friendly. The room and bathroom was basic; small, clean, and simple. Location wise, it is very convenient and safe.Overall experience was good and would definitely come back to stay again Day and Night Hotel.
good value for money. Very convenient location nearby to many tourist spots, shopping malls and restaurants. Building is crowded need sometime to locate the place but the guesthouse itself is quite clean, newly renovate and secured. Free coffee and wifi.
very good staff , we were group of six friends satying in 2 rooms , good welcome and free upgrade , good entrance at Block D and Block E , free coffee , free wifi , good safe , clean , we hope to plan our next holiday again
we were a group of 6 friends , we were give 2 family room free upgrade from Double and one family room , good room 1037/1038 . good 24 hour reception , so many cctv secuirty , free coffee tea, good fast wifi . We will receommend people to stay with them
The staff are friendly and the cleanliness is good.
There was not enough room in the hotel room, far too small and for a double room for 2 people was not suitable. You opened the door and the bed was there straight away. Also the tea/coffee facilities was in the hall and not in the room and no fresh milk or cups to have a drink. The pictures of what was on site of the hotel is not at all the rooms that are provided.
small but clean and very convenient location.
staff are friendly. We got upgraded from twin to family. The room has enough space. Very nice and hospitable owner ensuring our comfort. The guesthouse is very safe with cctv cameras.
I dont like everything there.
Everything we do not like.
Lovy who maintains our room and makes our bed everynight is the reason why i stayed in your hotel longer.I'm not easy to please most of the time, but she made effort to please me. I call it personalized service. She is very attentive to all my needs as a guest.I recommend that she is given a reward for i'm sure that she is consistent to every guest in your hotel. Cristy is an asset to your company. She is like a living google map.we survived staying in hongkong without a tour guide and that's a lot of savings. She is very efficient in what she does. Without these 2 staffs of yours, we end up transferring to other more expensive hotels nearby. But because of them, i am a satisfied customer.
when i arrived in my room,i dont want to touch my bed because the linens and covers are so dirty. fresh hairs still in the cover. look like it was not change.first thing in the morning i requested an indian girl?? to change my linens while we are out. when i arrived in my room, nothing was change.seems like she didn't even bother to check my room. so, i planned to transfer to another hotel but cristy and lovey changed my decision.
nice and comfortable
Rude and unpleasant staff - would not help us at all after a family emergency cut our stay short. They were unsympathetic and abrasive. Staff did not reply to any correspondence prior to our arrival. The room was tiny, although this seems common for this location. I am 6"2 and could not lay flat on the bed, which touched 3 walls. There was a 1 foot gap between the bed and other wall which contained the door. It was very expensive for what it was. We arrived late at night and were offered most types of drugs simply entering the building. We felt threatened during our stay in this building (Chungking Mansion) but it was OK during the day. Owners of Day and Night also own several other hotels within Chungking Mansion (Days is one I currently recall) so we would recommend caution when looking at others as well. Would highly recommend anyone to look elsewhere, even if the price is slightly more.
The room is clean
1. You need to queue to get the elevator (it takes 5-10 minute everytime) 2. Room is so small for price we pay 3. Its not comfortable to sleep
Not like the pictures small room with a bath
The position is good. Very close the hometown. The receptionist and worker was good.
The place is really noise. The room was really small, dirty, and noise. The bathroom hasn't workable shower.
location is excellent, good and helping staff.
very small space for family room, don't have space for baggage, lifts are always full and take long time, inside building food is expensive and irritating agents are always roaming at entrance.
In for an adventure? This is an adventure itself! It's clean, but really small. I think 6mˆ2 total. One night the fire alarm went off. This may sound negative, but it was really positive. I'm glad it was working, since there are hundreds of people in the building, and I don't want to evacuate with all those people with just two stairs.
Rush hour means 20min. waiting for lift to go up or down. Really small, bed is from wall to wall, 1.90m long. Shower, sink and toilet combined. Many many people in such small and tall building.
only the location
- staff was not helpful (had got no idea how to service ) - staff dressed unprofessional - Tv couldnt be watched - The lift to get to hotel was slow and crowed since it belongs to building not the hotel - im sorry to say that hotel smelled like a Indian restaurant - the rooms were not like what I was on the internet, felt like we were in a coffin - the building where the hotel was very dirty -
The staff and the cleanliness of the hotel
Space is small
Convenient, very near to shopping, MTR, food and Victoria harbour
It is a high density residential plus business building, going up and down the lift can be a challenge.
