Silka Far East Hotel  

the hotel is actually not in town area, it takes about 20-30 minutes to reach town (like mongkok/tsim sha zui), but it provide shuttle service which is very convenient to tourists to town or disneyland. The staff in the hotel is quite helpful. The room is clean. will definitely go back to this hotel if i visit hk again.

Its a small room, but is normal for Hong Kong. But you only need to sleep. Mtr is near walking 10 min. Some restaurants are near. Internet is available in the breakfastroom, or wireless in your own room. Breakfast, Western or Chinese style, its easy but good.

Pillows are bad, bed is a bit hard. Wireless Internet is a bit slow.

Due to the low budget perhaps, we would prefer the sheets to be cleaner. Even so they were reasonably clean enough I guess. rooms were far too small, no space for movement once you have a few luggages. We stayed therer twice (each with 10 days apart) but I would expect the keeping of the luggage to be free at no cost to me bUT they prefered to charge me $10 per luggage.

washroom was large. It was near the subway station . Breakfast was good and reasonable cost.

room was very small, no place to store luggage. Walls were too thin, you could hear the people in next room.

Location is OK, 5 min walk to MTR. Good hotel, small clean rooms but you know when you travel to Hong Kong. Breakfast is OK.

Excellent place for short term stay, rooms are small but have everything a business or vacation traveler might need for a couple of days, in a busy district of Kowloon endless restaurants, shops, mall etc within 5 - 10 minute walking distance, cab to airport around 30 Minutes. Hotel is new and I will certainly stay here again. Staff is helpful but can get busy so allow 10 minutes for check out.

Breakfast buffet is not very impressive, will skip it next time as there are plenty of restaurants in 5 minute walking distance.

Why do you guys only offer one key when there's more than one customer per room? The room is always wet, full of humidity no matter how high you turn the ac on. There were also bugs crawling in the frame of the bathroom door on the floor. For the price I paid, I might as well go to a cheaper hotel on Nathan Road. Will not refer to anyone or go back myself ever again ....!

Room was small and it did have a mould damp smell... Not sure if this is from the air con? The bed sheets was clean but the bed cover was stained. Room does need decorating and is out dated.

Excellent value for money Very convenient, about 5-10 mins walking to MTR station, shops everywhere!!! Room has lots of extra facilities like water kettle, 2 Mugs, free coffee & tea, cheap minibar fridge (all drinks 8 HKD), free tootbrushes, shampoo, cotton buds etc… Good room cleaning available all day even in evening…. Cheap buffet breakfast at 55 HKD, on 6th floor function room… Flat screen TV on the wall with English movie channel…

Very small room!!!!! Double Bed only maybe 180cm long and 125 wide. Not suitable for tall or large people. Cramped room !!! Stayed in Room 1208, noisy plumbing, can here traffic noise from the road. Sound proofing in general not too good.

Everything was great. Good location Clean Cozy Budget friendly.

The room super duper small and the bed that supposely a queen size is super small and short in length... Dont think it's queen size... Seriously felt like a pigeon nest when we are there for 5 day/4nights. Pls check the location first and areas you most visit as the cab fare will be around nearly 180hk from Hongkong island and from kowloon ard 100hk back to the hotel... So not really save of money....

Room is very small, only can put luggage in the walkway. Carpet is dirty in the room.
