Good location. Near metro station. Rooms are small, but that's normal for hong kong. Bed was comfortable. Clean and practical. No bad experiences at all for me. Staff was efficient and helpful as well. Gym looked very good too, for those that have the time for it. Use it. There is a free shuttle just outside the hotel going to kowloon station every 12min. From there you can catch the airport express at 90 hk $. and you can check in for your flight at the kowloon station directly and spend some time at the mall there. Very very nice! And don't have to carry your luggage on te train etc. the train is very modern and definitely worth a trip. Forget the taxi or other hotel shuttles to the airport. The airport express is definitely something i'd highly recommend!!! To be honest I expected something worst and then was plesently surprised. The foto on booking.com looked a bit outdated. But when I arrived there I was happy to see the modern look of the hotel. Very nice and good value for money

Food was very good and cleanernes Some of the staff was not friendley. The room was too small, and the view was looking out building site. Was not happy at all about this. I included my breakfast with my room and that did not happen. so had to pay for breakfast, and the price was different to what i agreed with room rate. Also i was charged daily rate not has i booked on line.

We paid a little more for a better room that entitled us to access to their "e" lounge. This was a lounge accessible to the higher paying guests for breakfast in a more than usual relaxed atmosphere and a happy hour from 5.30 - 7.30pm each evening, with a wide selection of drinks and light food, both events being free of charge. The lounge was well attended with helpful staff at both times. Many people used the lounge during the day for business discussions, informal sitting/ reading (from their limited library including travel information) or computer use.

The hotel was very clean and was ideally located for our trip. We did not use many of the hotels facilities, the staff that we did meet were friendly and helpful. We did use the bar one night but was not impressed so we used the bar inthe Nathan hotel. We were happy with the hotel and would book it again. The free wifi in the room was a welcome change. The hotel bar is poorly situated and the bar staff were not as engaging or as professional as other bars. It was a little annoying to find a table reserved given that the seating was limited enough. The bar feels like it has been shoe horned in to the only available space.

Location, 5 minutes walk from Jordan, which is as convenient as it gets, local amenities, cafes, shops, and a 24-7 convenient store across the road from the hotel. Roof top swimming pool is one of the highlight for me, it's clean and quiet, perfect for a swim to freshen up with a gentle breeze. The first room we were given was not a twin room as requested. It had one bath towel only, giving us the impression it was not a properly prepared for us. The room also stank of dampness, and really noisy as it was right next to the lift. We spoke to the reception and got a better room, away from the lifts, and with less smell.

I did like the location, it was very central to main Mtr Stations. I did find the conceige staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were tidy and clean. The service in the T Gardens was good as well as the service in the Metro Cafe. The food was good and enjoyable in the Cafe. I found the reception staff, as little unhelpful and generally think the reception area is not very customer friendly, as in the design of the area being a little out of the main area. The stafff are not rude but not over helpful. On this trip, i was very disappointed with the noise and the smell of the hotel renovation, as the my first night the smell of glue on the floor was absolutely dreadful. The renovation noise of banging was continuous.which I found this a little annoying.

This is our second visit - excellent location, and very good selection for breakfast. Attentive and friendly staff. Nice pool on top of hotel and small gym for work out. Lead in rooms a little small but understandable being located in Hong Kong!

The restaurant is conveniently located near Jordan mtr, and there are many food eateries around like Tsui Wah and Cheers Restaurant. Those 2 are my favourite parts of staying in Eaton Smart. The hotel room was clean and the beds were rather comfortable. The rooms were wayyyyy to small for my liking. I have a huge luggage and I couldn't even manage to open the luggage fully if not I'll be tripping all over. Would have been better if there were bigger rooms! For the price I paid ( of about SGD $300 per night per room after taxes ), it was totally not worth it. But probably I went at a time where all the hotel rooms in HK were at extremely ridiculous prices, and thus I had no other choice as this was one of the cheaper options.

1. Assistant Manager professional and good service 1. Front Office staffs lack of training and unprofessional 2. located us on the same floor level of renovation without notice 3. misleading customers by not inform guests the hotel are currently on renovation 4. located us a down grade room and refuse to change the room that we booked in for until Assistant manager upgrade us to a better room 5. breakfast club room are full most of the time not enough table and chairs for guests 6. no room check lists for guests and ended up charge us $15 laundry bag without notice (there is no laundry bag in the room in the first place we don't even know what is their laundry bag looks like) 7. no umbrella or tissue in the room

This was my first trip to Hong Kong and I was not sure what to expect... I was thoroughly impressed with the impeccable service provided by all members of the hotel from reception right through to concierge and house cleaning... They really do have a can do attitude and it shows... I found the guys in concierge to be very resourceful... They managed my visa application and freight forwarding of my excess shopping... They were great... The hotel had a beautiful and exotic scent throughout, especially in the foyer... it was very uplifting and pleasant reminiscent of a high end perfumery... it made me feel like i had arrived to someplace special... The level of accommodation was excellent... very satisfied with the rooms and other facilities of the hotel... Location was perfect for me... it was on Nathan rd where there was plenty of high end shopping... and just around the corner from temple st night markets where you could get great deals on everything from jackets and belts to hand bags and shoes... Over all my stay at the Eaton Smart Hotel was excellent... when i next travel to Hong Kong i will definitely be staying here... I highly recommend it... I found entry in and out of the hotel a bit confusing... Tended to lose my bearings each time...

Open terrace. Good Burger. Incompetant staff. Had to wait one hour for my room at 5.30pm! Room was tiny. Lost my discount for cancelling one night. Too expensive for a Hotel of this calibre.

I wasn't impressed with my stay at this hotel. My room was very dated and the hallways on the 7th floor were dingy. The hotel was busy, so service at the Metro restaurant was very slow. I thought the layout was confusing and not all the elevators went to all the levels so it was a little inconvenient to get around. I would recommend the Nathan or Prudential over this hotel.

Continental Breakfast is good enough for europeans who can't eat the chinese style breakfast in many Hong Kong hotels. You have cheese, honey, eggs butter, jam and many other things which will make you have a good start for the day. I had a continental breakfast including in the offer at booking.com. But when I stayed in this hotel I found out that this are muffins for breakfast and you need to pay extra for open buffet breakfast. I mean, who wants to start the day with muffins all the week every morning, muffins which also taste terrible. The rooms are old. Carpets are old and mold in the bathroom. 30 years old design.

“The hotel location is very ideal for shopping. Access to the harbor and nearby Harbor City shopping Mall is easy. Museums and Kawloon Park are near by. The rooms are big enough and clean. It is worth for the money we pay. The Buffet lunch in the hotel restaurant is cheaper and tastier.” Chidambaram, Tutcorin |
