Eaton Hotel

Geweldig personeel, goede kennis van het engels. Heel prettig dat ze (naast een zwembad met terras) een terras hebben bij de lounge, waar je los van het drukke stadsgewoel kunt zitten en wat drinken. Prima lokatie t.o.v. openbaarvervoer. Echt top dat de bus die je naar de trein brengt voor het vliegtuig, voor de deur een halte heeft.

Kamer aan de kleine kant, maar dat hoort bij Hong Kong heb ik begrepen.

Het geheel was netjes verzorgd, ontbijtbuffet uitstekend, het zwembad boven met de kleedruimte en de kledinglockers kwamen uitstekend van pas bij onze late vlucht, ook de bagage opslag was goed geregeld

De hotelkamers zijn wat aan de kleine kant, voor 2 volwassenen met twee koffers en handbagage. Locatie zou iets dicht naar de waterfront toe mogen zijn (± 25 min lopen)

convenient location with MTR and food outlet, shops just within walking distance. Rooms and beds are comfortable and quiet eventhough it is in the city centre.

The concierge was helpful. They seemed to be knowledgeable enough about the places in HK so it was not hard for us to look for the places we wanted to visit. The hskp also did a great a job keeping our room clean and they responded very well to our requests immediately. My boyfriend emailed the hotel to arrange a dvd player in our room. We received a reply from the hotel and said yes it was possible but we were not expecting it to be the there as soon as we arrived. My boyfriend and I both have an experience in the hotel industry so we had an idea how things could get wrong with guest preferences but we were very pleased as to how the hotel staff attended to our requests. The room was smaller than we expected. My boyfriend had to confirmed with the receptionist but they said it was because the deluxe rooms were newly renovated. (???) Oh and I wish they add more toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste like other hotels do.

the location was excellent and it offered free internet. they also offered a shuttle to the airport express train

the hotel was alittle wore out. i could imagine at one time that it was a great modern hotel, but it seems like it might be due a remodel...

The swimming pool was in a beautiful and relaxing area, the free internet was handy and the bedroom was kept beautifully clean.

Our breakfast order was forgotten, which was a shame, but at least once the issue was raised the manager on duty apologised and sorted out the problem.

It's a fantastic deal.. The room is fantastic!! It's very very very clean, the room size is great, the furnitures are new and the breakfast was good. We got upgraded to deluxe so the room is huge (for hk standard). I've not seen the standard room so sorry guys I can't comment much here. For first timers to hk, I would 10000% recommend you to stay at least 1 night here because you should experience at least 1 night partying at lkf, then just hop on a taxi to the hotel.. It only costs hkd 18. Otherwise it's only 20 mins slow walk... This is the best hotel near lkf. After 1 night of partying just book eaton hotel in Jordan (Kowloon), I really loved Eaton... (Look for my reviews on Eaton in this site).

Other than it's proximity to the tram & lkf, I did not like the location at all. It's not within walking distance to any mtr station. Walking is painful because it's uphill so be prepared to get lazy and pay approx hkd25 for taxi to mtr. It's ok if it's your first time in hk because you're probably out exploring hk during the day (ending up @ the peak), then just take a tram back to hotel, wash up & walk (downhill) to lkf. My biggest disappointment is the staff don't know how to smile. And they don't have razors in this hotel(!).
