Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees  

As the hotel location is very far from the centre and also not in the main road. One male staff tried really hard to get the taxi for me even there were a few people waiting outside of the hotel. I really appreciated his extra effort. I felt very guilty afterwards as I forgot to give him any tips.

HK$1800 + VAT for a night in a single room, in a location of only limited taxis passing by... or you can wait for one hour shuttle bus... hm.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The bed was wonderful! so soft and fresh.

We booked the Harbour Plaza as an alternative to the fully-booked YMCA. It was more expensive and the location was not nearly as convenient. Also, thename is misleading, as the hotel is in the middle of run-down apartment complexes and no where near the harbour. It took a half hour bus ride on public transit to get to the ferry.

I like the chain. I usually stay at the Metropolis however it was booked. The hotel was good as I was in meetings out of the hotel each day. Service was very good. Pool area and lounge very nice.

Late check in on my second stay during this trip, bad room - twin beds, smelled bad - switched rooms and paid extra to upgrade to 21st floor, very nice accomodation.

shuttle bus

a bit surprised when i asked to clean my room and later when i back 2 my room, i still found my last night's food on the table. and my table is really messy. or shall i put a lable on my food to say THROW AWAY? i thought a hotel like this, their staff should b cleaning the room in a more organized way.

Great hotel, I like everything, but little too far from MTR and not too many taxis around

Everything you could want for a pleasurable stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Room was first class, comfortable, attractive, peaceful and relaxing with great facilities. We loved the location in Kowloon and everything about this beautiful Hotel. All in all, a very pleasant place to be in.

Internet only availible for 120hkd for 24h use. No shorter time available no other option even around the hotel.

I liked the rooms - all new and spacious. The room service was good. The staff at the concierge was very helpful. I stayed on the 17 th floor and the lift worked excellent. Overall a good experience.

The location is away from MTR station. The shuttle buses compensated to some extent. However the shuttle buses were closed during the Chinese New Year. Internet should have been made free.

The friendliness of the staff and the welcome.

They should have real drinking glasses in the room and not these disgusting plastic goblets. Also the accountants should be better educated. I had substantial mismatches ion my bill. It was settled though finally.

The hotel staff was really helpful throughout my stay and they responded to my needs quickly and effectively. Mr. Mak the guest services manager was especially thoughtful and was efficient at sorting out the issues we faced during our stay.

Good food around. Very near city by taxi. Only prob is mtr is far. Hotel is clean n good.

Staff is not listening to guest interest. Very packed hotel during our stay thus quite messed up. NOt flexible. That's makes staff becoming stringnet and guest has no choice
