Harbour Plaza Metropolis  

Away from hustle and bustle of Nathan Road but free hotel shuttle every 10 mins. Great buffet breakfast, beautiful swimming pool with view of harbour. Enjoyed harbour view from our room

Cost of internet too expensive, flat screen tv on wall would give more room as no room for second suitcase.

Big Lobby, Cleaniness, close to mtr station.

Very small room sizes. They try to take out money from your pocket for everything E.G. Since I was travelling with my 2 kids, I booked a Superior 1 Bedroom Suite with Kitchen but for utensils they asked for HKD150/day. Even after paying almost usd 380/day for the room and a stay for 5 days, they didn't gave complimentary breakfast, internet access or even bottles of water. As per the standards of asian hotels and value for money .... this place was ridiculous. Total waste of money.

A very nice hotel, excellent facilities with a great pool (open until 10.00pm) which was perhaps the main reason for staying there. Out of the highly populated areas of Hong Kong is a definite advantage. There is a shopping centre attached with several restaurants and it is close to metro and bus stations plus hotel shuttle.

Decent location, clean rooms. Good value for money

Staff takes a lot of time to respond and you need to be patient to explain what you want to say.

During a busy xmas period - rates offered by the hotel were reasonable. Overall good stay. Shuttle service to tsim sha shui very convenient, just 5 mins from the hotel. Cleanliness , room comfort was good.

Room size was small. Internet and breakfast quite expensive. Hotel should consider free wifi for customers.

Location is great, 1 min walk from Hung Hom train station. Easy to walk to Avenue of Stars, lots of shopping and dining in the area, but this applies to most hotels in Hong Kong, shopping and dining is everywhere. The hotel has a shuttle service, very convenient and fast way to reach Nathan Road. The breakfast buffet was good, very pricey, but good.

Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a harbour view room including breakfast ( we had to pay extra for that), we agreed but we had to wait too long to get to the room. We didn't like that, but it will be fair to say that we also got free drink vouchers at the restaurant. The room was ok. My biggest complaint is the bed size, we booked this hotel and room type because of the bed size, it should have been European king size, however the bed was only a queen, way too small for us. My husband had to sleep in the living room, which had an expandable sofa bed, but not very comfortable. I would say that for the the price we paid we could have stayed at a more convenient and comfortable hotel. Overall was good, but I would probably seek a different accommodation next time.

Staff Attitudes was poor

Wow what can we say staff.location,service.amenities,harbour club, reception and all who had a hand in our stay made it so good we will be returning with all our 5 sibblings and families next year 2012 for another vsist to wonderfull hong kong well done harbour plaza keep up the great standard and all the team in the harbour club see you soon specially candy and jenny...you made our trip regard denise and ken

It's an impressive hotel, with a great view on Hong Kong island. Busy, but not noisy.

We tried to change our room, in order to get a better view on the skyskrappers, but it was impossible. To many guests:-)

The guest relations personnel are english speaking and attentive. Housekeeping staff are friendly. Restaurant staff are attentive. The smoking rooms are well equipped with smoke eaters/exhaust.

Nice to have: indoor pool during cold weather :) air ionizer/scent diffuser for smoking rooms for fresher smell
