Standard of breakfast was average.
Great location, very near MTR and with lots of eating options around; the free airport express shuttle bus stops on road just next to hotel
B/F ok as long as dont expect too much; there were 3 lifts but always seemed to wait a while when needed one!
Great location right in Hong Kong Central! Handy to take the MTR (only a couple short blocks away) to get around. Bed was comfortable, place was clean, staff were helpful-- can't think of anything negative. Great shuttle service to the Airport Express train. We had our ten year old daughter with us and they provided us with a cot bed for her which she was very happy with. WI-Fi worked well also. Great value for the money--- it's not fancy, but it's a very good price for Hong Kong and the room was a decent size, even with the cot bed in it. Would definitely recommend!
The Breakfast wasn't very good, but I wouldn't judge a place buy the free breakfast. Restaurant got very busy after 9:00. The coffee was good!
Modern and comfortable room with great Wifi. Close to metro stop.
Cleanliness was pretty ordinary - used razor on sink and long hairs all over the bathroom. Carpets pretty dirty.
The room I stayed was specious. Neat and clean. Reastaurant is good. Good quality food. One can enjoy his stay.
We got high floor with a nice view of the city and sea. location is good and 2-3 minutes walking form a Subway station. Place is clean.
friendly staffs, convinience transport from/to Hong Kong terminal-Hotel
Wifi on and off
Room is clean Staff are friendly and accomodating
Room is a little bit small
Everything was very good with the exception of...
the breakfast. I was surprised that the Holiday Inn in Beijing breakfast was better with more variety. The breakfast had a lot of starches with few vegetables, other variety. Overall still filling, just quite a difference.
Free wifi compare with Holiday Inn Sydney which charges. On site restaurant service and food excellent. Breakfast v good. Reception very helpful.
Bathroom cubicle, opaque dividing wall and shared shower door.
Great location. Relax room with computer. Quiet sleep. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. Late check out
Relatively small room for an upgrade queen size. Free breakfast limited in choice ( only boiled eggs for example, no gluten free toast). Lousy money exchange rate.
Too small rooms not very comfortable problems with tents / lights desk stff not avilable breakffast for an european here, is a nightmare
Location is perfect
The wifi connection its capavle into our room
The breakfast menu
I felt the personnel was rude. It happens twice to ask them certain thinks and before answering they spoke between them in Chinese and laughted. The breakfast was poor with almost no fruits (just banana and apple). They provided complimentary some small bottles of water...but the put the in the toilet !!!!
The location is amazing. There is Shueng Wan MTR station at 2 mins walk and a lovely Dimsum shop just beside the hotel where you can enjoy really good local food (The staff at the restaurant is not very nice though but food is good). There are pubs and bars which are open late till night and there's a 24 Hr Mc Donalds to save you life at night as most of the regular restaurants close by 9 or 10pm in Hong Kong. You have a Subway and Pizza Hut as well near bye and for Indians, you have an Indian restaurant very close called Central Indian Restaurant on the Tram Road. Though there was a mishap, the service recovery of staff was very good. In our room, there were bed bugs. As we complained to the reception, they immediately upgraded us to a better room and also extended our check out till 6:00pm. We had 2 rooms and they they did that for both. That was very nice of them. I would definitely like to visit them again if they change their breakfast.
The breakfast is appalling. They have a Thai restaurant on 2nd floor which is outsourced. We stayed there for 4 nights and the same breakfast was served on all for days. The menu was also very limited. They served scrambled egg on all four days. Everything was exactly the same. It was really depressing. Moreover on our last day, the bread got over midway and upon asking one of the staff told us that if we wanted we can buy it from downstairs fro the grocery. i was shocked and angry at this. Upon shouting, he apologized and they got the bread. Holiday Inn Express do not have an in-house restaurant so its very difficult. This Thai place is very expensive and not good at all. I would never go back to this hotel unless they change the restaurant or take ownership for it.
friendly, english speaking staff. served by the airport express shuttle.
no gym - but not a big issue... not really planning to workout at the hotel anyway
Great free breakfast Comfy bed Free shuttle from/to HK Station Close to Central/Soho nightlife
humidity smell in room Front desk staff could have been friendlier
1. Location 2. Service 3. Breakfast 4. Price
The sound proof of the room is not good.
Nice and confort hotel with value of money
very convenient location, close to transportation. Free shuttle from Hong Kong station every 20mn.
Poor service, stayed 4 days, at 4.00pm room still not clean. difficult to have bed sheets changed. Lifts are a nightmare. 3 lifts for 32 levels, means almost 10mn to exit the building. breakfast place too small, after 8.30am expect to queue to get a table.
Location is close to MTR
Smelly rooms with old carpet. Extremely small rooms.
1. Location was handy. 2. Staff were helpful once I demanded that they be. 3. Because of my first bad night and morning they gave me a late checkout on my departure.
1. Smelly eiderdown on the first night and shower flooded the whole bathroom on the next morning. They asked me move rooms, but I insisted that they fix the problems instead. Otherwise I felt they would just try to lease out the room again as is, without making any changes. 2. They ran out of bread on the breakfast buffet on my first morning. And the breakfast buffet is pretty awful anyway. 3. Their tenant restaurant blatantly advertises that it serves sharks fin. It is unethical that a hotel should lease their restaurant to such a tenant. For this reason alone I am never returning to this hotel.
