Ibis North Point  

I loved the location. The hotel is just in front of the bus station where you can take the shuttle (n11) to the airport (40 $hk one way) Bus Stop: north point. The hotel is near the north point mtr station (subway). Lots of restaurant and seven eleven minimarket arround the hotel. I like the Harbor View (From the 20th floor). You can take the mtr to go out at night (Stop: Central).

The room was very very very very small.

Good location: subway station, airport bus stop and ferry are just behind the door. Room size: really small, but furnished wise so that we could totally unpack 2 suitcases in available niches (we used to live in 4 star hotel in midlevel, there we were not able even to find place for our suitcases in the room, it was possible to open them only on the bed). Hotel and rooms are clean. No claims regarding elevators and bed size. The only our request to staff regarding adapter was fulfilled immediately. WiFi password could be obtained by phone.

It's just ordinary 3 star hotel (although clean), a good place to sleep and nothing more - and perhaps it is the worst I could say.

the discounted price is good, only +$10 compared to hostel price in Kowloon. In addition, the option to cancel reservation is very much in my favor. The location is good, just next to North Point MTR, exit A1. But take in mind that it's not a short walk from the train to the exit. The window view is direct onto the pier to Kowloon city and the opposite bank. nice view :) The double room is enough for sleeping purpose. The toilet is spacious and nice.

Free in room wifi does not work properly

Very convenient to Metro and good for budget traveller. Lovely outlook over harbor. Restaurant served good quality meals but service was quite slow with only one waitress to serve, clean up, take orders and payment.... She did a great job considering...

Had single room which was pretty small but adequate. Bed a little too firm. Neighbors were a bit noisy when coming home at 3.00am . Not much soundproofing.

Poor wifi quality is irritating when you r on business. Breakfast is soso. Room has very little place to move.

Close to mtr station. Clean, comfortable. Great view of harbour, shame about the fog!!

Location and value for money

The Ibis North Point delivered exactly what was expected - a functional low cost room with no added extras but with easy access to the MTR.

There are only 2 lifts serving about 30 plus floors and the wait for the lifts in busy periods - early morning especially - can be long

I like its location - very close to mtr station. Nice buffet breakfast.

Room was too small. Bed was not as soft as the one in Ibis Schipol.

Ibis had great location. It not located in downtown. However, it is at the local area where you can meet local people and see their lifestyle. Even, it's not downtown but you can come to town easily by taking the underground train for 10m. and the station is next to the hotel or take the tram on king street be hide the hotel. You will be in town in less than 10m. I'm sure this is one of the best hotel to stay and have a great time in Hong Kong. Also, you will have a chance to try local food as well :)

I think the price is a bit expensive for a small room. However, if compare with other apartments. I think it 's better to stay here and pay higher price instead of staying in the dirty apartment. At least Ibis got reputation that you can always rely on.

Ibis North Point is very conveniently located to both the bus station and the MTR. It is very easy to get around and easy to get to and from the airport. It was also an easy walk to my course in Quarry Bay when the weather was fine. My room was very quiet most of the time. I liked the availability of a cost effective breakfast. The staff who cleaned my room did a nice job of both the bathroom and my bed.

I felt the security guard should have been located in the entry foyer and ground floor access to the lifts - not the 1st floor reception. I would really have enjoyed a softer mattress however I was still able to sleep. I would like to have access to more English speaking channels in the TV eg there was no option to get english subtitles for programs.
