The irish pub in the basement, is convenient for good food and a cold beer. Be warned. We extended our stay 1 night, and were quite surprised they charged us 750 hkd ( 100 usd) above the regular rate! Location is good for shopping, but because of its very close proximity to Chungking Mansions, touts offering hash, fake watches, and suits abound, (tirelessly touting), a few meters from the door.

As what most of the reviewers' input on Imperial Hotel, it is a 3 star hotel with a 5-6 star superb location along Nathan Road, situated in most StRATEGIC place where everything and anything are convinient - from public transport, food, shoppings, attractions etc. Moving about using the mtr ( a station within few yards from the hotel) was so easy and flexible. Lively location and I would certainly stay at this hotel again if it is on personal visit. Room rate is reasonable although room size is a bit tiny but if we are travellers visiting HongKong, we will not required a large and luxury room as we will be out and about most of the day time. Weather around January to February is cold in HongKong, be it inside the room or outside in the street. The hotel could provide a heater cum aircond instead of the aircond alone. Although the aircond termostat was put to 30^c, air from the air-conditioner are still cold. If the air- cond could turn into heater, it will be good to be used all around the year during both the hot and cold weather.

The location is good. Near Mtr, walking distance to harbor city, avenue of star, shopping center. The carpet is not clean and moldy. Saw a cockroach and was force to kill it. The staff at reception processed our check out in a hurry and didn't even bother to assist us after check out. Poor service poor room condition and carpet. Will definitely not return.

The location of the hotel is really good. It's accessible to the mtr and there's shopping and food around every corner. Room is not so crampy and has space for 2 open luggages. The room has a funny smell. The security of the hotel is not so good. There are many non hotel stayers walking in and out of the hotel

The location is excellent with several mtr stations nearby. I had a triple room to accommodate 3 of us but the room is too small, that we are finding difficulty walking around. Seems like a double room converted into a triple by adding an additional bed. This hotel is only for those who are looking for no frills hotel but the prices might be steep for that kind of hotel.

Location is excellent. That's all about it. Bed too stiff and we found a bug on the towel during our last day of stay. Toilet has a funky stench, suspect sewage problem or mouldy shower curtain because we tried using tons of air freshener. Btw this is the only hotel we have ever encountered not to provide any tissue paper, only one toilet roll provided per day.

The staffs are not friendly. When they talked you, no eye contacts The smell in the room 1011 is so horrible. How can you call this a 3 stars hotel, it is even worse than Motel 6 in us I never complain about anything hotels that I booked with booking.com before, but this time I have to. Booking.com, please take off Imperial Hotel from your listing

Perhaps greatest feature of hotel is its' location, in central Tsim Tsa Tsui, Kowloon. It is an easy walk to museum and cultural center, Star Ferry, and Harbour Center Shopping mall. It is also surrounded by a great number of small mom/pop shops in the Chungking building and elsewhere. High end shops are just across street in new shopping center. It includes location near a great mix of old and new. The hotel offers basic clean accomodation in small rooms at a good price. While I do not recommend their breakfast buffet the rest of hotel and services are just what a money conscious travellers looks for. If looking for class pay more and stay elsewhere. The booking of a shuttle bus to airport was very well handled. City tours may be easily booked from hotel lobby. With the exception of the very small room size the hotel was pretty much what I expected. I was disappointed in the breakfast. The western style eggs and bacon were terrible. There was not a good balance of asian food or fresh fruit choices either. I would recommend not paying extra for the breakfast as there are nearby places, such as Murphy's Irish Pub which offers a great choice at a similar price.

Location si very good, close to the malls, restaurants and victoria harbour. Staff customer service is really bad, not helpful at all. You either just get a yes or no for your queries. We complained about the smell in the room but they didn't do anything about it.They have a long way to go with customer service compared to the top hotels.

The hotel is convenient for it's prime location on Nathan road. It has easy access to the mrt and many shopping malls. The room is fairly small and the bathroom is of another age & below average standards! Some renovations urgently required and the carpet need to be changed. Staying there for one night is ok. For longer period, I would recommend you choose a more comfortable hotel unless location is a prerequisite!

note: I booked 2 rooms, 1xTriple and 1xDouble for my family of 5 adult siblings for 3 nights - This is typical old hotel so its not modern in design, fixtures, facilities. But maintained relatively well. It is also generally clean. - great location: MTR Tsim Sha Tsui station exit C1 is just across the hotel, Avenue of Stars, Victoria Harbour, Clock Tower, shopping, eating places are within walking distance - room: I'm pleased that the triple room is provided with 3 double beds and not a double bed with an extra bed. It is also spacious enough for putting our luggage. - facilities: refrigerator, safe, kettle, coffee&tea, slippers, drinking water bottles are provided everyday, sometimes there is newspaper - staff: hotel staff here are very accommodating and helpful. check-in & check-out service was fast. - Price is still high considering this is 3-star hotel only. - TV is not flat screen as in the pictures. - The curtain is very sheer so light from outside goes in the room. - People talking in the lobby can be heard from inside the rooms. - Bathroom provides only toothbrush, nothing else.

Price Beds are hard. Triple room was just a double room with an added bed, so it was really cramped. But the other double room I booked was really spacious, maybe bcos it's a corner room, so that was good. Though location was central, didn't like the Neighbouring surroundings. No free wifi in lobby.

Very near the mtr Subway station I booked for a room with 3 beds. But they only provided me with a 2 bed Deluxe Room with an extra bed. I rejected the extra bed because the room was too cramped to move around with the extra bed around. Plus folding beds are not that comfortable.

I love the location. At first I was nervous since after a few days that I booked this hotel, I was able to read one of the reviews stating that this hotel was rated top 3 dirtiest hotel in Asia and I couldn't cancel my booking anymore. But I was surprised to see that this hotel is very clean and spacious. My family booked the next 3 nights on a 4-star hotel just across this one and I think this hotel is so much better and costs so much cheaper and the room is also bigger. I will definitely stay in this hotel on my next visit with no more doubts.

Frankly, the location only and its relatively "cheaper" price compared with the other hotels located along Nathan Road Well, it has no transportation facilities from hotel to/from airport.
