the hotel staff could not have been more helpful the room was clean and well appointed and had a great view over the harbour food and drink were quite expensive |

I am happy with the good service and cleanliness of the hotel. I am not happy with the shark's fin being dried at the sidewalk around the area. It is smelly and I pity the baby sharks that was killed. |

The convenience of being downtown, near a major subway station and along the tramway line. Good access from there to the rest of the city. The hotel's presentation on their website and the pictures make it look slightly better than it really is. The swimming pool could look better/better located. However we understand there is a lack of space in hk and it doesnt make it easy to arrange things beautifully. |

Island Pacific Hotel is a nice hotel, clean, smell good and well lighted, though small and narrow escalator but its not a big deal.The staff in the front desk are efficient and can speak English. the Hotel Manager is very accommodating and has a good PR. My room are small. The pool close very early, i wish they can open till 12midnight. |

This hotel is very good value for HK. The facilities are excellent and my room had a fantastic view over the harbour. The buffet dinner is a real experience with unlimited free wine (go for the red!) - wine is often expensive in HK. Breakfast was good too. The bar is a bit of a disappointment - no atmosphere and expensive drinks which is a pity as there are not many alternatives in the immediate area. |

It is within the City of Hong Kong and very convenient. We were able to get adjacent rooms as requested. The room is very small with an old 19 inches TV instead of the advertized flatscreen TV. The closet was too close to the bed and difficult to close and the safe inside the closet was not functional. The bath room didn't flush easily. The gym is very old,small and has barely working machines. |

Everything was fine. There was the distinct harbour smell as you stepped outside but one can hardly blame the hotel for that. One of the receptionists was very disagreeable and thus ruined first impressions. However, as time went by, I re-appreciated the hotel and realized that the rest of the staff were friendly and ready to help. |

Reception staff were very helpful and nice. It is at a wonderful location and you can go anywhere by tram or taxi. The staff at the cafeteria and restaurant did not speak English. |

check in early even i arrived around 9am in the morning the room is very smelly, and air circulation is not good. location is not closed to MRT station. |
