The staff were helpful, the housekeeping aunty was friendly, the place of stay is very convenient to travel around. Air con was very good & cold.
The bed was hard, pillows too flat & thin, the drain for the shower room was just a small pipe for water to flow & that the water isn't flowing if you let the tap run non stop! The toilet was smelly due to the open pipe. It was very noisy outside during the night as you can hear the buses, cars passing & people talking. Shower curtains have stains, towel are somehow broken, safe box doesn't have handle to open.
Staff was rude and unfriendly, definitely not something people would be looking forward to on a holiday. Rooms were dirty and beds were uncomfortable. In summary, the level of hospitality was zero.
The location is very ideal, close to bus stop & metro station.
Must upgrade the lift. It takes a while during peak hours to go up or down the building.
Location of the hotel. Other than that it's expensive, small and unfriendly staffs.
My flight was at 8pm so after I checked out I left my luggage with the hotel. They charged me HKD10 for each luggage which is fine with me. However, when I retrieve my luggage, my luggage tag was torn. I asked them what happened and they insist that it was torn when I handed my bag to them. When i start looking in the room which they stored my bag, I saw my tag was lying on the floor. They did not apologise even though they saw.
Only location is ok. Unicamente su situacion.
Cannot leave the luggage for free. Need to pay 10 HKD for item. Lobby very nice but room inside Very old and not enough maintanance. Dejar el equipaje cuesta 10 HKD. Lobby bonito pero las habitaciones un poco dejadas...
Place too dark
Location very convenience
Lift too slow.
Location on nathan road.
Room and bed
I like the location, the entrance is located in the side street just a corner away from the busy Nathan Road...lots of restaurants in the neighborhood and Temple stree is just one street behind. We stayed in a double size bed room, the bath room is decently big. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful in general...we have stayed there two weeks.
I wish they could change the shower curtain, the curtain rings are rusty, and do not expect the bath sheets/towels are up to the North America's standard. They are really fugal torn bed sheets are still in use...
Location Room size
No elevator Noisy hallways and slamming doors
Location is good. Just a few mins walk from the YMT MTR.
One and only lift.
Location - very convenient to/from airport and commuting around with MTR just a few minutes walk away. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful
Lift is a little too old
Location and good food within walking distance.
The staff are not making us feel like guests. Should be properly trained on how to handle requests that cannot be accommodated instead of a straight no. Essentially really poor customer service.
Very near mtr yau ma tei and A21 bus station for going to airport. Staffs are still helpful fir helping us to change the room after we got sone smoking smell room.
Room is very dirty. Carpet is full of dust. Our first room has smoking smell. Bed is verg hard with spring. Bathroom amenities has only shower gel, toothbrush and comb. No cotton buds, no shower cap. The room is dark. They charge for 10 hkd for bag deposit after check out, which shouldn't charge. No toilet in lobby.
The hotel is located very near to Yau Ma Tei subway station Exit C. It is more convenient to take Airport bus A21 from the airport than MTR to the hotel as it stops opposite the hotel. Alight at the 9th bus stop (Man Ming Lane, 文明里). Taking MTR involves changing stations. Take the same bus back to the airport at the bus stop on the same side as the hotel. The rooms are decent size for Hong Kong's standard. As the hotel is along Nathan Road, there is no lack of eateries and shops in the vicinity. There is a nice cafe 味王 further down from the hotel pass Exit C of Yau Ma Tei MTR. The porridge store next to it is nice too. I would consider staying here again for the convenience.
I stayed at room 1303 which has 2 single beds. One of the beds has a really hard mattress but the rest of the beds in the room and the next room 1302 are ok.
Beds and Bathrooms layout are better.
There's only 1 Lift available!
i enjoyed the staff as they were very friendly and assisted us with information all the time.
i have not recieved my deposit back from your institute. i was told that it should take about +- 14 working days. it has been over 3 weeks and have not received my deposit back. please advise how do i go about getting my deposit of 1000HKD$.
The location is excellent. Bus 21A to the airport just outside of the hotel.
When I was checking out it was found out by the reception that one glass was missing, all my explanations that there was only one glass in the room, instead of two, were falling on deaf hears,my credit card was on hold by the hotel. I was "detained" for few and minutes and asked to pay for that "missing item" - 20 HK$. I have been visiting this htl. since 1988.It's not nice, ridiculous and mean.SHAME
Staff are accommodating & attentive in your needs..
Is it standard in all hotels in hk to charge the left luggage when u check out?coz in Dubai it's free of charge & there is shower facilities u can use later if u wish to change before your flight..wi-fi only in the room, not in the lobby!but most of the areas in hk has free wi-fi access.the shower curtain in our toilet is off white with rust color down which is I believe is not a standard
Fire alarm went off at night. The small slow elevator.
- Staff - Charge 5HKD per luggage leaving after check-out
- short distance from Yau Ma Tei station - wide selection of food in surrounding area - easy to get taxi - rooms are decent although a little dusty - hotel staff service is good, but we are charged HKD10 per pc of lugguage for safekeeping
- thin walls - small lifts - very basic amenities in the room
close to bus stop to airport
