+ Location, Location, Location! :) + Price for Value + Nice and comfortable room + Friendly and professional service + Reliable and fast wifi
- Smell of humidity during first night. This is the common issue in Hong Kong, when weather starts to cool down (I stayed for two nights in the middle of November) + The humidity issue was solved proactively, as the hotel staff had installed and turned on an electrical air dryer already prior to my arrival. On the second night the smell was already gone.
Excellent position for business & night life! Very easy to go to other options: SOHO, LKF or Happy Valley!
All services provided.
Location, not good for young children.
bathtub very helpful staff location mini bar safe
very small room, but normal for HK
Difficult to catch a cab
1.Location is superb as it is centrally located on Hong Kong island, close to the Wan Chai rail station. This means the traveler can easily access the subway to get to stations close to ferries and other sites. 2. Room size was adequate. 3. Staff always friendly and helpful. 4. Breakfast menu and range of western and Chinese foods was excellent.
1. Inadequate lounge area on ground floor.
Not being able to get the room I booked then getting scammed into upgrading for another $500 per night so I could have a double bed.
Dark , with fungus on the wall , after arrive I did our check out, I lose 500usd and move to a clean option. Bad deal and as usual booking protect this kind of hotels
Staff very attentive and spoke good English, Modern room with fast WiFi, mini bar restocked daily and included in cost. Great position on HK Island with Ferry to main HK only 10-15mins walk. All round pretty good experience.
After long day out shopping returned to room for room service advertised service to 10pm - At 9.50 we called -Sorry its finished only night service available. Had to then go back out to find somewhere to eat - Restaurant waiter service very good, however - do not order the chicken came out bright red in the middle and was assured it was the "Special" way it was cooked and prepared. Have subsequently checked - not correct could have ruined our stay. Chef was concerned and offered a nice friendly response - but was inaccurate and could potentially ruined our stay.
Staff all well trained, courteous and helpful. Good location, good transport links. Close to shops/restaurants etc. Great choice of food at breakfast.
Some 'hot' food items at breakfast were just warm. Warm plates might help. This is a minor gripe, the breakfast choice was impressive and staff can't do enough for you.
Nice location. Take the a11 bus from the airport drops you off at the door of the hotel (40 hkd)
There was a lot of noise coming into the room. It was crazy outside but they could have soundproofed the room better. You can stay at a better hotel for this price if you look deeper. We were misinformed by the frontdesk staff
Check in staff great / location great / free wifi as you'd expect
Breakfast - i would best describe as slop. The cooked components were given a wide birth ! Even the toasting bread was stale / nope definitely not worth bothering with - simply a marketing ploy which is poorly executed Fitness centre - smaller than a prison cell and I'm not of the belief that three pieces of equipment constitute the description 'centre'
receptionist WERE EXCELLENT service
Great location, cleanness, very good breakfast, possibility to keep lagguage after check out and have a shower also after check out. Even though the standard room was small it was still bigger than we had in NY on Wall street.
Politeness of staff & convenient location
The staff was very nice and very friendly. The hotel is in the center of Wanchai and public transport is in front of the hotel. Although it is in the middle of Hongkong it was very quite and we could sleep very well. Perfect to explore Hongkong!
The staff at the door very helpful at all times
Having to give my credit card details for the second time when payment was made over the internet at a price $40 less than paid at the hotel
Felt very safe travelling as a female lone traveller. Upgraded to the 'she' floor which was lovely and the hotel itself was calm and relaxing despite being in the heart of wan chai.
No cosy cafe or lounge area.
Chosen for location, not far to Station, bus and tram. Excellent breakfast, staff helpful.
Towels were pretty ordinary
Very helpful young staff. Comfortable room and bed with good street views. Good location for food and bargain shopping, and easy walking to harbour and central.
Liked it that they have a kettle, tea bags, coffee, a fridge; the bathroom fan is strong enough to dry clothes overnight, as it was a last minute layover due to the disruption by the protestors.
the bed is basic, no room service, no iron and board
It is in a good location since our conference venue was close, then everything else was also close by like restaurants, bars, shopping and where ever we wanted to go.
The room roof was low for a long person like me but that how probably most probably all hotels in this range are in HK.
Location was central food was good and room wasn't too small. Staff extremely helpful and courteous.
Beds are possibly too firm. I would suggest rather than having a pillow topper as an option that they be on the beds regardless.
Location superb - right at the heart of vibrant Wanchai. Service was top rate with Ronnie and her team happy to help with any requests from tourist tips to room service. Breakfast was very good. Very clean and reasonably spacious rooms crowned a great stay. I will definitely stay there next time I go to HK which will hopefully be soon.
Lighting level was a little low in the room
